Ray konime's death

I walk around as I hear everyone talking about it Ray konime's death; everyone I walked past gave me a death stare or a side eye. Everyone thinks I have something to do with Ray’s death but how could I have killed him? I was his best friend. "Hey freak!" Someone says pushing me to the floor. Black long hair, a crop top and a mini skirt that could only be one person. Standing there was Leah she’s the schools head cheerleader everyone worships her except for me I hate her guts more then she hates mine she’s dating the person I liked for three years.

"My god- did you brush your hair today? Or do I need to cut it?" Leah asked as one of her minions handed a pair of scissors to her "I don't want or need my hair cut." I say standing up and walking away "Ugh! I can’t believe she killed Ray! What a freak!" I hear Leah say as I was walking away. I have short red hair, wear baggy clothing, I'm pretty much a tomboy and I am 5'11 I don't know why people would think that a weirdo like me would kill my only friend. "It shouldn't bother me if I didn't do it." I tell myself.

"I can’t believe I had another accouter with Leah. I mean school was already over!" I mutter under my breath walking home I stop seeing a black cat in front of me "Hey there little one!" I smile the cat Meows in return the cat then starts walking I decide to follow the cat since I have nothing better to do the cat was really cute! I stop walking as I look around "Whoa it’s so creepy here and cold!" I say looking around there was fog everywhere and a lot of forest trees and barley any sound. The cat stops at a small box "What’s this?" I ask knowing the cat couldn't respond I start to open it at the cat hisses at something deeper in the foggy forest.

"Who’s there?" I yell I then hear a sound in front of me I then look down the cat was gone. I look up once more and see a boy around my age but taller than me he was holding the cat he was tall, had black hair, he was wearing a mask, he had a katana, he was also wearing a long robe and he had a nose ring. I fall to the floor shocked not expecting to see anyone. “Who are you?!” I yell the man points at the box that landed by me the cat somehow turns form into a little kid. The cat now had green short hair, a pink shirt and red skirt she looked to be around maybe ten “What are you?” I ask as I look at them both. “I’m Kio this is sally she has forms as do I we have five forms each.” Kio says “We need that box to be opened by a human.” Sally says.

"That still doesn't answer my question!" I say throwing the box at Sally and Kio. "Be careful with that!" Sally yells catching the box before it hit the floor again "We dropped the box one time so did you. If it falls again there is a chance it might not ever open again!" Sally says she then lets out a sigh of relief. Kio steps forward "But you are right we didn't answer your question. creatures like us are called shifters not shape shifters just shifters." Kio says looking at me "I'm a human as you both know." I say awkwardly picking a flower up from the floor.

"I think I should go." I say standing up "No wait! you have to help us please!" Sally says "I don't even know you guys! I just meant you both!" I say standing up holding the flower I picked from the floor in my hands. "Please help us its our way home!" Kio says with a shiver in his voice "Fine! But after I do this we have to be friends." I trail off the last part of the sentence. "Friends but why?" Kio says "Because I don't have any therefore I want you guys to be my friends please!" I say with a sigh "Deal!" They both say after looking at each other.
