Payed back later.

     As they walked into the Ice Cream place Kazou shivered. It was cold inside the building compared to outside.

"What are you going to get", Suma asked Kazou as she stared intently at the menu.

"Not sure yet", Kazou said staring at the menu aswell.

Ami and Toyo were already up at the counter ordering while Miwa and Yumi were debating which was better: Vanilla or Mint chip.

"I think I'm going to get theeeeeee-" Suma said draging out the word the, "probably just a fudge Sunday with sprinkles and gummy worms and peanuts".

"That's alot of toppings", Kazou said.

"Well I don't get ice cream that often so I'm going to treat myself", Suma said.

Kazou found the way she said this cute.

"What are you getting", she asked.

"Vanilla", Kazou responded quickly.

"Vanilla? That's plain and boring", Suma said.

"Vanilla is a perfectly fine flavor and it is not plain. Plain means it has no taste, Vanilla has a great taste and it is the most solid Ice cream flavor", Kazou said defensively.

Suma started laughing at him. He felt embarrassed but ended up laughing with her.

"Move lovebirds I'm ordering", Miwa said walking in between Kazou and Suma.

"We're not love birds", Kazou said, "we're just friends".

"You two aren't dating?", Miwa asked. She seemed genuinely confused. "But Ami said-"

"Leave them alone", Yumi said cutting Miwa off. "Just get your 'Mid-Chip' chip Ice cream."

"Oh you did not just call it mid", Miwa said. Miwa and Yumi then continued their debate.

As they were debating infront of the worker Kazou looked at Suma. Her fave was the color of a tomato.

"Sorry about that. She must have misunderstood our friendship or something", Kazou said.

"Yeah probably", Suma said.

When they got to the counter l, Kazou pulled out his wallet. He payed for his cream and waited for Suma. Suma told them her special order of a fudge Sunday with gummy worms and peanuts, and reached for her wallet. Her fave turned red again.

"I- I'm so sorry I forgot my wallet nevermind my order", she said stumbling over her words.

"I'll pay for her. How much is it", Kazou asked.

"No you don't have to", Suma said. Kazou could tell she was embarrassed about forgetting her wallet.

"I still owe you from the Cafe remember", Kazou said.

"Oh yeah", Suma said. Kazou then bought her Ice cream for her and they sat down with Toyo, Ami, Miwa, and Yumi. They were at the ice cream place for about a half hour before Kazou and Suma headed back to finish up their project.
