First meeting with her?

“Goodbye mom and dad.”

“Don’t forget to call us when you have arrive at Tokyo later, Youta. Also, send our regard to your Aunty Maaya later.”

“Alright mom.”

As I take my seat in the train, I look outside and see my parents waving to me. Then, the train started to move. From Kyoto to Tokyo, if I’m not mistaken is two hours and fifteen minutes. Maybe I should take a nap for a while. I still do not believe that I will start my college days next week.

I open my eyes and look outside that I have arrive in Tokyo. As I got off the train, I noticed someone who looked familiar waving to me.

“Maaya-san! Long time no sees.”

“ You have become a grown man now. I am so happy to see you again after 3 years since we last met. So, how your parent doing now?” asked Maaya-san happily.

“ They are doing well now. By the way, my parent also send regard to you.”

“Oh, so is this all your belongings?”

“Yes!”

As we both get on the car, Maaya-san ask me, “ Do you want to have lunch first before go to your new house?”

“Let’s go! I feel like my stomach is empty right now.”

“Okay! Hmmm, I think there are nice restaurant near to the station.”

It’s long time I have not been Tokyo. Last time I was here to visit Maaya-san with my family to celebrate Christmas together.

After fifteen minutes passed, we arrived at the restaurant that Maaya-san said a while ago.

“This is restaurant that I said before. Food that are served here so delicious!” said Maaya-san.

After we enter the restaurant, we take the seat that near to the window. A waitress come to our table and take order.

“Can I have an omelet rice and coffee ice please? How about you Youta?”

“ Can I have an omelet rice also and ice lemon tea please.”

“Alright! So, please wait for 10 minutes for order to done, “ said waitress and then she goes to other table to take order.

Suddenly I feel want to go the toilet. ”Maaya-san, where is the toilet?”

“From here you can see the counter. The toilet just beside of the counter.”

“Okay, I can see the toilet now.”

When I want to enter the toilet, I bump into someone. Unexpectedly, she is someone I know from my high school.

“What are you doing here, Minami?”

“Is that you, Youta? What are you doing here also ?”

“ Next week, I will start attending university around here.”

“Really? I just have a little business that I need to do at Tokyo.”

“ Is that so? See you later then. I forgot that I wanted to go to the toilet before,” I said embarrassingly.

“ Okay, see you later, Youta.”

After I finish my business in the toilet, I see that my order has arrived on the table. As I take my seat,

Maaya-san ask me, “Who is the girl that talk to you just now?”

“My friend from my high school.”

“Really? Are you sure that both of you are just friends,” ask Maaya-san with a smirk.

“Yes, both of us are just friends. So, can we just start eating right now. I’m so hungry.”

I don’t want Maaya-san to have more weird interpretation about me and Minami.

“Okay, I will stop asking about it.”

The food here is delicious. I did not realize that my plate was empty. After having a yummy lunch,

Maaya-san went to the counter to pay for the food. I tried to find Minami where she sits in the restaurant, but I couldn’t found her. Maybe she is already home.

“Let’s go to your new house now.”

“Okay Maaya-san.”

My new house is not far from the restaurant, the place that we had lunch at before. It only takes fifteen minutes by car. The guarantor for my house is my dad. For the rent, I use the money that I collect from my part time job and my parents also help me to complete the pay.

“So, this is your house. On what floor again your house?” ask Maaya-san.

“Third floor.”

“Fortunately, it’s not too high. So, let’s get your belongings to your house.”

When I open the door of my new house, the interior is quite simple but comfortable for me. I LDK,

1 Living room, 1 Dining room and 1 Kitchen.

After 30 minutes, all my belongings are in my house now.

“Is there anything that you need help for, Youta ?”

“I think it’s alright. Thank you so much for today, Maaya-san!”

“You are welcome! If you something else, you can call me anytime.”

“Alright!”

After Maaya-san went home just now, I started to unpack my belongings. Without I realize, the day turned to night. I switched on the light. What should I eat tonight ? Maybe I should have a cup noodle tonight. I open my smartphone and see the chat that my mom sends.

“Did you have arrive safely at your house?”

“Yes, mom.”

I did not realize before this, but my mom is faster in typing using smartphones.

“Really? So , how do you feel about your new house? By the way, did you had thank Maaya-san for helping you today?”

“Yes, I had thank Maaya-san after she help me moving this evening. And this house is nice. I feel comfortable. Thank you, mom and dad, for helping me get this house!”

“You are welcome. Don’t forget to study hard in university. I think I should start to prepare dinner right now. Your sister, Azusa start to call me from kitchen to help her cook.”

“Alright mom. Take care yourself and send my regard to dad and Azusa later.”

“Don’t forget to take care yourself also.”

“Okay mom.”

I think I should start to prepare hot water for my cup noodles. After a few minutes, I pour hot water onto my cup noodle and wait for three minutes. Then, I enjoyed myself while watching drama on television.

What should I do for the next five days? I suddenly remembered that I had bought a new video game yesterday. Maybe I can play that video game tomorrow. Without thinking too much, after I finish my simple dinner, I go to sleep.

Next day, I woke up quite early and took a bath. Then, I get all my snacks, video game and bring it to the living room. From morning to night, I did not stop playing video games. I realized that I have become a NEET person right now. If mom knew what I was doing right now, maybe my ear would be bleeding now. Just kidding. I go to sleep at 1 a.m. and wake up at 9 p.m. That’s my routine for the next three days.

After four days, finally I defeated the final boss in the video game. I am quite impressed with myself. The game is popular because of its design, and it is based on a popular light novel. There are different types of character to use with different abilities.

Then , I clean the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. When I look in the cupboard, there are no more noodle cups. All my canned food also I don’t see anymore. Right now, I have only rice.

Luckily, convenience store is near here. I take my wallet and prepare to go outside. The convenience store is in front of the flat. When I was on my way to the stairs, I came across Nakamura-san with his wife who are my neighbors. I met with them when Maaya-san helped me are moving into my house.

“I think this is second time met after the other day. How are you doing? “ ask Nakamura-san.

“I’m doing well, Nakamura-san. I just don’t really go outside. Maybe that’s why you don’t really see me often,” I said embarrassingly.

“Is that so? By the way do you have met with Saito-san who live next door to you? ”

“Not really.”

Not going outside for straight four days is one of reasons that I can’t meet her.

“Don’t worry. Maybe later you will meet her. Sometimes she goes outside late at night with her boyfriend. I knew it because during that time I always have my medicine before I sleep,” said Nakamura-san’ s wife.

“Yeah. Don’t worry about that. Okay see you later, then Arima-san.”

“Alright. See you later then.”

Then, I go to the convenience store and buy many cups noodle and canned food. I’m so happy that I can replenish my supply now. When I arrived on the third floor, I saw something in front of my door house. What is that? As I walked toward my house, I realized that was a person lying there. Maybe I should call police.
