"You better get to the main event now," Mr. Sivan said, after they had gotten out of the basement. 

John didn't answer but just stood there silently. 

"John, say something!," Mr. Verlice said. 

But John just sighed. 

"Son of a bitch!," Mr. Sivan said as he punched John in the face. 

Mr. Sivan was strong and John could barely stand. 

"Ethan, stop!," Mr. Verlice said, pulling him away. 

John sighed. 

"You know wanna why they were here?! Then I'll show you what they were here for," John said and made his way towards the basement. 

"John, no!," Amy said, grabbing him by the shoulders. "You can't do that!". 

"Amy, I can't do this anymore. I wanna let them in on our secret. I just wanna relieve both of us of this load," he said and left. 

"Holy shit. This is insane!," Mr. Sivan said as he saw the sight before him. 

What lay before them was Paul Mason's dead body. It was just a plain old corpse but what was odd was that it was smiling. The smile was very sketchy. But what was even more odd was that it's arms and legs were twisted. 

"Why is he smiling like that?," Mr. Verlice asked. 

"Because he was pretty high when he was killed. Serena turned him into a drug addict when he got to district six. I don't know how much of an addict he had become but I'm sure he had become very schizophrenic because whenever he called me he was always so weird and said very unbelievable things. He didn't even remember who I was," he said. 

"Why are his arms and legs like that?," Mr. Sivan asked. 

"I don't know. Serena Kim's an assassin. She has a million ways to kill someone. She just wanted to let us know through this corpse that whoever would try to go up against Black Monday would end up like this," he said.

"I'm not buying this shit, Isaiah! I know I live in district six but this is still too unbelievable for me!," Mr. Sivan said, anxious. 

Mr. Verlice sighed. 

"What do we need to do to avoid Black Monday?," Mr. Verlice asked. 

"Avoid?! We've just earned ourselves places on their kill list! We can't avoid them. They'll find out about every single person related to us and kill them. You can't erase what happened a while ago. They will not let us live. We are their main concern right now!," John said. 

They were silent.
