Chapter 9:

A Special Being

Becoming the Principal of Isekai School

"You have to listen to me, sir. This is from my experiences." Kyoko sat in front of the principal. "All those monsters can't be trusted. I always get bad luck when dealing with them."

Eiji intertwined his fingers and put them in front of his face. "I understand your worry. But believe me, I don't think I'll be able to get the best teacher in magic besides Anneth. And like I said, all of you candidates are hand-picked by gods. They may have flaws and strengths, but I'm sure they are good."

"Well, as chairman, you must have thought about this." The kunoichi leaned back on the chair. "But I feel the need to take preventive measures. I will keep an eye on Anneth and be prepared in case something unexpected happens…."

She turned her head back and whispered. "That creature came. Excuse me then."

There was a knock on the office door, and Eiji replied. "Please, come in."

When the monster opened the door, Kyoko stood up and smiled. "Hi, Anneth. Do you need anything with the principal?"

"Ah, I'll hand over the curriculum." The monster answered.

"That's so fast." Kyoko looked at the piece of paper in that creature's hand. "I haven't even finished working on it, and I came here before you."

"By the way, I'm really looking forward to dinner today." The corners of Anneth's lips moved up slightly, but the monster didn't seem to smile because of its giant teeth. "Your dishes are new to me, but I love them, Miss Kyoko. Their taste is exquisite."

The kunoichi was stunned to hear that. "I'm going to prepare a meal I've never cooked. It's of this world where Miss Sienna came from. I hope I didn't mess it up."

"I'm sure you will succeed, Miss. Good luck."

After the little exchange, Kyoko left and closed the door.

"So, you want to talk about your curriculum, Anneth?" Eiji moved to a new couch in the middle of the room. He just ordered that thing, and it was the same shape as the previous couch. "Please, sit."

Prior to this, the monster had a bit of trouble sitting on the chair in front of the principal's desk. That thing is too tiny for Anneth's wide bottom.

"Hopefully, you're fine with this. Basically, I copied the basic magic training from my old school and made a few changes." Anneth sat and handed over the paper full of writing to the principal. "If the goal is to prepare potential heroes, I think that's enough."

Eiji scanned the paper and raised an eyebrow. "Sorry that I didn't explain your task well. I'd like you to teach support magic as well, not just offensive ones."

Anneth was silent for a few moments. "Did you know I can only demonstrate offensive magic with my human form? I have to use this terrifying appearance to demonstrate support magic. I believe teaching magic will be ineffective without showing it in front of the students."

"I know your unique condition from your profile." Eiji put the paper on the table between him and that creature. "That's why I chose you. You will become a support and offensive magic teacher. I hope you don't mind."

"You're not worried that the students are afraid to see me like this while teaching support magic?"

Eiji flashed a faint smile. "If I, who never fought, wasn't afraid, I'm sure the would-be heroes would be the same. They might be taken aback for some time, but I'm sure they'll get used to it after seeing your true personality."

The monster was silent again, a little longer this time. "Are you actually able to summon me in my other form?"

"Yeah, I got that choice when I chose you." Eiji was still smiling. "But I want to see the real you, Anneth. I'm sorry I said this, but I want to ensure you still behave well in this form. And it turns out I can already see it in this short time. You are kind and very passionate about education."

This creature cares for its prospective students, ensuring they get a good education by suggesting library upgrades. And the compliment to Kyoko is a sign that Anneth wants to have a good relationship with her co-workers.

"You may not see it, but I have tears in my eyes." Anneth sighed. "It's kinda hard to show my expression in this form."

Eiji got up. "I have prepared everything if you want to change to your other form. I also want to see that."

"Don't tell me you prepared cabbage concentrate liquid?"

Eiji took a bottle filled with a greenish liquid from his drawer, triggering Anneth to slap its forehead.

"You don't have to drink it if you don't want to." Even though he said that, Eiji still put that bottle in front of Anneth, along with one set of dark green clothes. "I'll order a lot of cabbage instead."

"No need, I will drink this. I also want to show you my other form, sir." That creature sighed again. "Oh, my God."

"I'm out then." The principal left the place and closed the door. He then looked up and found Kyoko sticking to the ceiling.

"Hi, sir." The kunoichi smiled, speaking silently.

"Did you hear all that?" Eiji asked.

"One of the ninja codes is not to eavesdrop on superiors." The kunoichi's back, arms, and legs were still pressed against the ceiling. "But I can still detect suspicious sounds."

"I'm not hiding anything…." The principal scratched the back of his head. "But thanks. For looking after me like that. I really appreciate it."

"No problem. You are my new master, after all. I must ensure your safety."

"There's nothing to worry about. We were just chatting…." Eiji had not finished speaking when the office door opened.

A woman with a thin stature looked from behind the door, then spoke in a rather soft voice. "I'm done, Mr. Sakazaki."

"Ah, you look great, Anneth," Eiji observed the shoulder-length dark green-haired woman.

"What?" Kyoko's eyes widened. "What happened!!??"
