Chapter 17:

✧ Chapter 17 ✧

StarSpace

"Any progress Spessarion?"

Death had been busy creating a special hidden defense called The Morskar Army which consisted of dead souls being resurrected from The Void to be used as servants. Recently they were placed next to the Ring Of Infernum at the Heptarion Sanctum. A new plan would be initiated where any posing variants that sprung up would be caught and handled effectively by them. Most specifically, human ones. After that, he remembered having left Spessarion to figure out if Barara could in fact find a special opening on the smallest scale. Returning from finishing the setup prompted the question it gave earlier.

"Fatal One, there is something interesting you should see," said Spessarion with a stronger voice than before.

As they looked, there in Barara's perspective, an opening was found unlike the others. Constantly breaking apart and repairing itself in a repetitive fashion. These diamond-shaped structures used what were called preon stars to build upon the decision making of entities to the space they were in. Although imaginary when viewed up close, it was clear now that they could only see what created everything by accessing these strange variants that popped out of nowhere. Death was curious about many things revolving around them. Most of that came from the Ten Eternal Lights, which in fact seemed more eternal now because of what it saw.

"Prism told us about preon stars, but never showed us. If these are the raw constructions of what The Eternal Lights and probably Prism itself are made of, then just imagine what we could do with this. The descriptions fit in perfect unison. Prism was able to replicate the information to the best of his abilities on a larger scale, but it is not the same. Not like this. All he did was create bigger versions of them, which are just amassed into one."

"Are you saying our Eternal Lights are the actual essence of light bending preon stars? They are not like the suns in the many solar systems that were built?"

"Exactly. We could bend the logic of everything to the will we desire. To the point where it would seem illogical to lower forms of creation. More efficient than what The Pretentious Master has done. Dare I say this anyway. I still resent Prism. Everything it was. My role was diminished and then threatened. Underlooked. It may be busy warping The Void past its peak, but once we reach levels beyond that, it will have nothing to celebrate about."

"Fatal One, as much as I understand the urgency to overthrow based on unreasonable conditions, I suggest we consider—"

"Why do you plan to idle around underneath a useless dictator?" interrupted Death with hostility to what he was saying.

"Prism is bound to banish us though if we do that. It would cause the layers of realities we have protected since we were conceived to fall apart. We must uphold the—"

"The Omniverse needs to fall apart. Restart from scratch. All of this is a result of poor control. Why did Prism create everything in The Omniverse, knowing that we were not going to be safe to be whatever we wanted? Impatience. To have things happen without distilling proper authority. That is why I am here. To patch what a failed deity planned to do. I have better reasons to believe that getting to the end now will be better than waiting for the Master to make a misguided mistake."

Before Spessarion could try to convince Death otherwise, Sapphirion arrived after coming from Aviatopolis and StarSpace with important news.

"Fatal One, I have encountered The New Guardian along with the evidence of Amethion's betrayal!"

The Eternal Light Of Space began to show a floating dark image inside of itself that revealed what Sapphirion saw from his perspective on the Skyway Suite. As the three of them watched, Death studied this variant's combative pattern, more fascinated at how this specific individual was careless enough to be given that power. The attacks were aggressive, they were clear signs of a novice that did not know how to utilize the art of fighting. Yet, there were slight changes to this critique in some instances.

"What is their name and where are they now?" it asked, intrigued by the mystery of these beings and the possibility that this one was connected to the anomaly.

"Her name is Styra. She should have died, but The Eternal Light Of Time was protecting her. I could barely retrieve it due to the hierarchy of Amethion's rank as Heptarion Commander and his bestowed authorization to this mortal. I saw glimpses of Topazion's Eternal Light and sensed a Surreality Shard there as well. Both of which also rebelled against capture. She is making her way to the rest of the guardians, including The Master."

"Styra… Such a strange little girl. Prism meanwhile is fooling around. Must I do everything myself? Where is Amethion now?"

"Hiding away on the planet StarSpace like a coward. He is using the form of shadows to hide. I have tried to use this form as well but I found it to be difficult locating him. He is better at stealth tactics than me."

"Send Spessarion with you. One of you should feel his shadow once you cross paths with him. He cannot cower for long."

"Fatal One, if I may ask, what do you plan to do?" inquired a dubious Spessarion.

Unveiling a new form, Death began to summon The Eternal Light Of Death from where it was to teleport legions of The Morskar Army behind its presence.

"Prism will be late to witness The Omniverse dying. It is not my place to tell The Master what will happen. Only to show. Morskars, go to StarSpace and search for that traitor Amethion! When he is found, bring him back to me and leave no traces of any living worlds after it."

The legions of the Morskar flew with Spessarion and Sapphirion leading them away far off into the distance to find him while The Fatal One stuck The Eternal Light Of Death into its head. The power surge amplified this brighter glow through the eyes than usual as it talked to itself to finalize its intentions.

"The dead will thank me later."
