Chapter 31:

✧ Epilogue ✧

StarSpace

Inside the scorching inferno, Strage was bathing in the hot lava while glimpsing at the four Eternal Lights remaining there in front of it for a while. Suddenly, after staring for so long to keep them safely guarded, their brightness began to dim for a few seconds before returning back to normal. It didn't take too long for it to realize that these Eternal Lights were rebelling by their own accord. The Guardian Of Death decided to take the Eternal Lights to a place far exceeding the bounds of every multiverse. When instantaneously surpassing one, these warm, ethereal, and uniquely thread-like structures were floating calmly; housing the universes that raced around inside of them to prevent the likeliness of a space-time paradox from occurring while they had already chosen to be separated from one another.

Encompassing the multiverses, a burning golden misty atmosphere exposed portals into every existing singularity. Singularities were these dark spots at the center of a black hole that revealed information pertaining to every universal timeline. Interestingly enough, this could otherwise be interpreted as the interconnected map of a Megaverse. Once Strage had arrived, it flew towards what could be described as a seemingly pitch black gaseous entity larger than itself. Recently, the anonymous figure was studying all activities occurring across universes where timeline signatures deviated from their natural flow. To fix them, it was constantly using The Eternal Light Of Darkness to expand the dark matter within each one, allowing their cosmic webs to expand and grow until their minds were content enough with that change. Strage watched, knowing how terribly frustrating it was to facilitate that balance while multitasking between the many worlds which were unimpressive, unorganized, and undeniably wasting away constantly. Prism ordered them to allow living things to freely think on their own accords, but as a result it was becoming just as messy.

"Creperus, I bring important news. I have been guarding the four Eternal Lights in my possession that were originally stolen from someone who we thought to be The New Guardian. Since my interactions with her, she is now an ally of ours who proclaims to go by the name of "Judgment Warrior," it said in a deep thundering voice.

Creperus turned around ominously with its three round heads swindling lightly as each one had a large yellow eye opened, two smaller ones closed below it, and one mouth attached. In the center of the body, the same mist circumventing this environment was used to build the brace that wrapped around its dangling tentacles. Within Creperus's brace, The Eternal Light Of Darkness gave off an eerie luminescent shadow about itself.

"You let the girl deceive you? Ever since Amethion pointed out the time disconnect and sensed the scathing created on the wall, our plan has been closely successful thus far. It is only a matter of time before our Master initiates the next step. Why am I not surprised that you haven't been keeping up with this is beyond me. You are fortunate that we made arrangements in your absence," Creperus stated in a crackling yet dismissive tone.

Strage accepted those words as truth while Creperus showed one particular singularity connected to the GN-z15 galaxy. Touching it allowed the ability to show a desired location correlating to its memories. In this case, Perenorbius was the target. The Kra Force still kept the Time Shield surrounding the world intact. Creperus began to explain the stratagem in progress.

"Ever since this Styra came into existence by unknown means, we've been testing the ultimate outcomes. Seeing what her capabilities are. For the most part, she is an unidentifiable change in our system… Which means the chaos outside of the Omniverse's boundaries is taking a gamble on our Fate. The return of those blades substantiate how dangerously close the Master could become convinced to replace us with them. Then we would end up being useless and cast to the side. Starting now, our next resort is to play this Judgment Warrior into our grasp."

Hearing this did not exactly thrill Strage with the same justifiable ideas it once had, even though it knew other plans already were made. As they observed all that this Megaverse offered, Creperus was at ease with the knowledge that eventually they would know the full story behind this expanding void. Tracing time disconnects like these were not exactly easy because it wasn't created by them to start off with. Still, there would be an advantage on their end since she only got as far as traveling outside of her own universe and teleporting into multiple realities within one multiverse. GN-z15 was a speck well within its definitive location. To put that into perspective, Styra and whoever else allied with her would be living somewhere other than the older Perenorbius they were looking at.

That disregard of her original home was similar to the way she abandoned these Eternal Lights. Prism warned that if left unchecked, leaving any of them unattended at all would allow random reality shifting events to occur beyond its control because by themselves they were chaotic. This meant they were going to have to find new existing anomalies that were also possibly originating from beyond the original scaling of their Omniverse. Right now, there weren't any clues to determine what it could be except with the strange disappearance of Amethion.

"The chances of uncovering what has been unleashed is far from us now, but Prism has seen the opportunities of a future where The New Guardian is no more. We wait until the proper time to strike. As The Master mentioned to us before… Once the search is done, all things will come to light," it said with a semi-confident smile spreading across each of its faces.

Strage wondered what plan could possibly work in consideration of the fact that they were distancing themselves until then. Studying the girl could be more effective but, once again, it was not so sure about causing conflict after what she did. Strage normally craved anything made of flesh. The Judgment Warrior changed that way, as it now saw itself differently. It saw her to be on par with the acceptance of the objective rule that Death held. True judgment was impartial to the structure it built. No matter which names it went by. The Grim Reaper. Shinigami-sama. La Pelona. Cu Sith. Thanatos. The list could go on and on. Regardless, to it, there was no reason to stop and idly observe the view.

Questions reminiscently held prominence over the countless passive demands. Why should they wait? If the future was held indeterminate for forces outside of their control, what was stopping them from yielding the events that could occur? By making that superfluous deal with Styra to regain some sense of normalcy, neither of them won. Prism controlled the past, present, and future of The Omniverse. So how could this just go past their ideals of common sense for the sake of desiring to see an end that could be made possible already? They could make Chaosity suffer within the blink of an eye. Not much would remain except for it to cling onto that dying wish. Then Death would feel satisfied.

"Dark One, while I have no doubts that Prism is infallible to choosing the moment of truth, there is an obvious stalemate at play. Why would we stall something grander than this when The New Guardian may in fact be our only hope?" asked Strage.

Creperus thought about this thoroughly. Disobedience to The Master's plan would likely cost them the supposed victory sought after for so long. The problem was her potential. The power she possessed was uncontrollable. Prism was in favor of her end for a deeper reason, but Creperus did see the possibility of a compromise as well to keep everything from going into madness. For right now, this threat already flew out into many different places where chaos could brew. Fortunately, it had been trying its best to keep universes from perceiving more than one reality. This caused a ripple effect which was designed to keep its lifeforms from escaping their own separate continuities and prevent them from creating a new one. For if they did, it would resort to that fear of accepting the power that they held. The illusion that what they were creating in their minds was not real. A living creature hopping around like this from one to another with ease and control did not occur as often in the same sense… Which made it much more dangerous.

"Very well. We must band together with the remaining guardians and set up a new order bound to life. Styra The Judgment Warrior will be given a chance to fix the Omniverse from its new ways. If she fails to improve its growth, there may be an irreversible punishment none of us will be prepared for. It is possible that Chaosity is breeding recklessness into the ignorance of their existence much like the others before them. I just hope that Prism is willing to not stop this plan for anyone or anything until they are truly willing to change their ways and show progress," said Creperus with favorable intentions.

In that moment, the entire ordeal surrounding what would come next was set on those unbreakable terms.
