The star-patterned cloth unwraps fairly easily, and it's surprisingly much bigger than it had seemed (and Yuri herself is surprised by her own surprise, ironically). It's soft and light, and at the same time, it's comfortably heavy around Yuri's shoulders. Probably about four kilos.

As for the box that it used to house, it too is bigger than expected. There’s a letter with this, too, but unlike the one from Kaoru, this is written in three different hands, and that alone is enough to make Yuri smile.

As she finishes reading, Yuri hears an impressed whistle.

"Whew- I think "some" money might be an understatement! I mean, look!" Andromeda sits in front of a pile of gold coins, with a few bits of silver and copper thrown in, and wait-

"Are those actual jewels?" Yuri asks incredulously, standing up from the bed only to join Andromeda in front of the box.

"Yeah...I guess you must've left quite the impression on those guys..."

"That's...good? I think? But, um, how are we supposed to...?"

"I'm sure the UI has something," Andromeda says. "So, I guess...order it around and see what sticks?"

Well, it's not like she has anything else to try.

"Ummm....return currency to inventory?"

Nothing happens.

"Add gold?"

"Add currency."

"Return to inventory."

"Umm...uuhhhh..."

Yuri wracks her brain. What does this process usually look like in RPGs?

Maybe if I...

"Select gold."

And suddenly the entire pile is tinted blue.

It worked! Now, let's see...

"Add to inventory.”

Nothing happens.

"Add to...currency?"

The entire pile shrinks and slowly disappears. At the same time, a box flashes in the corner of Yuri's eye.

「You've obtained 1,000 Gold, 50 Silver, 100 copper, 2 rubies, 1 diamond, and 1 string of pearls!」

Most of the pile is gone now, save for what looks to Yuri like two crystals roughly the size of her palms; one crystalline prism is colored a very, very light shade of blue, while the other is a vibrant orange color.

When she goes to take them, another window pops up.

「Separated Freezeflame Golem Core:

The two halves which, according to legend, once formed the blazing heart and the frigid spirit of a legendary golem. In reality, though they're not as rare as stories would lead one to believe, they're still difficult to obtain and highly valuable. They offer protection from extreme temperatures, and can be used as portable cookware in a pinch! 」

"Huh," Yuri mutters, "that sounds incredibly useful... and they're just...giving these to me?" She holds one crystal in each hand; the orange one feels warm in her right hand, while the blue (almost-white) one feels cold in her left.
