Summer Storm Part 1 : Unwanted Reunion

Today is the day when we, the theatre club, will go to Fujimiya senpai’s sister in law ‘s restaurant. We will go there by using Takeda senpai’s car. So, all of us are gathering at the university’s entrance first. Then, from there we started our travel to Shizuoka where Fujimiya senpai’s restaurant is located. It takes time for two hours and thirty minutes approximately. The beach there looks so beautiful. There are many people having fun at the beach.

“Arima, do you remember our plan?”

“Of course, Takeda senpai!”

“Don’t forget to bring a camera and sunglasses. This plan is risky. One wrong move, we can’t continue our normal life anymore.”

“I will remember this advice Takeda senpai.”

“What are you planning Kenji? Don’t teach anything weird to Arima-kun.”

“What are you talking Eri? I teach him how to enjoy summer as a man of culture.”

“Yes!”

“Forget about it, we will see my sister in law first.”

Then we went to restaurant where Fujimiya senpai’ sister in law working.

The name of restaurant is Happy Summer Restaurant

“Hello, neesan! We are here! “

“Hello everyone! Thank you for coming! You can call me Kazuha-san. For today, we will start operating tonight. Right now, maybe you should spend your time at the beach first because starting tomorrow, you will be so busy. You can place your bag in the room on the upper floor. There are two room so you can choose how to divide it among yourself.”

“Thank you neesan! Everyone, for room we can divide one room for boys and one room for girls.”

“I agree with you Eri. So, let’s have fun at the beach today. Arima-kun and Kenji, make sure you don’t anything weird.”

“Roger miss!” Takeda senpai and I replied in unison.

After changing to our swimsuit, we go to the beach. Minami brought volleyball from her house. Firstly, we find the empty place and we put our things there. We are playing volleyball after setting up the net. Minami and I are in same team. Fujimiya senpai and Saito senpai are in the same team. That’s how we divide our team. Takeda senpai said he wants to swim first. The loser in volleyball game will have to pay for the drinks. I don’t know if Minami and I will lose badly. Saito senpai and Fujimiya senpai are so good in volleyball. As promised, Minami and I went to convenience store that is not so far from Happy Summer Restaurant.

I can said, sometimes fate is so scary.

“Youta-kun, Minami is that you?”

We are really surprised to find who is calling us.

“Raina? What are you doing here? I thought you are still studying at England?”

“Yes, I am still studying there. How long we have not meet, Youta?”

“Don’t you have something you need to say right now, Raina?”

“What is it Minami? Don’t you see I still talking with Youta now?”

“Sorry Raina. Minami and I need to go right now. Goodbye.”

“Okay fine! You want me to say it right? I am so sorry!”

I can see Minami’s face start to change. She looks so angry right now. Then, she starts walking toward Raina.

“Raina-san, who do you think you are? After what happen last year, did you have reflect on what you have done?!”

“Minami-san, why are you angry with me? That is not one hundred percent my fault, right? All of us are involve in it. Including Kojima too!”

I feel my mind suddenly became blank when she said that. How can she say it like that?

Slap!

Minami is slapping Raina.

“Why are you slapping me, Minami?!”

“Take back your words!!”

“Minami, stop it right now! There are so many people start to look at us.”

I need to stop both before it becomes hard to stop later.

“I will remember this Minami!”

Raina left the place immediately to avoid people’s attention. I brought Minami back to the place where we set up before.

“Arima-kun, Minami-chan what happens at the front of convenience store? I see many people are gathering there.”

“There is a small commotion, Saito senpai. Don’t worry about it.”

“Akemi senpai, I will go back to room first. I suddenly feel tired. :

“Alright, you can take the key for the room from my bag.”

Minami and took the key and went to the room by herself.

“What is happen with Minami-chan, Arima-kun?”

“She just feeling unwell. She did not tell me the reason.”

I decided not to tell her about the incident as this will make, she more worry about us.

“Really? I just hope Minami-chan is alright.”

Takeda senpai just got back from swimming.

“It really feels nice after swimming. Where is Minato-san?”

“She has go back to room, Takeda senpai.”

“Maybe she feels tired. Arima, let’s proceed with our plan now.”

“Yes, sir!”

“Kenji, where do you go?”

“Youta and I will go on journey to become a true man of culture.”

“Takeda senpai!”

“What is it, Arima?”

“I can’t found camera. I also can’t found my smartphone.”

“Don’t worry. We can use my smartphone. Eri, can you give me my smartphone?”

“Sorry, Kenji! I left your smartphone in my room. Arima-kun, yours is on Akemi.”

“Saito senpai, can you give me back my smartphone?”

“Arima-kun, I do not expected you are actually that kind of person.”

“Wait, Saito senpai! I think you misunderstood something here. Right, Takeda senpai?”

“Yes! I think both of you have misunderstood us. We are wanting to take the picture of this beach.”

“So, what do you mean by “man of culture”, Kenji?”

“I just want to use that word because it looks cool. Can you understand now, Eri?”

“I don’t care about it. Let’s go back to our room now. We need to prepare for operating restaurant tonight.”

“Right Eri! Kenji and Arima-kun, please clean this place. Eri and I will go back first.”

“Nice, Akemi! Yes, both of you will clean this place first. Let’s go Akemi!”

“Yeah!”

As they are walking leaving us, Takeda senpai suddenly start laughing.

“Did they think they can stop us by taking our camera and smartphone? Right, Arima?”

“Yes, Takeda senpai! I will bring ‘that’ here right now.”

I go to the tree that is near to convenience store. I bring back ‘that’ to Takeda senpai.

“Nice Arima! Our plan is not in vain. With these two cameras that we bought before come here, we finally become a true man of culture.”

“It will not be possible if I not loss during volleyball game earlier.”

“Are you sure that you not loss on purpose? Then, the loser needs to buy the drink for winner at convenience store.”

“We can leave it at that. Takeda senpai also suddenly go swimming is nice plan. By doing that, we can avoid any weird movement as if I team up with Takeda senpai, they will feel suspicious of us.”

“Hahaha! Right, so, we need to clean this place first before we go to our journey.”

After we clean up the place, we try to find the spot that is suitable for us to proceed with our plan.

“Here is nice spot. We can hide safely without detected by people.”

“Alright!”

Both of us sit on the sand and from the spot we hide, we use a mini camera to find the ‘paradise’ that we are looking for.

“Hear carefully Arima. When you spot ‘paradise’, make sure to take a picture of it. Later in room, we will compare it.”

“Alright sir!”

“Senpai! I found ‘paradise’!”

“Me too! Don’t forget to take a picture of it.”

“Senpai, I feel ‘paradise’ suddenly closer to us.”

“What are you doing here?!”

When I look properly, she is Fujimiya senpai.

“Don’t you know what you are doing now is wrong! I will nag you again after this. Give me that camera.”

“Sorry, miss.”

When we arrive at restaurant, everything already been prepared by Kazuha-san, Saito senpai and Minami.

“I have bring the criminal here. Kenji and Arima-kun, can you tell us the journey to find ‘paradise’ ?”

“We are so sorry! We promise we will not doing that again.”

“As an owner of this restaurant, Takeda Kenji and Arima Youta, both of you will work as dishwasher tonight as a punishment. Make sure you make it clean as possible. Understand?”

“Noted Kazuha-san,” both of us reply in unison.
