Chapter 8:

Program 8: Siblings Fill a Lacuna Beyond Quantum Time

Sister Sensei (S++)

One full week had passed since Sora started being a model for Ryeichi’s artistic endeavour. He had been placed in various different positions for her to sketch and throughout them all, he could tell that she was getting better with drawing shoes in her illustrations. Yet, there was still something racing in the back of his mind. The secret that he and Riku shared. She pretended everything was normal at school between but through text and times when they were alone, his heart raced. Every message he got from her, he instantly replied to. Any command that she gave, he obeyed. When he did as he was told, she rewarded him with a slight tease of her slipping off her shoes in class.

Before long, Sora was unsure of exactly what relationship he had with his childhood friend. Still, he could not help but feel something was wrong with his mind. He needed answers.

“Sorachi.”

Sora was pulled out of his inner thoughts and realised Ryeichi was standing beside him. He had been sitting in a pose that Ryeichi put him in and while he remained still, his mind was lost in thought.

“Uh? Sorry, Ryeichi, I was spaced out a bit. What did you say?”

“I wanted to thank you. Since you took on the role of being my model, I’ve been able to draw better than I had before.”

“I’m glad I could help. If you ever need help with anything else, just let me know and I will do my best.”

“Be my model again,” Ryeichi said with a gleam in her eyes.

“Anything but that.”

“Give me your shoes then.”

“Okay, anything that doesn’t involve me giving up any footwear.”

“Can I have one of those bracelets?”

Sora looked down at his arm where he wore six bracelets that were popular with girls. Three of them were cyan colour and the others a cute shade of pink.

“Yeah, I’m okay with parting with two of them,” Sora said as he removed a cyan and pink bracelet.

After handing the bracelets to Ryeichi, Sora smiled and headed for the door.

“I’ll be heading home now, good luck with your drawings, Ryeichi.”

As Sora exited the art room, he noticed a message from Riku. Opening it quickly, he read through the message and realised that she would be busy hanging out with some friends. She continued on to tell him that he was free to do as he wished until she stopped by his dorm. He replied with a ‘thank you’ and placed his phone in his pocket.

I should visit Doctor Amaki and have her tell me what is wrong with me, Sora thought as he made his way down the flight of stairs.

Heading down the hallway and turning a corner, he was met by a force ramming into his chest. Within an instant, he fall onto the floor and struggled to process what had happened. Upon realising the situation, Sora could see he was in an awkward position. A top him was the short blond girl who he had ran into before.

“Was zum Teufel!”

The girl realised what had happened and cough before speaking in Sora’s native tongue.

“Sorry, it seems we meet again.”

“I wasn’t like watching were I was going, sorryies.”

As the girl sat up, Sora could see that she was dressed in a different outfit and wore a pink of cute pink sandals of which one had managed to slip off her foot slightly. He stood to his feet once she had adjusted herself and he took a moment brush the dirt off his clothes.

“Are you okay, kid?”

Sora failed to process what happened in the blink of an eye. Once he did, he realised he was being pinned against the locker and held up by his skirt collar. The little girl glared up at him with demonic eyes. As he stared into her eyes it appeared as if they were swallowing up the life from within him.

“Zum Teufel hast du mich angerufen?”

Even if he could not understand a word she had said, it was clear to him that he had pissed her off.

“S-Sorry, I just—”

“Listen here you piss of shit. I am Elizabeth Schön-Müller and I am a well-established teacher at his academy. I am not some kid, you Bürgerlicher.”

“You’re a teacher?”

“Yes, now you will show me the respect I am due, Bauer!”

“I’m extremely sorry Miss Sch— Miss Sketchul—”

“Just call me Eliza, you unintelligent plebeian!”

“Miss Eliza, I’m sorry. I didn’t know. Please, I thought you were a student here.”

Eliza released her grip on Sora and crossed her arms over her chest. He could see that she was still mad and not going to let it go. Like an anime character who act pompous, she brushed her hair to the side and stared into his eyes.

“Get down on your knees and kiss my foot. Then maybe I’ll forgive you.”

Sora wanted to say something but considering what he had just suffered, there was no reason to argue with her. Dropping to his knees, he watched as Eliza slipped off her sandal and held out her foot. Her toenails were the colour of midnight and perfectly manicured toes made him start feel his fireball skill levelling up. Kissing the top of her foot gently, he could start to smell a sweet aroma of a vague cherry scent. The lotion she had used had kept her feet soft and while he was ensure as to what the exact brand was, there was no denying that it was expensive.

Looking up to meet her gaze, Sora could see a sadistic grin on Eliza’s face. It was clear that she was enjoy watching him be nothing more than a dog. He continued to kiss her foot until he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Looking in the direction of the sound, he could see Reina standing there with a scowl on her face.

“Eliza, how many times do we have to tell you to stop abusing students?”

“Ruhiges Fräulein ohne Beine.”

Sora watched as his sister appeared from around the corner with a cheerful expression on her face. As he held Eliza’s foot in his hand, he could feel her toes curl at the sight of his sister. She was terrified.

“Hime, would you mind translating what our dear Eliza said, please?”

“I believe she told you to be quiet, Miss No Legs,” Hime giggled as she looked to Eliza.

“Is that so?”

“Mach mich nicht so fertig, Hime.”

“Probably should be careful what you say then, sweetie. Now, would you kindly let my little brother go. Unless of course you’re planning to pander to his foot fetish.”

“Hime! Stop telling people about my fetish!”

Sora could feel Eliza pull her foot away with haste. He looked up to she her with a look of disgust on her face. As she slipped her petite foot back into her sandal she turned away like a noble girl who was entitled.

“Disgusting pig. You don’t deserve to touch my feet or even beholden their immaculate beauty. Humph!”

Without another word, Eliza walked off as Sora stood to his feet. He was unsure of what to make of the situation that transpired.

“Sorry about her. She needs to learn that just because she is a thirteen-year-old genius does not mean she can bully students,” Reina said.

“I find her rather charming. How many kids her age can say they have a master’s degree from the University of Oxford?”

“W-Wait… she has a master’s degree and she’s only thirteen?” Sora asked a bit dumbfounded.

“I mean, I got my doctorate at fifteen. Rei, when did you get yours?”

“Like in my twenties or something. I actually forget because I did not think much of that degree.”

“Anyway, you okay bro? Or did you want to keep worshipping her feet?” Hime teased.

“I’m pretty sure she hates me after that.”

“Oh, no, she definitely likes you.”

“Sis, Harvard must have screwed with your vocabulary because that is not what she said.”

“Trust me, she is actually interested in you. Eliza is the textbook example of a tsundere and entitled narcissist.”

“Okay, that’s great but I’m not into little girls.”

“Should I add her to the harem?” Hime teased.

“No!”

“All right, well, we need to head to the staff meeting, Hime.”

“Right. Laters, bro.”

Without another word, Hime and Reina left as Sora looked at the time on his phone. He realised it was close to the time that the school nurse would be closed. Rushing down the hallway, he turned the corner to bump into something again. Taking a moment to process what he hit, he realised Emily was standing in front of him.

“Oh, Miss Amaki. Good, I need to speak with you. It’s… uh… important.”

Miss Amaki pulled out the phone she used for communication and typed out a message.

“Can we talk in the nurse’s office? I just… I think something is wrong with me.”

There was a sense of fear in Sora’s voice that Emily could pick up on. With a simple nod, she led him to the office and turned the lights back on. She gestured for him to take a seat and remained silent while Sora struggled to figure out what to say. For six long minutes, he was unsure of what to say before he began to speak. He continued to talk about everything that had happened from the dream to all the feelings that were going through his mind. In less than ten minutes he had spilled his heart out and every single secret to the silent girl that continued to listen without judgement.

Sora started to breathe a bit faster as he waited for Emily to type something on her phone, gesture with her hands or write something down. She finally pointed to the bed without any sort of message. He simply made his way over to the bed and slipped off his slippers as he sat down on the bed. Emily gestured for him to lay back as she removed her boots.

“Uh, Miss—”

Emily placed a finger over Sora’s lips. She grabbed a sleep mask from the end table and placed it over his eyes. In that moment, he could no longer see anything. His anticipation grew as he felt Emily start to straddle the top half of his body and gripped his wrist firmly. He could feel her pin his arms above his head, while his body and mind tensed up with anticipation over what was going to happen.

Sora closed his legs as his breathing started to increase. All his senses were scattered and in disarray over what Emily was going to do. The feeling fingers poking his underarms forced him to giggle out like a girl as he rushed to cover his mouth. He squirmed as he felt Emily’s fingers continued to poke him in his second most sensitive area. After a few seconds, he felt her get off of him and he removed the blindfold covering his eyes.

“What was that for?” Sora asked.

Emily grabbed her phone and began typing before showing it to Sora.

“You’re perfectly normal, Sora. What you are feeling is commonly seen in masochists. In simple terms, you enjoy having others control you.”

“W-What?”

Emily typed again.

“There is nothing wrong with you. You’re just a normal sixteen-year-old boy with a huge sex drive. Nothing to be worried about. Now as to why you feel this way is only my speculation as I am not a psychologist but my guess is it stems from your need to feel attached to someone. My guess is when Hime left, you felt abandoned and needed someone to depend on. Trust me, as a doctor, there is nothing wrong with you and you should enjoy it. Explore your desires, with proper consent of course.”

Sora thought about the words Emily had typed on her phone. He was normal? Was he truly normal? He watched as Emily type another message.

“Just stay safe and if you have any questions please reach out and ask me. I’ll even give you my number if you feel unsure about something.”

Emily navigated her phone and showed Sora her phone number.

“Miss Amaki, thank you so much for listening. It really means a lot,” Sora said as he saved the number to his contacts list.

Emily type again on her phone.

“Please, just call me Emi or Doc. Either is fine.”

Removing the lollipop from her mouth, Emily smiled.

“Please, keep looking after my sister. She means… a lot to me.”

Emily nodded. After saying good bye, Sora rushed to shoe-lockers. Changing out of his slippers, he put on his shoes and was about to leave before noticing Aruto standing at the exit. She smiled as she stood there twirling her hair.

“Yo, Aruto. Like you just get done with clubs or something?” Sora asked as his foot into the shoe.

“Well, actually, I’ve been waiting here for you. I wanted to ask you something.”

Sora closed his shoe-locker and pulled out his phone as he noticed a message from one of the applications. Ignoring the message, he placed his phone back in his coat pocket.

“So, watup?” Sora asked.

“I just wanted to ask if you wanted to maybe go on a date with me this Sunday,” Aruto said as she twirled the tip of her hair.

“Sure girl, I’m down for that. We could go to a movie or something.”

“Uh, okay. That could be fun,” Aruto said with a smile.

Sora and Aruto walked down the street together before coming to the girl’s dorms. The third-year girl’s dorms were similar to the boys in the layout and size of the rooms.

“Hey, Sora, would you like to come up to my room for a bit?” Aruto asked with a smile as she twirled the tips of her hair.

“Nah. Sorry, I plan to do some studying. Text ’chu laters,” Sora said as he held up a peace sign.

Making his way over to the boy’s dormitory, he headed up to his room noticed his sister laying on the couch. He slipped off his shoes and noticed something that took him by surprise.

“I’m surprised to see my older sister using an OrangeBook Pro. I thought you hated them with a passion.”

Sora made his way to his room and started to slip off his socks. He started changing out of his school uniform and into his causal clothes.

“Oh, I still do. The school provided me with a free laptop for work and I’ve been tempted to reinstall something like Nyuntu or my preferred Arc Lynx but Lynx isn’t exactly compatible with some software. The school wants everyone to be on the same operating system so…”

“So, you’re forced to use that operating system.”

“Technically, Lynx isn’t an operating system but yeah, we all have to be on the same software and it is a pain.”

Sora noticed that he did not have any shirts.

“Hey, sis, Did you do something to my shirts?”

“Oh right, I threw everything into the wash. You can have my Harvard tee-shirt,” Hime called out as she threw the shirt into his room.

The shirt was a simple crimson colour with the Harvard University logo on the front. On the back of the shirt, he could see the names of all the students that graduated from the doctoral class. Among the names he managed to find his sister’s name. Once he was finished changing, he exited out into the living room. He was ready to learn more about programming and even made sure he had read a few chapters ahead of what his sister had assigned him.

“Are we going to study more programming?”

“Sorry, little bro, I can’t. I need to work out the class project with the other teachers.”

“I can’t wait to see you work in action.”

“Don’t get your hopes too high. Remember, it’s not that glamorous. In fact, I’ll likely have most of my job done before the day of the project.”

“Can I watch you and the others work?”

“That could actually be a good way for you to understand design thinking and methodologies, as well as working with a team.”

Hime pulled out her phone as she began navigating the menu while using her other hand to type information into the laptop application she was using. Watching his sister work so passionately for her students and him was something that made him feel happiness. She was now in his life and changing his outlook in positive direction.

“Hey sis.”

“Hmm?”

“I’m glad we decided to work on something together. It has helped a lot. So, thank you.”

Sora hugged his sister tightly as she tried to hug him back.

“I love you too, little brother. I’m glad I decided to apply for a teaching job here. It was the best thing for the both of us.”
