What was his first mistake?

Man, it's too early, I really just want to sleep again...

But even after turning off my alarm, the thoughts kept on pestering me as I lied in bed. Miu...

Argh that girl! I was late yesterday because of her. The karaoke was practically over when I arrived. But at least we still had time to go to the bar.

But still, what happened with her? Where is she going? Which school is she transferring to? What does Shuu has to do any of this? And what did she mean by proving her that I love her? 

I held my phone over my head above me and opened our chat. There I asked all those questions, but it didn't get through to her because she blocked me. So, how am I suppose to prove my love then? 

Agh man... 

I scrolled up a bit and the last message before my barrage of questions to her was her message that she had to talk with me yesterday. And before that was our conversation on Thursday, where we talked about going out together on Saturday. Before that the messages were just Miu asking me how I've been and her inviting me to go out with her, to which I rejected most of the time. 

Was it truly my fault she cried and left and all that? 

Arghhh!! What am I supposed to do?

All I know is I can't simply just ignore her. After all... I owe her everything... 

Suddenly a break in the melancholic atmosphere, a notification pop upped on the top of my screen, "Heyy guyss ♡ ! Good morning!! :D We're going out again this afternoon, right?"

I switched to the chat with Rei-kun and the other. 

Messages from the others followed Yuzuha-chan's text, "Yeaa!!" "Yep." "Of course. It's holiday" "Yoo let's go!!!"

"Yeaaah ♡!  Wait where's Ki-kun? Ki-kun, you there?"

"He's probably still asleep lol."

"I'm here lol. Yeah, I'm down!" 

"Niceee ♡"  "Let's Go!!!" They replied. 

Let's go! I'm excited for the hangout. It's fun being with Rei-kun and the others. I get to be with so many people and they all like me. But... 

Even during the hangout yesterday, my mind kept on reminding me of what just happened a moment before. 

Arghhh- whatever man, thinking about it hurts. I'll think about it again some other time. Maybe I'll go to her house or something. Ah, whatever. Imma just prepare for the hangout later. 

It's still 30 minute early, I guess I'm a bit too excited. Whatever, I'll just wait in front of the restaurant. I've never actually been there. I don't think any of us has. I mean, Hamazaki just told us about this place for our lunch together today. As well as the bar later.

Oh, Yuzuha-chan is there already. Oh, she saw me.

"Ki-kun !!! ♡" she shouted from a distance while raising her hand and coming closer to my direction. Maybe a bit too close, as she wrapped her arm around my neck.  "You're pretty early."

I could feel her chest pressing in on mine as her body leaned on me. I know it's a friendly gesture, but it's still kinda uncomfortable. "Ye-yeah, I can say the same for you too. I guess, I just got a bit too excited" 

"Well, that makes the both of us, huh?"

"Y-yeah, haha..." 

We chatted there in front of the café, while we waited for the others. Kei-kun came next and we went in ahead of the others, but refrain from ordering. Once all five of us were there, we started ordering. 

"We would like to take our order."

"Can someone take order for table 12 please? Shina-san, can you?"
"Sorry, I have to bring a meal for table 3. Rana-san?"
"I can't, I'm busy with table 15. Can someone else do it?"

"Bro, what's taking them so long," Kei-kun grew impatient, "I'm starving, especially after having to wait for Hamasaki."
"Hey, I already apologized for it. It was my mom's fault. She kept on stopping me from going out, cuz she had already planned for us to go out together with my dad and my siblings."
"Man, I don't care what happened on your end, we had to wait because of you."
"Sheesh, chill bro." 

"Donto worry, I'll take their order," a voice from one of the waitress caught my attention.

"Thank's Nishikawa!" one of the earlier waitresses said out loud.

"I gotchuu"

Nishikawa... have I heard the name before? It sounds really familiar... Nishikawa... Is that one of my neighbors?

"Heyy, heyy, what's all the fuss going on here. Friends should be nice to each other," I was so focused on the Kei-kun and Hamasaki's debate that I got shocked as this Nishikawa person stood beside our table. It seems Nishikawa overheard he the dispute between Kei-kun Hamasaki.

"Mind your own business," both Kei-kun and Hamasaki exclaimed to him, not wanting to hear anything more, especially from someone they don't even know. 

"My, my, what a feisty group we have here," he made a snarky remark.  

Why does this person talk so weirdly and straightforward like that, especially to his customers. Is this how the normal waiters behave here?

But now that I take a take a look at his face, he looks like someone I have met before, but I'm not sure who. Or maybe it's just deja vu. His accent though... no... wait, actually, it's the way he talks... straight forward and kinda energetic...

"Bro, why are you talking like some weird character? Is there a problem with you?" Kei-kun was completely annoyed by Nishikawa's behavior. 

Like a character... 

"Nopee, no problems at all."

 Problems... Wait. Always getting into problems with other people... Wait, wait, wait. No way...

"I'm just playing with ya guyss, having a bit of fun, yknoww. After all, it's been a while, huh, Ki-kun."

Shuu?! Shuu Nishikawa?!?!
