Chapter 3:

That night the raven flew out of the cage

Light through my window

And day after day flew by in my confinement, but that young lady appeared every day and every day her song became sadder, as if calling out to someone important and not receiving an answer. After watching her, I realize that her expression was always invariably cold and that she had incredible willpower. Each time her melody became more and more confident, losing the awkwardness that I saw earlier. And surprisingly, the glow around it continued to increase, but the people around did not seem to notice this. And there were more and more light circles after each of her performances. At this rate, I continued to lead my helpless and unchanging life, continuing to read books and train with my blade, eat and sleep.

Time passed, the phases of the moon changed each other, having passed half a turn. And then that dark day came. It happened on a new moon. The young lady decided to stay late that day and after her game she continued to stand and wait hear the big tree. On that day, for the first time, I saw emotions on her face and these are the emotions that I absolutely do not want to see on such pretty face.

Crystal clear tears flowed down her cheeks and an impossible sadness reflected on her face. She silently  screamed and seemed to start howling at the moon, repeating the action of some wild beast. I had a desire to repeat after her, share her feeling and the burden of this young lady.

Suddenly I sensed darkness, I learned to sense bad intention as I practiced with the blade.          Starting slowly look around the street: A tree, a park, a apartment, a grocery store, a bakery. My eyes went further down the road and I saw them: Three creatures in metallic knight armor, two armed with spears and one with a sword. Slowly crawl out of the portal.

"Here you are 'princess'"- The muffled voice of the space bar echoed down the street, but the sounds didn't seem to disturb the people around. They slowly walked towards her.

I quickly shifted my gaze to her and saw that instead of a stringed instrument she had a bow in her hand, and behind  her back, instead of a case, there was a quiver with arrows. It became clear to me that something out of the ordinary was happening here, I rushed to the closet, threw my cloak and grabbed the blade. As fast as I can , made window open and slipped out of it on adrenaline without thinking about harm in can cause to my body.

The only thought was in my head:

"I have to save her , no matter what!"-after landing  surprisingly soft from the second floor, I quietly  slipped behind a nearby tree and began to assess the situation.

They moved towards her with arrogance and self-confidence:

"Well-well, I recommend that you put your holy artifact down, you don't want to hurt anyone, didn't you, princess? Even if you have enough courage to shoot one or two of us, but the rest gonna achieve our goal, and trust me , you gonna pay for every death caused here" .                    Drawing my blade from its scabbard, I reflected a small  beam of light to let her know that I was there and ready to help. But there was no guarantee that she had noticed me, or that they did not notice me, and there was yet a question: would i be even able to help in such unbelievable situation?

I began to slowly count in my head:

 "ten... nine... eight... seven..."
