Town of Beginners Mallet Town!

While they are walking something is whistling around the bush they prepare for battle.

Yska: something is coming toward us stay alert.

Kaito: ok i heard it too its on the bush.

A wild plant monster appears a “brocolliguru” a class e brocolli like plant monster. Class e monsters are not that harmful to humans they only attack when provoke and to defend themselves.

Kaito: *sigh* i thought its another powerful monster again im kinda having quite a jumpscare on bushes now.

Yska: count that us luck because if we got delayed because of monsters attack your friend will not make it.

Gaijin: gaijin is the name.. yska-chan.. *passed out*

Kaito: *laughs* you’re very lively for an injured man gaijin dont worry were closed to the town.

After a while they saw the entrance of the town and the guard towers. They immediately call the guards to help them carry gaijin on their horse wagon. They ride the wagon and went to the infirmary. They told the doctor what happen and treated gaijin his condition is stable now after the blood transfer.

Yska: okay! guess im done here. My conscience is now clear i gotta go see you’ll later.

Kaito: yeah thanks yska you save our lives goodluck to your journey.

Yska: okay thanks! Goodluck too

*yska leaves and head out to the capital*

Kaito: *sobbing* she didnt even ask my name. *sobbing*

Gaijin: *giggles* atleast i say my name even i die. she smells so nice.

Kaito: damn you gaijin i knew it the whole time you pretend to passed out and to just lean your head towards her.

Gaijin: *laughs* you gonna do what you gonna do before you die if your on my place.

Kaito: *sigh* nevermind i bet we can see her again someday if she’s  going to the capital there’s only one thing thats is happening there right now. The magic school is about to start.

Gaijin: yeah sadly i think im not gonna make it there with you. My ribs are all broken and i dont think it will heal in a week. Remember the old timer told us the reason why other adventurers cant find the magic school is because there’s  specific time the magic academy is available to enter. Its not like we arrive at a building and write our name as student.

Kaito: sorry i cant protect you. My uncle suggest to accompany us but i refuse i think im strong enough because i can fight all the class e monsters. I didnt think the possibility of the strong monster lurking.

Gaijin: its okay im just glad we dont die *laughs* *coughs a little blood* plus its a bum if your uncle escort us and some ladies saw us like a pampered little boy right?

Kaito: *laughs* you still think about girls in that condition huh. To be honest i feel so weak my punch and kick didnt even move the monster. Even the rock dont work. I really need to get to the magic school. *determined*

Gaijin: yeah maybe i can go with you next time. *sigh* imagine how many cute girls is in the magic school with their really short mini shirt. *heart eyes* and you got to seat next to one.

Kaito: *laughs* youre imagining got really “wild” huh. Just get better fast or maybe you will be better if a lady nurse takes care of you.

Gaijin: thats should be the dream! Darn im looking forward to get my weapon today my im a coward if i just run fast enough that monster wont reach us.

Kaito: its okay i feel the real fear too its just youre the closest and i think that thing is already set to attack us even we run it will chase us. But what happen happens. I just sent a letter to your family to let them know you’re hurt.

Gaijin: okay thank you kaito. You should go now i think the ceremony is about to start. Ill catch up to you later.

Kaito: *sigh* its hard to leave you here knowing we talk about this day since were like 10 years old.

Gaijin: dont worry im not dead yet we will meet again go on with your life hope you catch some pretty gals! *wink wink*

Kaito: *teary* okay pal thanks and get better fast.

*Kaito leaves the infirmary*

*meanwhile while they’re talking about the magic school the mysterious patient on the other bed heard all of that and smirks* 

Kaito: *big sigh* *inner thought* i need to be better fast so i can protect my friend and my love ones cant be like this anymore getting saved by a gild my age.

~Kaito saw adventurers heads to the plaza the center of the town where the ceremony of picking up weapons is being held.

Kaito: damn is it already starting?

Announcer: okay young adventurers boys and girls around the age of 16 and up gather to the middle of the plaza! The day has come to be a man and lady apparently our town hall cant accommodate you all this years aspiring adventurer is doubled! Cheers for prosperity and to s better life!

*crowd cheering*

~About 500 young adventurers gather at the town plaza from different town’s and villages of zone c.

Announcer: today you will now allowed to pick up your weapon turn your lives around! It can help you all to do guild quests quickly and defeat monster easily. I know most know you guys cant afford weapons and we cant too. Because we leave in zone c the poorest of the zone. But we live freely free of tax and greed of the upperclass. Unlike them with their fancy sword and armors made my famous blacksmiths of the guild. We got our weapon from different area of the kingdom. We comb all the site and dungeon to pick up the weapon of the our fallen comrades. Thats all we can do for you we risk our lives getting you all weapons and some armors for free. Thats the spirit of the zone c we all want to have better lives and it will all start now! After this you can go wherever you want live to the other zone if you can afford the rent and taxes, go to the capital to study and became professional. We just hope you dont you it as a tool of crime or pawned it though!

*Crowd laughs*

Announcer: okay! Without further a do! Bring out the weapons boys!

*10 the guards began to crank a pulley system from underground*

*Crowd surprised*

Adventurer 1: whoa thats so cool!

Adventurer 2: that thing must be very heavy.

Adventurer 3: some of the are quite rusty. I bet some are still have blood on it or worst body parts *laughs*

Kaito: *amused* that should be enough for all of us.

Announcer: here comes the giant tarp! The weapons are just place on the wood and some tarp as you all can see if you’re new hear. This ceremony happens every year wonder why some are not surprise. We just add some of the latest new weapons and armor we find. Dont be too excited you guys cant just storm the thing! We pick it 1 by 1 so if you already have a weapon in mind its all sort out of category as you can see. From one or two handed sword, axe, mace, knives, dagger, bow, spear etc. On armor we got some leather armor, full plate, padded, cloak and hoods soaked with blood.

*Crowd laughs*

Kaito: *laughs* this announcer is hilarious.

Announcer: okay lets start! go line up you just got a minute to pick made up your mind now while your still on the line. I bet some of you already have their weapon of choice since their kid. We got about 3000 different kind of weapons and armors here. This event will be over by 6pm if you want to chance you can do it before 6pm. The time now is 12:30 pm we have around 5 hours.

Kaito lineup and think what weapon he really wants.

Kaito: *inner thought* since i need to harvest monster too maybe i need some sharp weapon. But i need to fight some evil humans too at some point and i need some protection too from sharp claws of the monsters.

Announcer: okay the first 1 come forward!

The adventurer already have a weapon in his mind. He immediately goes toward the two-handed sword section and picks up a claymore.

Announcer: Hmm not a bad choice but you gotta train to swing heavy sword like that young fella! Small trivia! 2-handed sword is good for fighting easy target large monsters the heavy blade and the strength power of the user can easily penetrate mostly of the monster but if its too heavy for you. You cant swing it fast enough or miss the target. Monsters will have opportunity to attack you while you are defenseless. You will die and we will discover your weapon at some point.

*Crowd laughs*

Announcer: okay next!

The adventurers goes on and pick up their weapons for about 2 hours. Then kaito turns finally comes!

Kaito approach the weapons gallery. He first pick up a dagger then a mace.

Announcer: *sleepy* *saw kaito pick up another weapon* *surpised* The first adventurer to pick up two weapons! Its an odd choice does he fight with mace and dagger? Or the dagger is for harvesting the monster what an advance knowledge and picking up two weapon is not illegal too! Just dont sell that young fella! What a smart adventurer! Who needs to buy one when you can get it for free here right?

*Crowd laughs*

Kaito: phew! What a day i cant wait to tell gaijin what happen here before i travel to the capital.
