Transition

"The time has come."-sigh Oberon , after we finished telling about our journey.

'What do you mean?"- Asked Aurelia with puzzled look on her face, the question we all wanted to ask. She looked at Dita and she nodded with her head. They both got a mirror and a bowl. Oberon answered:

"It's time for us to go."- They both started to pour energy into their artifacts. Two lights appeared, one with and another one is black, they fully covered artifacts.

"What is going on?"- I asked and felt the pain in my heart.

"Don't go... Master."- Aurelia started crying.

"Human bodies are fortunately not eternal."-Oberon smiled.

"We have violated the pact, delivered by the strongest beings of the universe."- Said Dita.

"Changing the fate of every dimension is not an affordable luxury, but it worth it."-Oberon's laughter echoed around the room.

"We can no longer hide you from the forces of this world, but we gonna watch after you, even when our bodies will disappear. Young master and young madam, we believe that you can change this cruel world. And we are truly sorry for giving such undoable task."-Dita looked at us sadly.

"We will give you our powers, and you two will not be limited by the laws of this world created by these old monsters. Decide your fate by yourself, and let others choice their fate too."-Madness was visible in Oberon's eyes. And they both, Dita and Oberon started to shine.

"I am Dita, governess of the Doy family, passing on the powers of the lord of darkness to the rightful heir!"-A beam of darkness hit me from the goblet.

"I am Esmeralda Oberon, the great sorceress of the stopped world, I transmit the power of the ruler of the light to the rightful heir!"-A beam of light hit Aurelia from the mirror. And they both started disappearing:

"Farewell my students/masters."-Said Dita and Oberon in the same moment. They both disappeared, the people who have guided us all our lives disappeared in the blink of an eye. And left us with the daunting task of what kind of monsters were they talking? That even they two couldn't deal with them. We sat and watched as their last bits disappeared. Aurelia sobbed, I hugged her. Now we're only people left for each other.

With the help of magic, we made monuments to them near the hut, and made feeders so that they would not be lonely. Many animals gathered here and looked at the statues, as if understanding something. We bowed and set off. 

We returned to the dragon realm and he sat in a clearing of dust:

"You are back, it looks like these two splinters will never be able to interfere in my battles again."-He didn't look happy, he looked sad. He wasn't sad when he lost his son, but now , why? And Aurelia answered on my voiceless question:

"You loved my master, right?"-she asked in a bold manner. Dragon ruler laugh:

"Young girl, you see right through me. But it's not gonna stop me, from killing both of you. But as memory of my love, I will answer on all of your questions, will we fighting."- He stand and prepared to launched at us his deadly fire. I extended my hand and created a shadow that completely engulfed the fire. He looked at us in surprise and laughed:

"Esmeralda, how could you think of such madness."-He created his gigantic form of dark fire, but then shrunk to original size:

"It seems, I don't need to succumb, let's look what you two get from her."- And her rushed at us with unexpected speed. Aurelia created an armor with shape of arrow from light and intercepted his blow:

"What was the pact?"

"The pact is a fate of every strong living creature and that no matter what no one can change it."-He replied pushing her away. And I was already behind him, attacking, also being in armor, but only weaved from darkness:

"Who is monsters, created the pact?"

"She called them monster, hah, so in her style. These are the higher beings that created all the worlds."- He deflected my sword.

"How can we beat them?"- Aurelia flew up from the other side.

"Beat them? There was no incident when mages ,dragons, demons, vampires, angels or especially humans beat them. Only other monsters can beat them."- Answered ruler with a smile, catching our attack.

"And how can we became monsters?"- I asked while stopping.

"There was no such clues, but in theory, collecting seven highest powers, you already have five, mine will be sixth and you can guess last."-Suddenly the sky opened up, like butter was cut in two equals half and purple lightning strike in our direction. The dragon lord threw us aside, throwing me a ring:

"My time is up, so be it, Esmeralda, I'll play along with your crazy plan."

He caught lightning and began to break down into particles:

"Kids go away."-And we went into a portal. We felt that he died and his world died too. He sacrificed it and himself hoping that crazy idea of his beloved would work.

"So we have to collect the last strength of the soul."- Aurelia said with sadness and fear:

"Can we actually deal with such monsters?"-I pulled her close and kissed:

"We must, for those who fall along the way."-She looked at me, wiping away her tears:

"I'm so glad that I have you."-And it stabbed me in the heart, because she got into this mess for looking for me.

"Don't make that face! Wrong thoughts entered your head."- She smacked me in the head and then kissed:

"We create one whole. When we are separated, we will always miss the heart and we will feel alone,  even when we are not alone, believe me."- I drove away every single intrusive though and opened my heart. And we became one, as it was intended. Our energy mixed up and our souls began to fill. We began to feel peace and happiness...
