Chapter 25:

One of the Isekai Tropes

Becoming the Principal of Isekai School

Eiji sat in his work chair. His blank stare hit the ceiling of his office room.

That man had yet to finish the draft of his speech, even though more and more papers were scattered on the table.

"Enjoy your meal, sir." A pair of hands suddenly placed a large bowl in front of the principal, who almost fell over from the shock. "Please, Kyoko…."

The kunoichi stood up from her crouch in front of the desk, sticking out her tongue slightly at her boss. "Please eat it, sir."

The principal looked at the bowl of ramen with dark brown soup on the table. He could smell the savory aroma of that thing. "I already told you. I'll eat later."

"Then the noodles will be soggy." The kunoichi used chopsticks to scoop up the steaming noodles, then blew on them.

"Errr…." Eiji was sure that Kyoko bent her body like that to show her cleavage more. The blowing with the overly breathy voice must also have a specific purpose. "I can feed myself, Kyoko."

"I insisted." The kunoichi avoided Eiji's hand, then put the food into the principal's mouth.

He was forced to slurp and chew the noodles. "Fine, I'll eat, but I beg you, don't do that again."

The kunoichi bent even more, put her elbows on the table, and tucked her chin into her palms. "Too bad, even though I wanted to make a nice gesture. Well, but I have to fulfill your orders as my master."

The principal was still not used to Kyoko seducing like that in this professional setting.

"But you often disobey my orders." Eiji slurped his noodles again.

"Yeah, I feel this condition makes me more lenient. There is no need to always be alert or think about dangerous missions." The kunoichi shrugged. "So, I feel much more relaxed. No need to always obey the rules because the consequences are not so severe. You won't whip me dozens of times if I'm caught breaking the rules even a little."

Eiji put his chopsticks in the bowl. Looks like he's really starving because that ramen is almost finished in no time. "Is that good?"

"Very good. And do you know what makes this place even better?" The kunoichi moved to Eiji's side, then whispered so close to his face. "You."

Eiji shuddered because the kunoichi's breath tickled his ear. That man gulped down the soup in his bowl to hide his reaction.

Instead of breaking away from the principal, Kyoko ran her fingers into Eiji's arm. This time the young man couldn't move at all. Her touch felt like arousing every nerve in him, but at the same time, froze his joints.

Eiji didn't know if it was because his brain couldn't think straight or because this female ninja used her special skill.

"Hey….." Kyoko moved her head to the other side of Eiji's head, and while doing that, she breathed so close to the skin on the back of the principal's neck. The young man's mind was even more messed up because of that. "What must I do to melt your heart, Sakazaki-san?"

This woman is too dangerous.

"Well, I know the answer to my question." She slowly rubbed the principal's body from the right chest down to that man's thigh. "Because you are confused about who to choose."

"Thank you for the food!" Eiji managed to force his palm to clap hard. "As usual, your food is delicious, Kyoko!"

The female ninja laughed so hard that she arched her body back. "I can't get enough of that expression."

"Please, Kyoko." Eiji massaged his forehead. "I need to finish the draft of this speech soon."

"Looks like I failed again." Kyoko shrugged with a wry smile. "Alright, alright. I'll get out of here."

"Good night." The principal breathed a sigh of relief when that woman started walking towards the door. "And I remind you once again. Don't surprise me like that."

The kunoichi paused, then glanced at her superior. "Don't think I'm giving up, Sakazaki Eiji. I have never failed in any mission. And this is my personal mission."

The principal sighed again. "Seriously, I've never met a woman as bold as you, Kyoko."

Not that Eiji had experience with a lot of women, though.

The kunoichi's mouth formed a smirk, then she waved and left the room.

Eiji shook his head, taking out a new piece of paper to write on. But when he was about to move his pen, he froze instead.

"Damn you, Kyoko." The principal groaned. Because of the arrival of that woman just now, he couldn't think of any ideas.

The seconds turned to minutes. The paper was never filled with a single word. Finally, he gave up and got up from his seat.

He may need to rest a little.

He moved to the window and opened it, enjoying the cool night breeze. That man found a point of light in the distance. It looks like Anneth and Rae are out on their walk again.

Eiji was thinking, is it okay for him to have a romantic relationship in this situation when they are preparing those potential heroes? But he and the others probably must stay in that place forever. This school program is long-term. After the students graduate, Eiji and his staff must handle the next batch of candidates.

Can he go on working for years without thinking about a relationship?

The light from Anneth's magic ball was getting further away, making Eiji only see an empty land highlighted by darkness and a few starlights.

"Damn…." He scratched his head. When contemplating how his love life will be, the faces of Sienna, Kyoko, Vero, and even Aline, appear in his head.

So, is what Kyoko said true? He didn't do anything because so many women surrounded him?

Maybe. But perhaps it happened in Eiji's subconscious, and he only realized it now.

He never chose those people based on gender. It just so happened that most of them were women. But why does he seem stuck in the general trope in Isekai stories, where the protagonist has many love interests?

The principal slapped his cheeks hard before his thoughts ran wild.

The room's door was knocked again from outside, and Eiji responded as usual. "Come in."

The sound of the door creaking filled the quiet room. Instead of going in, someone stuck her head in. "I-I hope I didn't bother you."

Her hair is pink and in a big braid. Aline Paquette. Another crazy woman.
