~The day after.

*kaito prepares for the caravan to the capital*

Kaito: gaijin im leaving now, the caravan must be gathering now at the plaza.

Gaijin: okay take care and goodluck to your journey!

*kaito leaves and proceed to the town’s plaza*

Kaito: *amused* woah caravan is huge there’s about 300 people in here.

The caravan consist of different adventurer from the zone c that wants to get to the capital safely as possible. So they formed a caravan so they can easily defend each other from monster in the trail that will takes 2 days of traveling the dangerous road.

The adventurers in the caravan are opportunistic merchants with their handcarts that have business and in the capital or just sell and provide goods for the caravan, hunters and trapper that have a quest to hunt specific monsters mats or just hunt on sight and sell the mats to the capital for big profits, newbies that wants to enter the magic school and some mercenaries that have some “business” in the capital city. Some young adventurer recruit an escort guard to defend them from monsters. They are mostly from a family of the upper class in the town.

The merchants starts their business on the spot. They can do business anytime because their product is just on their carts, they sell almost all things under the sun. From equipments, survival kits, clothing, food, tents etc.

Kaito: im alone and dont have any tools or food that i need in the journey i guess i can just hunt food on the way. I just need some water container i guess. The 2 gold coin that my uncle and aunt gave me will come in handy now.

*Kaito went to the merchant that sells water container*

Kaito: how much for water container sir? Just one made by bamboo.

Merchant: only 1 silver coin young man!

Kaito: ok here sir!

*gives 1 gold coin*

Merchant: cha-ching! Here’s your water bottle young man! If you gonna carry that much it will be difficult for you to fight. You must have a sack bag atleast its a adventurer 101 you know!

Kaito: i think thats fair enough i dont like my things swings around while traveling and fighting i guess.. how much for the sack bag sir?

Merchant: just 1 silver coin again sir! As you can see my store name is 1 silver coin. *laughs*

Kaito: oww i didn’t notice its painted on your cart. *laughs*

Merchant: are a newbie young man? You must need some monster guide book too. I got some here so you can study the monster and its weakness as well as its valuable mats that you can make profit from. It also have a map of our kingdom and it is made by the guild’s surveyors it have some survival guide too.

Kaito: *amused* wow really sir? Yeah i want one sir, that can be really useful for my journey.

Merchant: you wont regret it young man! Here you go! Thank you and goodluck on your journey!

Kaito: yeah thank you too sir i got all my needs on your newbie 101 shop. Are you gonna travel with us pulling your cart?

Merchant: yeah im a traveling merchant you know and my goods are from the capital actually. Im gonna restock some goods there and do some business.

Kaito: *surprised* that must be a hard job sir. You are vulnerable for monster ambush while pulling your cart.

Merchant: dont worry young man im a class c adventurer you know. The monsters in this area is not that strong compare to monster on the further region. You can look at the known monsters and boss monsters on the guide book too.

Kaito: okay sir im gonna read this monster guide book from cover to cover!

*the caravan about to start*

Commander: alright! Everyone listen! I’m commander wasp! I’m the one who will lead this caravan to the capital city. If you dont want to die on the road you should follow my command. This is not going to be a walk in the park our lives is on the line here. I need everybody cooperation for this journey.

Everyone: sir! Yes sir!

The caravan starts and everyone line up and choose where part of the caravan they want to go. There’s 3 parts of caravan the front where the commander and the majority of guards is placed this is the first contact if they encounter monsters they will paved the way for the caravan. Then the middle part its consist of the play safe adventurer mostly newbies that dont want to deal with the monsters. Middle part is the most secure part of the caravan they just need to be aware of the ambush of the monster on their side.

Lastly the back of the caravan where there’s few guards and consist of merchants because of their slow paced of walking due to their heavy handcarts and mercenaries that wants to be hidden this part of the caravan is most likely to have a crime. If you got robbed and threatened with a dagger your scream wont help you and the caravan will continue.

*the caravan starts to move*

Townsfolk begin to cheer and wish them goodluck

Kaito decide to go on the middle part most safe part of the caravan. While he was reading the monster guide book. He bumps into another newbie adventurer. Unfortunately its a man at his age.

Kaito: sorry! i just got distracted while reading book.

Unknown man: thats ok im kinda distracted too. *looking at the ladies passing by in the caravan*.

Kaito: *laughs* i see you’re man of the culture as well huh. Are you going to the capital too?

Unknown man: *still looking at the ladies parade* yeah i just got my weapon yesterday. How about you?

Kaito: *amazed* im going too and im on the ceremony too.

Unknown man: *finally looks at kaito* *surprised* ohh i remember you! you’re the one who get 2 weapons. What’s your name again? I’m akim, i actually copy you and got 2 weapons too. *shows his weapon*

Kaito: *amused* so you got pike and a dagger thats an interesting choice. Nice to meet you akim! i’m kaito. I’m actually alone do you have friends that will you are waiting?

Akim: i’m alone too, im just waiting for a lady that is traveling alone that i might introduce myself and be her companion/boyfriend. *laughs*

Kaito: *laughs* you sounds like my friend actually. So can we be friends and travel to the capital?

Akim: yeah sure not the lady i want to travel with i suppose. *disappointed*

So they begin to enter the middle of the caravan and start to walk.

Kaito: so what i think you are trying to find the magic school to right?

Akim: *surprised* wow you’re so knowledgeable for a newbie huh. Yeah that’s every young man dream. Enter the legendary magic school and seat beside school girls with mini skirt. *heart eyes* we can find it together too the more the merrier right in the adventure.

Kaito: *laughs* yeah we might have more friends along the journey too. This is getting exciting.
