Chapter 26:

Hidden Dungeon: The tank dungeon II

Hacker Class

Alden continued to wreak havoc amongst the tanks, he got deeper and deeper into the dungeon and very soon he reached level 8.

[TANK ELIMINATED!]

[LEVEL 8]

Alden looked around him, he had some time since there was currently no tank surrounding him. Alden decided to hold back on distributing his points and instead observed the broken-down buildings around him. He realized that there was some sort of strange metal lying all around.

Alden walked over and picked a piece of metal, he began to observe it and found that it was rock-like, with some sort of blue glow covering its surface.

[MOON METAL]

"Moon metal?" Alden wondered to himself. He checked its description and was interested in what he found.

[HIGH-QUALITY MATERIAL THAT CAN BE USED TO MAKE MANY THINGS]

"This is helpful," Alden said to himself storing away the metal in his inventory. He had the skill [BLACKSMITH] so he could forge his weapons. However, Alden found that there was one disadvantage. He needed a special forge or a fire-type ability to use his skill. That was the downfall of his skill.

Alden had seen the blacksmith when he went to buy his puppet, the blacksmith used a forge to create a shield. Alden wanted to forge his weapons but he needed to get a forge or a fire-type ability. At that moment he could only settle on replicating such an ability.

Alden couldn't stand there thinking to himself for long, though, since the tanks began appearing from the ruins around him.

"I guess it's time to dance, " Alden said activating the [GRAVITY] skill. Alden intended to finish the entire mission without his puppet since that was a condition to get a bonus reward.

"Huah!" Alden yelled as he began his scuffle with the 3 tanks that had appeared, he was crushing them easily and he wondered whether it was because he got stronger or because they were just weak.

Alden tore through the tanks and approached the center of the dungeon. After he finished eliminating a particularly large tank, Alden looked up to see something that surprised him. There was a massive mountain far in the distance Next to the mountain was a large amount of smoke, smoke which rose into the air and created a blanket of smoke in the red sky.

Before Alden could make out what the mountain in the distance was, a new tank appeared, this one was about a meter taller than the other tanks and its armored body was grey. It carried a large weapon that seemed like a sword with blades on both sides. It roared out as it charged toward Alden, its weapon raised and ready to tear Alden in half.

"Whoa! Calm down big guy!" Alden yelled as he leaped through the air and performed a front flip over the tank. The tank stabbed its blade through space and its sword got stuck in the ground. Alden then leaped onto its back and began stabbing it with his dagger.

"Die! Die! Die!" Alden yelled with every stab of his blade.

"Arghh!" The tank yelled rather angrily as it spun around, throwing Alden off of its back.

Alden swore as he flew into a nearby building. He rested there for a few seconds before he had to hurriedly roll out of the way to avoid an incoming tank attack. He was fighting a single tank yet he could already tell it would give him a lot of problems. He leaped far away to the safety and checked out its stats.

TANK (lv 7)

ATTACK: EXCELLENT

DEFENCE: EXCELLENT

MOVEMENT: OKAY

"Ahh! No wonder!" Alden said to himself thoughtfully. "I will have to get a bit more serious."

Alden jumped high into the air, his superhuman legs carrying him high into the air. At the spot where he had just jumped from, a blade crashed into the building making it crumble and fall. Alden whistled. "Damn, this guy is strong."

Alden began falling back to the ground and he had himself ready to land. He landed on the ground with a loud crash, causing a small crater to appear on the ground. He stayed kneeling on the ground for a moment or two before he got up and shot toward the tank like a bullet. The TANK was already running toward him but Alden was ready.

He ducked and dodged, avoiding a few swings of the tank before he attacked, he tried to stab into the side of the tank but his dagger didn't even scratch the surface.

"What on earth are you made out of?" Alden yelled as he desperately tried to cut through the armor.

The tank grunted in reply before it swung its arm causing Alden to fly into two buildings before he stopped.

"That hurt..." Alden gasped as he got up from the wreckage he was lying in. "Like, a lot."
