Chapter 5:

Part 5: A Storm Is Coming

StarSpace: Tales Of The Time Keeper

After Styra left for the land of Phiras, I am assured that there are those who thought I was caught sight of by StarSpace’s inhabitants. Fortunately, my power stretches beyond the Eternal Lights. Being made up of The Void, my siblings and I can shape-shift into any form we choose. Most notably we blend the best in dark areas if we are to retain our true self. The armor and weapons are also made of the same matter and can hold an Eternal Light based on the properties Prism bestows upon it.

With this kind of information, we have taken a liking in our ability to choose any form that we prefer to use. The Heptarion Force holds a uniform appearance as we believe in representing ourselves as a whole in that sense. The Alpha Guardians are more separate than us in this instance, including The Master. When I saw how Styra treated her fighting partner on Phiras, there was a lot wrong with it to me. I knew this too well. How the power of an Eternal Light can overwhelm the being with a feeling of unstoppable strength and manipulative behavior. I told her that if she didn’t feel she was The New Guardian, then there was no reason to become it. However, she seemed too intrigued with the idea of it even after that.

I did not really choose her to wield an Eternal Light so she could become The New Guardian, although I did support the decision she made of her own accord. I saw a hope that if she did find the truth within herself, that Styra would help Prism change its ways. One who could also show us what is beyond the boundaries of The Omniverse and specifically find the true mastermind behind our own existence. The reason we are unable to do this by ourselves is because there is a barrier separating the Void from the outside. It is Color itself. The chaos has attempted to outgrow Prism and further cause problems that if left unguarded could very well spell the end of The Omniverse we’ve built over the course of a long time. There is only one and if it is suffocated by the madness, your world would experience true torment on levels worse than dying a terrible death. For the chaos enjoys both peace and suffering, albeit in a more radical and unrestricted way. It would control your essence to turn your thoughts against you, leaving you suspended in a doubt unfathomable for the mind or heart to handle. Even with Prism controlling the way Light is perceived to restore some sort of order to it, it is seeping through the cracks.
