Tunnel Tensions

We just arrived at the tunnel.

It was a long walk and we had to fight some low level monsters along the way. It was more exhausting than it normally would be, because of being out for so long, I feel really sluggish.

I leveled up to level 14, and Tana is now level 15.

It seems like we’ve been doing a lot of draining and exhausting quests lately. All this work is really starting to get to me, even though I’m living my dream of being Isekai’d, I never thought about how hard constant fighting and walking could be.

Who knows maybe my body will get used to this new lifestyle soon, and hopefully I don’t die, because I’ve come close quite a few times, and I just got here!

I have goals to achieve, like becoming an awesome adventurer, and having a harem. I also want to protect my new friends Claire and Tana, they’ve been nothing short of amazing party members.

“It looks like an old sewage tunnel...” (Chandler)

“Ku ku, It smells kinda poopy..” (Tana)

“Well we should go in sooner rather than later, Hideki needs our help.” (Claire)

I lead the way and begin walking through the old abandoned sewage tunnel.

Tana uses a small fox flame for us to see.

The tunnel walls are made of stone bricks and there is hardly any water left, it’s very dirty.

“We better prepare ourselves we don’t know what we’ll find down here.” (Claire)

She’s right, whatever had Hideki call for help must be a big problem; he might not even be alive anymore, and we might just find his corpse and a viscous monster.

We keep on walking for a bit, until we reached a large open circular room. There are grates in the sealing which allow daylight to leak in; the room is circular and has to ways in and out, the tunnel archway we took in, and a rusty metal door on the other side.

“Look!” (Tana)

Tana points over in a spot we weren’t looking, and it’s Hideki curled up in a ball.

“Hideki, are you okay, we are here now!” (Claire)

BOOOM!!!

A small explosion goes off over the archway we came in causing it to cave in.

Hideki stands up, with his head down then looks at us with a smile.

“Salutations fellow adventurers, or should I say... White Order Savior?” (Hideki)

“What the fuck is going on?” (Chandler)


Hideki drops his sophisticated looking glasses and steps on them?


“Hahaha, what the fuck is going on you ask? I’m going to kill you all down here, where you stand. This is your resting place; perfect spot right? No one will ever come down here looking for you.” (Hideki)

What the hell is he even talking about? This is not the same smiling helpful person who gave me a health potion and gladly helped Matt level up. What the fuck is going on. His face looks crooked, and evil. I can feel the killing intent coming from him. He’s serious, he really plans to kill us.

Someone is going to die in this tunnel. I gulp loudly. Shit.

I draw my sword and shield, Claire and Tana also get their guards up.

Tana’s eyes tear up.

“Mister... why?” (Tana)

“Hideki what’s going on!?” (Claire)

Hideki laughs even more. Then gets a cold look“I already told you all, I’m going to kill you. But you at least should get an explanation before you die, it’s not like it will change anything.” (Hideki)

“Your explanation better not be complete bullshit, it better give me a good reason not to kick your ass!” (Chandler)

“Your so feisty to die, you guys even took my bait and willingly came to your grave. I am the one who attacked Matt and told him to run and get you guys, his stupidity led him to believe my lies, and he brought you all to me.” (Hideki)

Hideki grips his hair with a big evil grin.

“When I heard the rumors that Chandler was a White Order Savior, I just had to kill him for the demon army. You see demons are the superior race, they recognized my commitment to them and granted me, a human a great gift. Demons are the superior race and will erase inferior races from existence, demons who consider an outsider worthy of their cause will bless them with the power of demon, the demon curse to fight alongside them.” (Hideki)

“What the hell do you mean!?” (Chandler)

“I mean that I have received the power of a demon, and there is no possible way you can survive against me! The White Order proves to be a big potential threat to the demon race, I decided it would be best to personally élimante one of their saviors. NOW WOULDN’T THE DEMONS LOVE ME FOR THAT!” (Hideki)

This is bullshit, Hideki deceived us, and is completely fucking nuts!

“NOW DIE!”

Hideki draws a wire with a small blade at the end of it and throws the blade at the ceiling it.Geez his aim is ass.

It bounces off a red light and goes towards me and impales my back.

“FUCK!” (Chandler)

God damnit this stings like a bitch, is this what he used on Matt? Good thing he doesn’t know Matt is also probably a White Order Savior, or else Matt wouldn’t be alive, or maybe he does know and he figures Matt will be easy to deal with later.

Hideki’s Level is now visible for us to see. Damnit his level is higher than ours.

<Hideki, Level 30>

“HAHAHA, I’ve placed barriers all throughout the perimeter of this room to ricochet my weapon off of, its perfect! I could kill you all even without my curse!” (Hideki)

He quickly and painfully pulls the blade and wire out of my back.

“GAHHHH FFUCK!” (Chandler)

“Now I will show show you my curse!”

Hideki’s eyes turn red and red veines of energy crack through his skin. A massive red aura emits from his body.

His level indicator changes, and becomes very ominous and distorted. What the hell is going on?

Claire and Tana don’t hesitate, and promptly attack him while he transforms. Good thing I have smart party members.

“Class 2 Ice Magic, Multi Ice Shard Shot!” (Claire)

“Ki Art, Burning Fox Flame!” (Tana)


Hideki gets impales by a dozen ice shards, his blood splatters everywhere, and he is burned by Tana’s fox flame immediately after. Hideki collapses on the ground.

“Did we kill him?” (Chandler)

I’m not sure if it’s over yet...

Hideki gets up with his burning red aura, and bright red eyes. Blood drips out from all over his body, and his clothes are burn’t. He smiles widely despite the shape he is in.

“HAHAHA, you took my bait yet again! I possess the curse of pain! The more damage I take, the more powerful I become! Observe.” (Hideki)

Enough of this shit! I rush at the cursed Hideki with my sword and shield, I’m gonna deliver a lethal blow and end this now!

“HAHAHA!”

Hideki’s hand gets a dangerous purple fiery aura, and he prepares to punch me. Shit! This looks like it’s gonna kill me!

I get my shield ready to block the attack. He hits my shield completely destroying it, and sending me flying into the wall. I cough up a shit ton of blood.

“Ach!” (Chandler)

“CHANDLER!” (Claire)

“MASTER!” (Tana)

Tana quickly heals me without hesitation.Shit, this is really bad.

“You cannot defeat me, attack me all you like, I will only get stronger, and you’re death will only be rushed! Why don’t you three do me a favor and kill yourselves now! Then I can return to the guild and tell them how you tragically died saving me. HAHAHA!” (Hideki)

“Shut the fuck up!” (Chandler)

He’s really pissing me off more and more! Luckily I have a plan, if this doesn’t work the three of us will die down here. I don’t think it will but...

“It’s time for a pro gamer move!” (Chandler)

Claire and Tana look puzzled, and concerned, at my declaration.

“Claire, Tana stay out of this I’m going to fight him alone, Tana only heal me when necessary.” (Chandler)

“CHANDLER THIS IS CRAZY! OUR LIVES ARE AT RISK HERE!” (Claire)

Tana starts crying.

“NO MASTER DON’T!” (Tana)

I look at my comrades and smile at them for reassurance.

“Trust me you two.” (Chandler)

“Cute statement, but whatever it is, it won’t work; it’s hopeless!” (Hideki)

I point the palm of my hand at Hideki, and gather magic to the center of it.

“Class 1 Support Magic, Attack Up!” (Chandler)

I raise Hideki’s attack making him more powerful.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” (Claire)

“HAHAHA! Thanks for the power up! I guess you just want me to end this faster! Thanks for choosing the easy way out!” (Hideki)

I walk towards Hideki as he rushes towards at breakneck speed. I’m hit even harder into the wall again causing damage to it. I spit out even more blood.

“GAH!” (Chandler)

Shit that hurt like absolute hell! His attack was much stronger and faster, and it was worse because I don’t have my shield. That hit compares to the one Sebal gave me. Fuck I can’t breathe. Blood starts dripping from my chest. All I taste in my mouth is the horrible taste of blood.

Tana quickly heals while crying. I don’t know what we’d do without her.

“MASTER!!!” (Tana)

Alright I’m healed enough to move my arm, and speak now. I point my hand towards Hideki again.

“Class 1 support magic... Attack up..” (Chandler)

I power up Hideki again. Shit I’m so weak. More I need more...

Tana continues healing me with her fox fire.

“Class 1 Support Magic, Attack Up!” (Chandler)

I power up Hideki even more.

“HAHAHA I CAN FEEL THE POWER! GO AHEAD GIVE ME MORE!!!” (Hideki)

“Chandler this is enough I-“ (Claire)

“Claire just trust me!” (Chandler)

“Class 1 Support Magic, Attack Up! Class 1 Support Magic, Attack Up!” (Chandler)

I pick up my sword and rush at Hideki once more!

“Come at me all you like, you’re only gonna make me stronger!” (Hideki)

Hideki stands there with open arms waiting for my attack.

I slash my sword at Hideki’s waist leaving a bloody gash. Hideki’s red aura only gets stronger.

“YES MAKE ME STRONGER! I FEEL STRONGER THAN I EVER HAVE BEFORE!” (Hideki)

I pick up a broken piece of my shield to brace myself for his attack.

Hideki stomps on the ground breaking it with intense force, and he then kicks rocks that flew up at me with the force of a bullet.

I block some of them with the shield shard, but it gets destroyed, and the rest of the rocks impale my body. Blood spews everywhere and I fall over.

“CHANDLER!” (Claire)

“MASTER” (Tana)

Tana immediately heals me. Damnit he almost killed me again, with hardly any effort! Just a little more...

I regain some strength after being healed by Tana again.

“Class 1 Support Magic, Attack Up!” (Chandler)

I raise Hideki’s power once more, and it looks like this is the last time too, my MP bar is basically empty and I can’t use any more magic. Shit looks like it’s now or never. One final push!I pick my sword back and rush at Hideki one last time.

I can’t die yet, not before I stroke Tana’s tail, or before I start a harem, or see a real cat girl!

“This will be your last attack, Chandler Brown! After this I will end your life! Better make it count my power is through the roof!” (Hideki)

Hideki shows me his curse mark on his forearm, it is brightly lighting up.

This is it!!!

“AAHHHHH!” (Chandler)

I slash Hideki’s throat open.

“Ach... blach...” (Hideki)

“It’s over.” (Chandler)

It seems like my strategy worked, I had a hunch that his curse worked the reverse way, after all it is called a curse. If damage raised his power, than raising his power should in turn hurt him, and weaken him. That’s what allowed me to kill him.

Hideki tries to breath but chokes and gurgles on his own blood, he collapses, dead.

I’m now level 15, Tana is now level 16, and Claire is now level 22. Looks like we all leveled up.I always wondered if you only got XP from monsters, and if killing a human being would give you XP. Looks like people give XP too, this really is a cruel world.

Just a few days ago this was a person I was chatting with at the guild hall; now he is dead by my own sword.

I look at Hideki’s dead body and wipe his blood off of my face. I’ve never actually killed an actually person before, it’s a strange feeling knowing that I actually killed someone, even though I had to do it.

I fall down on my knees, then Claire and a crying Tana rush over to me.

“CHANDLER, YOU DID IT!” (Claire)

“MASTERR!” (Tana)

Tana begins healing me, damn I’m actually kind of dizzy, and I’m in a lot of pain from that fight.

“Looks like my plan actually worked...” (Chandler)

“You didn’t even know if your plan would actually work!? Jeez Chandler your ridiculous we could have actually died.” (Claire)

Claire gives me a concerned smile, and flips her purple hair.

“Well it worked, that’s all that matters.” (Chandler)

Tana keeps sobbing uncontrollably, and her fox ears curl down.

“MASTER! MASTERR!” (Tana)

I give Tana a head pat, and smile at her.

“It’s okay Tana, everything’s okay now.” (Chandler)

“Is it?” (???)

We all turn around at the new voice.

The rusty door on the other side of the room is open, and the man standing there is none other than that shitty holy knight... Sebal.

“You...” (Chandler)

Just the sight of that son of a bitch makes my blood curl in anger. I hate that fucking piece of shit I’ll never forget that he tried to force Claire into having sex with him in an alleyway.

“I was patrolling the Skywatch outskirts minding my own business, and I suddenly saw an interesting demonic aura. I was hoping to kill the source of the power myself.” (Sebal)

Sebal looks at Hideki’s dead body and sighs in annoyance.

“But what I find is you two again, and a new pretty little thing. I remember you fat hog, you cock blocked me from sexing up that cute purple haired thing. Looks like you’ve been busy you got me a tiny little fox slut too! God damn I can’t wait!“ (Sebal)

I violently grit my teeth in anger listening to his psychopathic banter.

“Shut up...” (Chandler)

“Gentarō isn’t here to interfere this time; so what’s gonna happen is I’m gonna beat the fat fucking gorilla to the brink of death, then make him watch me fuck his two little whores, then I will finish all three of you off, and claim the glory for killing a demon, and tell everyone about your tragic deaths. HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT SOUND PISS ANTS!!??” (Sebal)


“I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!” (Chandler)

I’ve had it, I don’t think I’ve ever snapped at someone like that before. I hate this son of a bitch more than anything.

I rush at him with my sword, and he moves at such a high speed that I didn’t see where he went.

“Behind you piggy! Oink Oink!” (Sebal)

Sebal cuts the back of my legs with his sword causing me to fall over.

“DAMNIT!” (Chandler)

His level appears for the second time.

<Sebal, Level 70>

He then slowly, and painfully starts digging his sword around into my back.

“GAHHHHH!!!” (Chandler)

“CHANDLER” (Claire)

“MASTER!” (Tana)

Fuck this hurts like absolute hell, he’s digging his sword around in a way that maximizes the pain I’m in. Damnit this is the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I start crying from the extreme pain.

“Ahhhhaha...” (Chandler)

“MASTERRR!!” (Tana)

Tana rushes at Sebal to help me, but Sebal slaps Tana sending her flying back into Claire’s arms.

“Ahhh!” (Tana)

“Tana! Claire!” (Chandler)

“Back off you stupid little fucking fox whore!” (Sebal)

I know Claire and Tana want to help, but they can see Sebals level and I can understand why they’d be scared.

“Why are you doing this meanie!?” (Tana)

“Because I’m a holy knight who wants to stick his holy penis inside of young tight underage virgin girls! How about I fuck you in your tight little butt you stupid dirty fucking fox whore! Maybe I’ll even pull your tail! HAHAHA!” (Sebal)

“Over my dead body...” (Chandler)

“What was that piggy?!” (Sebal)

He twists his sword in back around rapidly escalating the pain.

“GAHHHH!!!!” (Chandler)

My body is overflowing with rage, I’ve never been this angry before in my life.


I won’t let him rape Claire and Tana. I won’t let him. I won’t let him. I won’t let him. I won’t let him!!!

“Now purple haired bitch take you’re clothes off first.” (Sebal)

Claire starts crying along with Tana.

I won’t let him do this. I won’t let him. I won’t let him!!!!!

“I WON’T LET YOU!!!!!!!!” (Chandler)

Then suddenly my stomach starts burning worse than the sword in my back. It feels like something has been released, and everything turns red.
