Under the shattered eclipse [END]

"Thinking about all those memories we had has calmed down our hearts, right Yuki?"

"..."

"Yuki?"

He looked up. They have already stabbed each other in the hearts. Yuki seemed to have left this world earlier than Hiroshi. Hiroshi was looking at the womb, the child for which they are sacrificing their life to. He touched the womb, it was still moving and kicking.

"Remember, child. Well, we didn't give you a name, right? I guess we didn't. Sorry for that. But remember, don't become killers like us. Live your life to the fullest and enjoy it. I hope someone nice finds you and takes care of you. Someone who is not abusive, not harsh, not oppressive. And don't become a heartless person who oppresses, abuses and hurts other people. Yes, I think thats all there is to say to you."

He looked at Yuki. Her body was getting cold. He kissed her in the lips and hugged her, which deepened the wound of the knife inside his heart. Then, with a smile in his face, he said,

"Thank you for everything. Thank you for giving me a life that I was happy to live. Remember the time when we tried to kill each other? Well now, I don't mind getting killed in your hands."

Yuki was actually not dead yet. She was unconscious to the extent that she couldn't talk or make gestures. She could only listen. After listening to what he said, tears came down from her eyes. At last, she tried her best to smile to show her gratitude for him too.

Hiroshi's eyes became blurry. His hearing dulled out. His hands were becoming cold. He felt all the energy leaving out from his body. Ahh, thats right. This is what they call death, isn't it?

That day, both of the quixotic predators died by committing double suicide, on top of the execution platform, under the shattered eclipse...

Meanwhile Yumiko, the new chief of the secret police headquarters, arrived to the execution platform to see this unwanted scenery. She couldn't believe her eyes. Both of them committed double suicide, but for what reason? She was confused, but then she remembered that Yuki was pregnant and was carrying a baby. The baby must be alive.

She took command over the secret police and said through the walkie talkie,

"The Quixotic Predators are... dead. I repeat, the Quixotic Predators vampire and witch is... dead. I now order all the soldiers and backups to arrive at the execution platform and follow my command. Those who won't will face severe consequences, which could even lead to death."

That death threat gave chills down the spine to the soldiers who escaped. They immediately came back and started doing what Yumiko told them to do.

Firstly, Yumiko told the guards to put their bodies inside an ambulance with care. The baby was still moving inside, so theres still a chance. Yumiko assigned five of the best doctors in this field to take care of saving Yuki and Hiroshi's child. She also confiscated their house, took all the belongings and brought it to a safe place.

Lastly, she ordered this news of the Quixotic Predators' death to be public. Those were the first few orders she did in this situation.

Soon, the fire brigades arrived at the scene and stopped the fire burning the city. It was a whole mess. But its not the duty of the secret police to deal with it. The government will take responsibility. The secret police is a defence force, after all.

One week later, everything seemed to be settled down. The quixotic predators are no more in the world. Yumiko also restored order in the secret police. She also fired all the solders who fled from their duties in fear of their lives. That is what they deserve.

On the other hand, Eiko, Yuuji, Ren and Ryotaro are all having a hard time. They don't know how to react. They couldn't believe that Yuki and Hiroshi were the Quixotic Predators all along. They didn't hate them after they came to know their true identity. They knew, being their best friends, there must've been a reason. They wanted to visit their grave just once, but their grave were never made public, nor anything have been revealed about their dead bodies.

After all the hard work, sleepless nights and effort of the five doctors, two months later, the baby of Hiroshi and Yuki was born. He had no unusual traits, a perfectly normal baby. This baby was now under the care of the secret police department. He was a boy, with white hair.

As the baby didn't have any name, the honour of naming was given to Yumiko. She gave him the name, Yukihiro Oshiruko. I wonder from where she got that name from. Yumiko decided that that when she reaches the suitable age for adopting someone, she would adopt him as her child and take good care of him...

Three years after the death of the Quixotic Predators;

Yumiko just graduated from High School. She is now 18 years old. She is still the head of the secret police. After the graduation ceremony, Yumiko went home, where she saw three year old Yukihiro playing with some toys and drawing something. It was a drawing of his parents. Of course, he didn't see his parents, so he drew from his imagination. Seeing Yumiko coming home, he asked her a question.

"Yumiko-nee-chan. Who were my papa and mama? How did they look? Where are they now? Did they love me? If they did, then why did they leave me behind?"

Children at this age do ask a lot of questions. Yumiko decided to answer all his questions. She sat beside Yukihiro.

Yukihiro, a child of killers, having white hair and appearance from his mother, and hazel eyes, intelligence from his father. He might be called a prodigy in the later years because of his fast learning skills.

"Your papa and mama loved you very much. They left this world to bring peace to you."

"Bring peace to me?"

"Yes."

"I wanna see papa and mama. I wanna see them."

"Well..."

She remembered that Yuki and Hiroshi had an album where they put all their fun memories together. She went to search for it. She came back with the album, which was all dusty and worn out. But the pictures were still intact, which is good.

"They were your papa and mama."

"Oooo. Mama has white hair as me! Papa has eyes like me!"

"Yeah."

"Mama is beautiful in this picture. She looks like a princess.", said Yukihiro, pointing at the picture that was taken on the school grounds on the day of the study tour.

"Wow. Mama looks like a child in this one.", Yukihiro commented pointing at the 'innocent face' Yuki from the second day of the study tour.

Child Yukihiro saw all the pictures of his father and mother , those were new memories to him. He saw their time from the study tour, summer camp, marriage, and Yuki's pregnant times. There weren't much, but they were precious memories. Yukihiro wanted to keep the album to himself, to which, Yumiko agreed.

She then asked Yukihiro a question,

"Today I am free."

"Yay. Let's play all day!"

"We already play all day. So why don't we do something else today?"

"What should we do?"

"I have an idea. Let's go visit your papa and mama's grave. Don't you want to see them too?"

"Okay. Let's goo!"

"Well, maybe a little later. We have to eat. You are hungry, right?"

"Okay. Lets eat!"

"You seem awfully energetic today."

Yuki and Hiroshi were buried on the secret police headquarters. A place was made specifically for their graves. And Yumiko and Yukihiro, their child are going to visit them today. It is truly a special day.
