Magic User Spotted!

The guards proceed and investigate the camping site, they interview every possible witness but the description every victim gives does not match anyone on the camp. The culprit did not escape in the forest because the guards already station at all possible exit. Since kaito and akim is the last victim and they are on the middle of the campsite there’s no way that the thief will be outside the campsite.

The night continues and there’s still no suspect the guards cant search through all the adventurers belonging because they if the do that they will all be up all night. They will have to travel to the capital tomorrow and still inside the goblin zone. The guards give up after a 4 hours of intense investigation. The thief description may not be that relevant after all.

*dorobo inside his tent*

Dorobo: *remove is disguise mask and hood* phew! What a run! This skin mask technology that dad taught me sure suits our profession. No can one recognize me in a million years in this region. I dont have to risk my life fighting monsters i can just steal their hard earn money under their nose. *laughs* i will just bury this bag of gold under my tent and just walk it off tomorrow. Then i will have decent pocket money to spent in the capital city. *thinking about hostess and new equipments* *gets to sleep*

The night is long for the adventurers on the camping site because they dont know when the thief will strike again. Many of them dont even sleep because of fear that their belongings will be gone when they wake up.

Kaito: *yawn* *stretch* what a night! everyone seems sleepless.

Akim: yeah i guess the merchants sleeps hugging their items while sleeping in their handcarts *laughs*

Kaito: today is a big day we will now reach the capital city by the night! Wohoo!

Akim: i wonder what the city is like they say its so big with high walls and castles.

Kaito: we just need to survive to find out! Not everybody reach the capital. It’s the place where all zone meets.

Akim: im already excited! Different culture and different ladies double d’s! We will also saw some high ranking adventurer in the guild hall thats for sure!

Kaito: yeah im curious how many of magic user are in the capital adventurer and if they all attempnd magic school at all.

Akim: some adventurers born with magic powers too but its extremely rare. Only those heaven sent have those luck some of the should be from the magic school so we can ask them some clues.

Kaito: hmm but i think they will not talk because the magic school should be secret and legendary right? Not everybody can enter it and the rumors of deadly and dangerous things surround it must be true.

Akim: yeah learning magic should be dangerous because if you learn magic and use it in the wrong way we will have huge problem about magic user criminals.

*the caravan starts moving*

Commander wasp: we are still inside the goblin zone keep your group close like yesterday and hope it works again. There is just few reports of adventurers got wounded in the battle. Keep on high alert as we reach the capital city the stronger the monster will appear! As for the thief he’s still blending among us stay vigilant he could be anyone beside you right now!

Everyone: sir! Yes sir!

Kaito: *sigh* i just remember that thief again stole my first money selling loots. We should farm plenty of monster now to make up for last nights blunder.

Akim: *laughs* yeah so we can stay on the capital as long as possible until we find the magic school. I wonder where’s eka and liza they should be scared for that thief too.

Kaito: yeah but i bet they dont want to group with us again. *laughs*

The caravan goes to the usual routine with 3 hours walking then break and continue. Until they heard a loud commotion going on about 500 meters from them.

Kaito: i wonder whats that loud noises are looks like somebody is fighting.

Akim: yeah loud shocks and explosions like thats means only one thing. There’s a magic user around that area fighting monsters probably.

Kaito immediately climbs on the top of a tree to see what’s happening he saw some group of people about 7 in number fighting a army of goblins.

Kaito: *shouts* hey akim climb here too. You wont believe what I’m watching!

Akim: okay that must be fun. *climbs*

They witness a guild farming goblins using magic and their weapons in sync. The melee fighter with short weapons are luring the aggressive goblin to the group they saw 2 magic user one is using earth magic other is fire they can easily kill goblin wave after wave as the body of dead goblins pile up in front of them numbering about 100 body some are elites goblin but they are no match for this groups technique and skill.

Kaito: *amused* what is happening there that must be how the true adventurer hunt monsters. Its so dazzling to watch this is my first time watching magic in full display.

Akim: yeah me too so thats how the magic can be used. I guess that’s how they farm monsters. Highly aggressive monster don’t really think much the just charge on their target. Thats why the melee fighter are just luring them to the range of earth magic user that can shoot stone spike and the fire user that is firing continues barrage of fire balls. The archer is just in the back casually shooting if the magic user missed some what a group. Then the melee fighter will finish the struggling ones and start harvesting.

Kaito: *thrilled* the magic users cant spam magic for eternity their stamina should be compromised. I hope we can get closer to them i want to see their magic up close and ask them tons of questions. *sigh*

Akim: *laughs* yeah me too its not that far away we can actually go. Its not like our parents will stop us right? We are on our own journey now i guess the commander will not really care if two curious adventurer detour a little bit for research and sanity purposes. *laughs*

Kaito: that makes so much sense! If im with my friend he will be so scared to even climb this tall tree. Its really nice to have you akim! let’s go we just gonna need to track their trail later or better we got invited bu thepat group!

Akim: *laughs* its not much but remember its dangerous too we can be ambush along the way and got killed by our curiousity. Plus i some some pretty blonde lady with huge bazooka over there!

Kaito: *chuckles* so that’s whats you are curious about. Does breast really drove all your actions huh.

Akim: Ofcourse thats what the man our age always thinking 24/7.

*They both laughs*

They climb down the tree that is about 100 meters tall and headed to the group of adventurers that is farming goblins. They guard saw they and tell them to get back and says theyre are not their responsibility if they got killed. Kaito and akim just smiles at the guard and leaves the caravan.

While there are running towards the group they encounter about 5 goblins and wolves. They beat them and harvest in a quick manner with just minor scratch and continue to run towards the direction of the mysterious group.

Meanwhile someone got interested in the constant loud commotion too. It’s dorobo he as well climb the tree to find out what’s happening and saw kaito and akim running towards the group.

Dorobo: hmm this will be interesting the two newbie that i robbed yesterday is heading toward my pot of gold. I doubt i can steal anything from that group they look an organize party im in deep trouble if they caught me. If they got a powerful magic user why they gang up on weak goblins. The mats here are not that expensive compare if you farm on the monsters near the capital.
