Don't die.

"Satoshi, come to my office when you are ready. I will be waiting. And bring your personal assistant with you too.", said Yumi, before putting down the fork and leaving the dining table.

Satoshi looked at her in wonder, whilst Miyu was confused.

"Why me? Why did she tell him to bring me specifically?", she thought.

After Satoshi finished his meal, he left the dining hall, while Miyu was trailing behind.

"Umm, Satoshi? You are going there right now?"

"Nope. I need some rest."

"But she said she will be waiting."

"Don't worry much about it. She knows that we are tired. You should go and take a rest too."

"Um, okay."

Going to each of their rooms, they did their own things. An hour later, Satoshi came and knocked on Miyu's door.

"Miyu, its me Satoshi."

She knew it was the time for them to go to princess Yumi's office.

"I am coming.", she opened the door.

Satoshi was walking down the hallway, with Miyu following him. She was a little nervous.

"Nee-san, I am here.", Satoshi said, standing in front of the door, knocking on Yumi's office.

"Come in."

Satoshi entered the room along with Miyu.

"Took you long enough. Come and sit down.", said Yumi, who was sitting on the chair.

Satoshi and Miyu sat down on the couches that was placed there.

Suddenly, the mood turned dark. She was going to say something serious, Satoshi could feel it.

"Satoshi and Miyu. I have an important question to ask you two. Do you to love each other-"

"I am leaving."

"Wait! I was just joking."

"Just when I though you were going to say something serious."

"It is serious. Back to the topic. There is too much to explain. First tell me, how much do you know about the Human vs elf war?"

"Not much, why?"

"Tell me the details up to how much you know."

"The red and blue elf, the oppression on humans and the defeat of the elves, but why are you asking me this?"

"You know an awful lot as someone who is not into books."

"Are you here just to tease me or what?"

"Well, that saved me from most of the explanation. I can focus on the main topic."

"Just spit it out."

"After the end of the Human vs elf war, six books were confiscated which were later revealed to be written by the blue elf, the good one. You know the names of those?"

"No."

"The book of beginning, the book of prophecy, the book of description, the book of technology, the book of past and the book of history. At the end of the battle, those books were given to the six kings who participated and now lies safe inside each of the six royal palaces. The book of beginnings was given to King Rudy I, the book of prophecy to King Fina I, the book of description to King Aqua I, the book of technology to King Haze I, the book of past to King Ayumi I and the book of history to King Tochi I."

"Woah, that new information. But so what? Anything wrong?"

"These books are only available for the Royal family and no one other than that royal family knows what's written in their book. Thats a rule. I am a member of both the Kingdom of Rudy and Kigdom of Fina's Royal families. So I have the privilege of reading both of the books."

"Good for you."

"... recently, I read the book of prophecy. But the next day, when I got mother's letter, I was shocked."

She first looked at Satoshi, then moved her glare to Miyu.

"You are an elf, aren't you?"

The sound echoed the room. Miyu's heart was filled with horror. Whats going to happen to her now?

Without a doubt, Satoshi drew back his sword on Yumi, his very own sister that he loved.

"You are not hesitating a bit, aren't you?", Yumi said to her surprise.

"How do you that she is an elf? Do you have any evidence about that?"

"Well, your behaviour alone serves as an evidence. But as this is a meeting between royal family members, I will break it down to you."

Suddenly, a strong wind blew by them, removing the hood of the cloak that was covering Miyu's hair and ears. Heck, it even blew off Satoshi's sword.

"... an ability?", Satoshi said.

"Yes. This is the ability that I was granted by becoming a member of the Royal family of Fina."

That means Yumi now has two active and two passive abilities. It will be a tough battle to fight.

"Now, do you need any more evidence? Thats what you get for rising a sword on your sister."

"Tsk..."

He was searching for a way to escape with Miyu, now that she knew about Miyu's identity. He didn't know why, but he felt like he needed to run.

Yumi approached closer and closer. There was no way out of this situation. Saotshi grabbed Miyu's hand and decided to use his teleport ability, but he was slapped hard my his sister, breaking the teleportation.

Satoshi fell down on the ground, along with Miyu. Yumi picked Satoshi up, only to slap him again, but even harder.

"What made you think I would do something to you in the first place? What made you feel threatened that you rose you sword against me? I may have come to a different kingdom, but I am still your sister. You idiot of a brother!"

Satoshi realised his mistake. He was jumping to conclusions too fast. His sister didn't want to capture Miyu. It wasn't her intention at all.

Miyu was there, standing on a corner. She didn't know if she should intervene or not. But by the looks of it, its better for her not to intervene.

"I am sorry nee-san, for suspecting you.", said Satoshi in a guilty manner.

"You mean it?"

"I mean it."

"Forgiven."

That was fast. Well, it seemed to be like that to Miyu, but Yumi always forgave Satoshi when he did something wrong and asked for forgiveness, which she felt that he was truly sorry.

"You can take off your cloak for now, Miyu. It is hot in here."

Miyu looked at Satoshi for confirmation.

"Just do as she says.", said Satoshi.

Satoshi and Miyu again sat down. But Yumi was more curious of Miyu than anything else. She was amazed by her green hair, long moving ears and her emerald green eyes.

She just couldn't help but start touching her ears. But Miyu didn't mind it.

"I heard ears are elves' sensitive organs. Don't you mind you ears being touched?"

"No. It feels great! I love it."

"Satoshi... how did you even find such a cutie pie? Forget the human vs elf war, who would even dare to execute someone as cute as her?"

Surprisingly, both the siblings share the same thought.

"Now I know why you are so keen to protect her. Well, I would love her to be my sister-in-law."

"Nee-san! Stop it."

"Ooh, Satoshi is blushing now I see."

"Forget it, what else were written in the prophecy?"

Satoshi diverted the attention to something else.

"I can't tell you that. You are not a member of this royal family. I want to tell you, but I cant."

"Then no problem. As long as it doesn't mention something bad, thats all that I want to hear."

"But I will give you a warning. The path that your are choosing will be a difficult path nonetheless for both of you. But you will see light at the end of the path."

"Thats good to hear."

"Besides, if you fail to protect her, I will give you a hand. I can't let such a cutie's life in vain like this."

"Well, you called me to come here all the way from Rudy just to say that?"

"No. Thats not the only reason. I am almost certain that other Kingdoms has caught the wind that an elf has appeared in this world."

"Huh? How?"

"I guess you were standing too close when the incident happened. That night, a bright green light could be seen by all the people of the world for a few seconds before disappearing, the same way the history books described."

"Thats bad."

"A potential war might even break out because of it. I am more worried for the actions of the Kingdom of Aqua. They have the book of descriptions, which most probably describes the whole elf structure, their behaviour, and everything in detail. Their actions became shady and suspicious after that green light incident happened."

"But why them? Why does it concern them only?"

"I don't know much. But I guess Elves have some kind of power that we don't know about, which could be used against other people. I mean just think of it, why was the elves once able to conquer the earth if they were almost similar to humans?"

"That also sounds reasonable."

Miyu was listening to all of it, but she didn't know what to say or how to react. She has some kind of power? She didn't believe it herself.

Yumi stood from her chair and looked behind at the window. She giggled a bit.

"Sorry Satoshi and Miyu. I kind of used you guys a bit for my favour by asking you to come here."

"What do you mean?", asked Satoshi.

"If you were to stay at the Kingdom of Rudy now, they might even start a war there. Do you know how the kingdom of Aqua's royal family is described in the pages of the past?"

"How?"

"As a group of cunning foxes. In the battle between the humans and elves, when it seemed like the humans were going to lose, King Aqua I almost switched sides, but seeing the humans then again winning, he stepped back."

"Thats betrayal."

"Yes. But he didn't actually switch sides, so nobody could blame him."

"But what does that have anything to do with you inviting us?"

"Well, by inviting you to our palace, it makes it a lot easier for them to capture her, which is most likely their plan. Instead of going on a full fledged war, they could just kidnap her in the middle of the journey to here or the journey back to Rudy."

"So thats why you told me to come here as soon as possible. It was to catch them off guard, right?"

"Yes. They can't arrange a ship and skilled members that fast, so they will have to carry out the operation when you guys will be on the way home."

"I see."

"I am sorry for that."

"You did it for the sake of the people, didn't you? I am a little ashamed. I am the inheritor of that Kingdom, and yet you are the one who is protecting it."

"Well, thats what one gets for having an idiot brother. I sometimes worry about the kingdom when I remember that you are going to be the inheritor."

As this point, Miyu couldn't help but giggle at how well they get along.

"Sorry sorry. I just couldn't help it. You two are really siblings."

"Were you doubting it?"

"No. But-"

Well, they understood what she was trying to say. With that, the meeting was over. Now all that was left was full fledged preparations for the journey back. They basically guessed the Kingdom of Aqua's move, but they will play along for now. The main battle that they are going to encounter is tomorrow.

The next day, Miyu woke up early. She was nervous about the battle. She had never experienced battle in her life. It will be her first time. Besides, the battle is going to happen because of her. She was scared.

Satoshi woke up kind of early too. Well, he needed to prepare for the battle, so he woke up early.

Soon, it was time for their departure. Yumi herself went to bade goodbye to them. Unfortunately she couldn't go there with Satoshi herself.

"Satoshi, one last thing before you go. The fight is most likely going to happened on the ship. They won't take the chance of fighting within the borders, as the guards will be around."

"Got it nee-san. You can rest easy."

"Can I though? You are such an idiot, what if you use your powers a little too much and accidentally break your own ship?"

Well, she was worried, but for a reason that Miyu was not expecting. Hearing that, Miyu felt kind of relieved. Satoshi is strong. She can trust her life with him.

"I remember the time when you created a hole ten meters deep when you tried use your powers."

"That was of the old times, sis."

For some reason, they were not worried of it at all. In fact, they were calm. Don't they even have to worry? At that point, she didn't even know.

"Don't worry Miyu, my idiot brother will save you no matter what. He didn't even hesitate to take up on a duel with me, even though it is thousand years too early before he can actually defeat me.", Yumi giggled a bit.

Miyu and Satoshi got into the carriage. This time, instead of Prince Ryoichi, it was Prince Arata, in other words, Yumi's husband, who was accompanying them.

"Hey Arata, make sure to drop them of safe, ya know?", said Yumi

"I know."

They then set off to the port again to go home by ship. Miyu couldn't get to see the kingdom that day clearly, so she was looking at that now.

"What are your intentions now, Satoshi?"

"Eh? Me? What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb. I also read the book of prophecy. And I know about Miyu and the battle thats going to happen."

"Well. You kind of know everything. What else do I have to say?"

"Let me tell you one thing pretty clearly. The secret that you are trying to protect in no longer a secret. Almost all the royal family now knows that the Royal family of Rudy has gotten their hands on one of the most strongest creatures, elves. Your hard work might fool the masses, but it won't fool the ability users."

"Then I will stand against them as a barrier between them and Miyu. I will protect her with my life."

As Miyu was looking outside, she didn't know what they were talking about. She didn't hear a thing.

"Are you guys saying anything about me?", she asked, looking back.

"Nope. Nothing", said Satoshi.

"And also. We have prepared reinforcement battleship in our second port just in case. They will arrive shortly after the battle begins. We can't do much, but I hope this will be enough."

"Thats more than enough. I can take care of them myself.", said Satoshi with utter confidence.

"Oh well then."

They reached the port. This is the beginning of the battle. Before letting Miyu get off the carriage, Satoshi looked on both sides in confirmation. There was nobody on sight. It was still early in the morning. The ship was filled with guards of both the kingdom of Rudy and Fina, protecting the Prince and Miyu.

They got up the ship, saying goodbye to the Kingdom. When suddenly, both Satoshi and Miyu heard a voice in their head.

"Goodluck you two. I hope you return home safely. Give me a letter when you reach home."

It was Yumi's voice. It was Yumi's first active ability, mind communication. She can communicate with anyone she wishes like this.

This time, the ship didn't whistle, it started sailing silently. The atmosphere was foggy, which was good to cover up the reinforcement ships that were at the back.

"Satoshi, I am scared", said Miyu with a scared face, holding Satoshi's sleeve.

"Calm down. Didn't I say that I will protect you?"

"Still, I can't."

He didn't know what to do. He was getting just one idea which might work to make her less anxious.

He hugged her to calm her down. She was like a little baby, wanting attention. Well, that was somewhat of her cute side.

She hugged him back, but she wasn't letting him go.

"If you hold onto me like this, then how will I fight?"

"...Don't die. Please don't die. I don't want to be alone."

"I won't die. Just have trust in me. Thats all I need."

"I will be angry if you die.", she pouted.

"Stop pouting.", he said, grabbing her cheeks.

"...Satoshi...that hurts."

She started giggling. Her anxiety was gone now. She could trust her heart a bit more.

"You should go inside. Its not safe for you to be here."

"No. I will stay here. I want to see you battle."

As they were talking, a giant battleship peeked out through the mists. It was coming straight at them. The battle is about to begin. Satoshi took position to use his ability to teleport. As he could see the ship, he could teleport there.

He took a step back to use his teleportation ability. But then, Miyu hugged him from behind. The teleportation ability didn't break, but Satoshi was flustered.

"Don't die, you know... because... you are the only one I love.", said she, before getting out of the teleportation circle that was around Satoshi.

Just after that, Satoshi teleported away to the enemies ship to battle. Her heart was beating faster the minute. Who knows how many enemies were there.

In the meantime, Satoshi felt awfully motivated that day. He felt like he could take on a hundred enemies at once, thanks to Miyu.

Opening his eyes, he was on the enemies ship, at the heart of the enemies, all of them having some kind of weapon with them. Satoshi drew out his sword, ready to fight.

"You pesky insects are nothing to my power.", said Satoshi, having a serious expression.
