Chapter 8:

Chapter 8

Oh My God

Hazel got out of the shower and dressed up and then she went to get some clothes for Alex from the next room.

After she had given him the clothes, she looked at herself in the mirror. The dress she was wearing was revealing. Just then, Alex stepped out of the bathroom too.

"Alex, why did you pick this dress for me? It's so revealing," she said to him.

"It's not my fault. Now, is it? There were only revealing clothes in the closet. This was the best, love," he answered.

There was a knock on the door. Maria and Silvy were waiting outside. Alex opened the door and they went outside to see them. Maria was shocked by Hazel's clothes.

"Hazel dear, you are showing so much of your skin!," she exclaimed.

"Yeah, I don't like it too. Your clothes are like mine too. Are you comfortable in them?," Hazel said.

"Well, if there are no other clothes then this is what I have to wear, right?," she said.

"Can we go now? You guys won't stop talking so I have to make you stop," Silvy said.

So they left Silvy's mansion and this is what they were wearing: Alex was wearing a black shirt with black jeans and combat boots. He had put an earring in his left ear to match the Death-world vibe. His hair were down and they looked magnificent. Maria wore a soft pink colored off shoulders gown which had a cut on the thigh. It had a cord at the back which was tied up in a ribbon. She looked amazing. Hazel, on the other hand, wore a black colored thigh length dress that had a deep neckline and her cleavage could be seen. It was a full sleeved dress. Her hair were let down, just like Maria's. Silvy wore her dress from earlier. Maria and Hazel wore a little bit of makeup, too.

As they stepped out of the mansion and onto the road outside, they realized Silvy lived in a rich part of Death-world. The place had a red colored sky to it, probably because it was getting dark. But there was a happy kind of vibe, which seemed very suspicious.

"Is there some kind of ocassion today?," Maria asked Silvy.

"Oh, yeah. Didn't I tell you? Today is Lucifer's birthday!," she said.

"What?!," the others said in unison.

"You thought we didn't have events or any birthdays here? Chill out, you people! It's all ok. Everybody's in a really good mood today," she said, laughing in her succubus way.

They walked a while and reached a street crowded with people. Some kind of official or someone of high ranking was passing through.

"Those are the demon brothers a.k.a the seven princes of hell passing by," Silvy said, pointing towards the procession in the street. "And that guy in the centre is Lucifer, the birthday boy!," she said.

They rushed past the crowd to get a closer look at him. This is how he looked: he had blonde hair and deep blue eyes like the color of lapiz lazuli. He had angelic beauty due to the fact that the was an angel once. He had an earring in both of his earlobes and they looked really attractive on him. He had full lips and a sharp nose, just like his jawline. He had long hair and they ran down to his shoulders. The most noticeable thing was the tattoo he had on the right side of his neck. Not one but two. One of the tattoos was 'Pride' and the other was  seven stars in a line.

"Where are all the other brothers going with him?," Alex asked, confused. "I mean, it's his birthday so they're gonna celebrate it. But where?," he said.

"They're going to the city hall," Maria said.

"I didn't know you knew that," Silvy said.

"No, I've been here once before so I know where they go for their birthdays," Maria said.

"I think we're not allowed, right?," Hazel said.

"Of course not! And that's because it's Lucifer's birthday. Had it been another one's birthday, we might have been able to go," Silvy said.

"So they do allow people?," Alex asked.

"Not really. There are just some people who get to be close to city hall when the demon brothers are inside. So you can't say that people get invited. They are very big egoists!," Silvy explained. "Right now, because it is Lucifer's birthday, people need to be six metres away from the hall, or else he will kill them all. Just because he's pride, doesn't mean he has to act the part!," she said.

Silvy looked very disgusted. Alex and Maria smiled awkwardly. Hazel was staring at something or rather someone in the procession.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you I'm invited to the party," Silvy said.

They were shocked.

"You're what?!," Alex asked.

"Yeah, I'm invited and that means that I get to be close to city hall. You guys will go with me too because I am allowed to bring people with me and those people are you. So, let's go," she said.

So they walked to the bus stop and got into the bus to get to city hall.

While they were on the way, Alex who was sitting with Hazel asked Silvy a question.

"But why did we take the bus? I mean, I saw cars in your garage," he asked.

"Oh yeah, that's cause cars are not allowed there. We took the bus and it's gonna drop us off at city square and then we're gonna walk to city hall," she answered.

"So that means that the demon brothers have to walk to city hall, too?," Hazel asked.

"Yup. They could've taken the bus but why would they? They've got legs!," Silvy said, laughing.

So the bus dropped them off at city square and they walked to city hall. The city hall was a dome kind of structured building that was a museum inside. There were tables and a buffet, a really large one, set outside. There was no one visible 6 metres from the hall. There was a strong barrier around the city hall to 6 metres across it.

Silvy and the others crossed the barrier and entered the setting of tables and chairs outside the hall. There were other people who were invited too. Everybody was dressed up in quite the same clothes as them.

They sat down. They could hear loud laughs booming from inside the hall. The brothers were surely enjoying Lucifer's birthday.

After a while of eating and drinking, some very handsome waiters brought cake outside and served it to the guests.

"When did they even cut it?," Hazel asked a waiter when he served it to her.

"Didn't you hear the laughing sounds earlier, darling?," the sexy waiter, with brown hair tied in a bun and deep black eyes, asked.

"That was the cake cutting?," she said, laughing.

The waiter smiled brightly at her, then left.

"Guys, they're coming outside," Maria said, pointing towards the museum called city hall.

"Well, we can look at them. We're guests. They invited us.... me, actually," Silvy said, assuring Maria that it was all okay if the demon brothers came out and they looked at them.

Just then, a lot of scents hit their senses: carnations, moonflowers, yellow roses, honeysuckles, petunias, marigolds, and lilies. The scents were too much for the guests' noses and a pink fog started to build in the atmosphere.

Maria started coughing. She told the others she was going to fetch a drink for herself, so she left. Silvy and Alex went with her too because a drink would really soothe their coughing throats right now. But, Hazel kept staring at someone in the pink fog, like she was earlier when the brothers were passing through the streets.

Suddenly, she was sitting on someone's bed. She gasped as soon as she realized that she wasn't outside the city hall, sitting on the guest chairs. She looked around the room and saw pink lights hanging from the white ceiling, illuminating the whole room in pink. The room had a massive closet in the corner and lilies blooming on the bedside table.
