"You have reached your destination, sir."
A soothing voice rings in my mind.
I don't think I'm going to get used to mind magic anytime soon. Even if the voice is nice, it still feels strange. There's no doubt it's banned for normal citizens.
I got up from my chair and exited the train. The scenery in front of me was breathtaking.
**Northern Mountain Range**
Let's think logically. This mountain range is massive. I'll never find that item if I just start searching randomly. I need to narrow down my search range, even if I can't pinpoint it exactly.
I need to make a list of the hints I currently have:
Hint 1: The item was in a cave.
Hint 2: The cave has to be near the sunrise hotel, where all the students stayed during the school trip.
Hint 3: Wait, I only have two hints. Now I regret not specifying the location in the novel.f*** I hate myself.
Complaining here not gonna fix anything. Let's do it.
**one day later**
Ugh, there's no doubt people must have hated my novel.
Damn it, a whole day has already passed and I'm not even close to finding it. I've already searched the left side of the hotel and haven't found anything there. Right now, I'm searching the back of the hotel, but I'm quite far from it – about 2 km in the cold mountains.
Suddenly, the snow collapsed, and I fell into the cave.
F***, F***, F***, F***, F***, F***.My head was bleeding, and my hand was in intense pain. I think I broke it.
I was on the verge of losing consciousness. Clenching my teeth, I fought to stay focused.
Where the hell am I?
I'm in a cave. Maybe it's the same cave I was looking for. I should be happy about finding it, but the intense pain I'm in doesn't let me feel any joy right now.
