Chapter 35:

Extra Chapter- Yuuki

Daydream

Yuuki

I've been a passionate teacher at Yukon High School for about four years now. With a master’s in chemistry and biology, as well as a teacher's degree, some might consider me overqualified for a high school teaching position. However, my love for nurturing young minds and witnessing their growth fuels my enthusiasm for education. Interestingly enough, I was once a student myself in the city of Valley of the 2 Peaks, attending the very same school where I now impart knowledge. Though the years have passed, the halls still retain a sense of familiarity.

One fateful day, I awoke to a bewildering experience, convinced I was ensnared in a terrible dream. As I opened my eyes, I found myself inexplicably naked in an unfamiliar world. Bewildered and desperate for answers, I sought refuge in the nearest house, only to discover its vacancy. I managed to salvage a thin black blanket, providing some semblance of modesty, yet my search for proper clothing proved fruitless. It was then that I resolved to explore my surroundings, descending a staircase with trepidation and the blanket draped around me. To my astonishment, I emerged into an ancient medieval town, as if plucked from the depths of a historical film set in the year 1200. The architecture that greeted my eyes was nothing short of magnificent, captivating testament to the craftsmanship of a bygone era.

"Yuki-sensei!" a voice called out, interrupting my thoughts.

Startled, I turned to face the source of the voice. "Who are you?" I inquired; my voice tinged with uncertainty.

"It's Akari Midori, and this is Kendra," came the response.

Midori and Kendra names that resonated with familiarity. And yet, amidst the surreal circumstances, they appeared to possess vibrant green hair, an astonishing sight to behold. Sensing my immediate need for clothing, they extended their assistance, urging me to follow them. As we navigated the winding paths of the town, their explanation of this enigmatic world began to take shape. Still, it took me several days to truly grasp the reality of my newfound existence a realm beyond the confines of my former life. Yet, with each passing day, the allure of this unknown land and the endless possibilities it held became increasingly captivating.

As my understanding deepened, I embarked on a voyage of exploration and discovery, my scientific inclinations eagerly piqued. Countless experiments filled my days as I sought to unravel the mysteries that lay before me. Amidst my endeavors, a remarkable revelation unfolded a revelation that defied conventional wisdom. Gravity, was about seven times greater then earths gravity in stark contrast to the familiar 9.81 meters/s. I wish I had tools to measure the exact measurement. It was a revelation that left me awe-struck, for it hinted at the sheer magnitude of this world, estimated to be approximately seven times larger than Earth itself. The implications were staggering, presenting a myriad of scientific wonders to be explored. Biological and chemical studies became my allies, guiding me through uncharted realms of knowledge. Yet, I soon found myself confronting a formidable obstacle limited access to the literary works of this captivating realm. It became evident that my quest for knowledge necessitated a journey to the capital, where the secrets of this world might be unveiled.

Three arduous months transpired before I acquired a rudimentary grasp of the local language spoken in the enchanting town of Moonlight. However, the scarcity of books within its boundaries left me yearning for more profound insights. Thus, it became imperative for me to venture to the capital, where an abundance of knowledge awaited my eager embrace. Alchemy emerged as a newfound passion, for within its elusive domain resided a multitude of chemical phenomena that defied conventional understanding. Every discovery ignited a spark within my soul, urging me to delve deeper into the intricate workings of this world.

One fortuitous day, three of my students Chad, Kyle, and Mel—approached me with inquiries regarding gunpowder and its potential applications. Their curiosity stirred a sense of pride within me, as they sought my guidance and wisdom. However, I had to impart a disheartening truth the effects of gunpowder, as understood on Earth, would not translate in this world, burdened by the oppressive weight of gravity. Nevertheless, I pondered the possibility of introducing magic or unexplored elements into the equation, wondering if such novel forces could breathe life into their aspirations. Determined to support them on their journey, I vowed to assist them to the best of my abilities, serving as their unwavering sensei.

And so, my pursuit of knowledge and my unquenchable thirst for discovery continue unabated. With each passing day, I delve deeper into this beguiling world, unravelling its secrets and sharing its wonders with those around me. Rest assured, dear reader, I shall forge ahead on this extraordinary expedition and keep you informed of my progress. Until we meet again!
