Unable to hold my chaotic feeling in check, I stomped my way downstairs, all the while glaring at the door with my eyes full of bloodlust.

Not wanting the offender to walk away Scott free, I opened the door with my full might and screamed out in my loudest voice possible.

"What?!! What is it? You better have something important here.. or I will definitely complain about your service!!"

"W-Wait! Just sign here, please! I don't have a lot of time for this.. I have other places to go too!"

Although I had tried to appear as intimidating as possible by scowling and glaring at the man in front with all my might and had screamed at him as loudly and threateningly as possible, the delivery guy didn't seem to be affected much by my crazy outburst.

The guy simply shoved the box into my arms and pushed a list towards me.

His calm reaction dampened my temper a bit, as I continued to stare at him while trying my best to give off a dangerous aura. That too didn't seem to have much effect at all, as he began to scroll his phone to do something.

A waste of time. Just standing here with this guy is wasting away my brain cells for no reason.

I ended up taking the list and grumpily signed it under Celesta's name.

"Thank you very much! Have a nice day, cute Miss!"

The man gave a cheeky smile and winked and me flirtatiously before he broke into a run straight towards his van and drove off soon.

Not knowing whether to berate myself over my anger control issues or to keep cursing the guy, I slammed the front door heavily and took deep breaths to calm myself down.

I sat down on the nearest sofa and grabbed my head with both hands as I started to feel guilty for letting my frustrations out on the delivery guy.

I was in the wrong after all...

Damn it! I must get myself checked today. There might seriously be something wrong with me. I would be glad if it's just a normal thing... but, if it's not...

While I was trying to vent out any remaining anger and frustrations in the air, the sounds of footsteps came from behind me.

I subconsciously turned to look at the source of it and found out that...

Sis Lin didn't talk much during the drive and only focused on her driving. She did turn on the radio, so the mood inside was very relaxed with some cheerful instrumental music being played on the channel.

It was fine with me though since I really needed to have my level of tension reduced from the totally wrecked state I was in just earlier.

The men in the building around us were all acting like those darned wolves in sheep's clothing, as they all stared at her body and bold dress all the while.

Fuck. Even the women around us were whispering about something with the others while looking weirdly at the two of us.

Too Suspicious! This place... it reeks of trouble everywhere!

Maybe she noticed the sudden stiffness in my body, Sis Lin stopped walking forward suddenly, as she just kept looking at me.

And when I looked back into them, they were only full of genuine concern for me, as she worryingly asked me,

"What happened, Carene? Are you not feeling okay? Do you want to lie down for a while? We can actually take our time here, so there is no trouble at all."

I tried to tell her that I was actually fine, but somehow.. nothing came out of my mouth. I couldn't understand the reason why, but I was feeling extremely tired for some reason. My mood was also the absolute worst as I constantly felt an urge to cry.

Sis Lin didn't wait for my answer though, as she led me towards a waiting chair and made me sit down on it. She then sat down next to me and she began to slowly pat my back in a gentle manner.

Soon enough, the inner turmoil within my mind began to subside and my mood began to stabilize.

After the initial bout of happiness that came from feeling Sis Lin's concern, some amount of guilt as well since I started to feel like I was troubling Sis Lin too much.

After I nodded at Sis Lin once I started to feel a lot better, Sis Lin and I went over to a separate section of the hospital. The receptionist there seemed super busy as she was constantly receiving calls while noting something down in her records.

Once Sis Lin informed the receptionist about our appointment, I noticed that her face stiffened for a moment before she told us to wait inside the Doctor's room.

After making our way towards it, the two of us entered the room and sat down at the designated client's seats.
