Guardian Angel and Future planning

Currently I am on second date with Philia san in the interrogation room.

Ofcourse this time too there is a third wheel here.

I want to continue this delusion for as long as it will last.

On a serious note I decided to ask something.

(Philia san, Is it alright for me to stay here without paying anything...

I am even being provided with food and clothes, on top of that...

Is there anything I can help with?)

After I said that Philia san made a thinking pose and started discussing it with Robert san.

He said something about talking to the commander Barnabus and went out of room.

Meanwhile Philia san and I continued our talk.

(Yeah. Personally I think you should not worry about such things and depend on elders...

But it is also true that, one should work if one wants to eat...

So I and Robert san have discussed about leaving some chores for you to be done for our regiment if you are willing...

Listening to my request, Philia san was not sure of how to answer me, she was clearly conflicted. But then she decided something.

Also this city is called Detroit it seems.

If I remember correctly there was also a city in the US by the name of Detroit, on earth.

And I think Detroit means something related to city on stream of water joining two lakes , if I remember correctly.

Coincidently there was that stream of water that I followed to reach here.

Was the naming of this city done by an otherworlder like me? Seems possible.

Moreover, the world's name and the name of common language is same, that is Ellisium language.

It is a good idea to learn that, if I want to live here properly.

But I donot want to cause any more trouble for Philia san.

She has already done so much for us. I truly feel lucky that she was the one in charge here, when I came.

Otherwise I donot know what would have happened to me or Lily.

She is like a guardian angel onee san.

Although I am older that her mentally. But she is so mature and caring that she deserves to be called so.

(But Philia san should be busy right. I donot wish to trouble you....

I can definitely wait patiently till the investigation is over...

Yeah, she is too enthusiastic.

Even her thoughts, that are being translated to me in my brain are becoming very excited.

There is no helping it.

Just then Robert san arrived and after he talked to Philia san, I was told that, the commander had agreed to me taking care of some chores and he even laready asked for permission for me to go out.

Seems like Robert san already anticipated that I wanted to go to the market.

Thankfully that permission was also given and I was told by Philia san that a suitable personal who will be free, will accompany me to the city later today.

Till then I was told that I could do whatever I wanted in the compound here.

The room assigned to me was the same.

Now that I had free time till lunch, I will rest in the room.

Bidding them goodbye I went back to the room and decided to lie on the bed.

I went near the bucket of water to see how my face looked like.

But since it was wooden one and light source was not at right angle, there was not much refection there.

Giving up I again laid on bed.

I started reminiscing everything that happened in two days.

I died, then goddess said she will give me 10 skills and send me here to develop this world but also told that I was free to live as I please, cause the destiny will guide me unless I turn into a hazardous maniac.

After that I was sent to the Ghalia Forest.

There I discovered that I have scan, item box, and conceal skills.

So out of 10, I have figured out 3 for sure.

Rest are unsure cause I don't know if its general body performance or a passive skill.

Then I saw Lily being taken by goblins.

I then killed some and by some luck was able to save Lily.

I also saw ferocious monsters like the named leader of Goblins 'haidar' and the Black Panther.

There also, due to good luck I got saved.

It seems although I get into sticky situations but I somehow avoid danger by luck.

My destiny seems to be a troublesome one. I am sure its all because of that Goddess.

That reminds me, I didn't even ask her name. Will I meet her again?

Lets try visiting a temple or whatever religious structure they have. According to the tropes, I may be able to see her again there.

Then I can complain to her a little, and maybe get some information in exchange.

Anyway after that somehow I was able to reach this city Detroit carrying Lil .

Then I met Philia san, my guardian angel and the third wheel uncle Robert san.

I also met a mixed elf doctor Helium sensei who is taking care of Lily now.

Then I was interrogated and spent a night here.

Morning I trained with the soldiers and met Barnabus san, who despite being a commoner (according to my deduction) is the Commander of the third platoon of towns guard regiment of this country.

I also had an awkward encounter with Mary Greenwich san and sherry Greenwich san.

Then I got the news that Lily was doing fine but needs rest, and after that we can take her to her village if the troublesome things settle down.

And now I will live here until then and in exchange I will be given some chores to do.

What a crazy first day in this new world and somehow I survived, thankfully.

But my mind is stable. I donot feel tired or scared.

Is it because of this body or is it because my experience in past life was more horrible mentally? I don't know.

Now lets plan my routine on basis of what I want to do.

The first is obviously information. I donot know anything.

I mean I don't even know what I look like.

So I should slowly gather information, without anybody getting doubtful of me.

I will gather information about this world's situation.

Things like geography, name and location of major countries, races present in this world and their relation with each other, like which is hostile or friendly to which.

Also if there is a demon lord or a hero here.

I also want to know about my Ancient Human Race.

Then I want to know about magic and skills.

This is so because, if I donot know how to use them, I will not be able to use my full potential.

Especially I want to know all my skills and if possible acquire more skills through training if possible.

Since I plan to do adventures in this world, I want to be strong.

I also want to know if dungeons and ancient ruins exist. If so then I will explore them.

Another thing is about monsters.

Like do they have magic stones in them because the light magic tools in this room seem to be using them. Is there a level up system in this world.

If so does killing monsters increases level or it increases with age.

Do the natives also level up, if so then do they have any appraisal type skill to measure it?

The list goes on, the things to discover are infinite.

Food, clothes, weapons, magic items, entertainment.

Everything is new here. I will enjoy this world by exploring all of it slowly.

First step is to learn language.

Thanks to Philia san, I think somebody will teach me basic for the time I am here.

After that is training. That is also something I can learn here from Barnabus san.

I am sure he will allow me. And then about money and prices of things etc.

That also will be learnt in today's trip to city.

So in all, being held here has proved to be quite useful and I was able to form good connections with some awesome and kind people too.

I fortunately have stumbled upon good people. Again it seems my luck has worked.

It must be Goddess's plan. Sorry for doubting you Megami sama.

Then I also want to know about adventures guild.

Since Philia san talked about ID card of guild so that means they exist here.

So I definitely want to register if the adventurer guild are as good as depicted in novels.

Next I will have to visit a library if there is one, to gather information.

With that I was able to summarize my thoughts and was able to form a plan for the future.
