The adventure's guild

In my past life I always wished to travel to isekai world of sword and magic and become an adventurer.

My dream has finally come true somehow and here I am taking my first step to become an adventurer.

Stopping from reminiscing my past, I decided to enter the adventurer's guild.

I then took a deep breath and entered the much awaited guild.

The gates were made of wood and they were wide and open.

At the side of building is a courtyard, again with big gates.

That seems to be dismantling area. Maybe monster materials are brought there for appraisal and selling.

There is also a stable and parking area built on the right side of the building.

The whole complex is the size of a big shopping mall although its only 3 floor building.

Entering the gate, I found the similar scenery as is always described in novels.

There were counters in the front, about 10 of them.

All of them attended by beautiful female receptionists although there were 3 males too.

The receptionists were beast men and humans mixed.

There were not many adventurers inside, since it was afternoon.

Maybe most of them were out on their work. But still what a site. I am getting Goosebumps here you know.

The few adventurers that were there were mostly human and beast men again.

No elf, dwarf or any other species was present. They were all looking at the quests posted on the boards.

Since I could not read I did not know what they were.

But since there were multiple boards, it seems that they were divided rank wise.

Some adventurers were also going to the first floor. From looks of it, that looked like an area for higher rank adventurers.

I took some distance from the door and pretended to look at a board of requests and from there started scanning all people.

Of course all I got was their names and races but I just wanted to see if anyone was hiding their race just like that fake old lady Charlotte at the potion shop.

Since that vampire incident, I never miss to scan anyone I see.

It's a little hassle but safety is always important. You never know when something like this might come in hand.

Looking at all of the people at the guild, no one was suspicious it seems.

Now I had a choice to choose which receptionist to go to.

One of them who is less busy is dog eared Onee san but she is gives an expression of aloofness.

Another five of them are busy with adventurers and there are long lines at their counters.

3 of the men are free but should I really talk to a man instead, I don't know. I mean it would be better for someone shy like me but still I want to overcome my complexes.

The last remaining is the most beautiful lady here. She is at the level of Philia san in terms of beauty.

But mind it I have not seen Philia sna without helmet yet, so I am sure Philia san will surpass everyone, once her full face with hair comes to view.

This beautiful receptionist is a human by the named Gloria. Pink Shoulder length fluffy hair and cute type.

Not much to speak about her chest though. She is cute and beautiful.

But not my type.

She seems to be the type of woman who know they are beautiful and take advantage of men because of that.

Also there are 4 adventurers surrounding her and from their tone its clear that they are just flirting with her.

And she is just filing her nails while replying to them without paying much attention.

Well its not good to judge people just by their looks, but her personality is literally speaking that she is nothing but trouble.

Pink hair characters are the most annoying ones in novels and amines, especially if they have short hair. That was also true in one of my favorite ninja anime.

Jokes aside even if she is a good person, it will not be wise to provoke those hoodlums surrounding her.

Although I do want to hear the famous 'Go to your home and drink your Mama's milk' line but maybe some other time.

In that case the best choice will be the dog eared aloof Onee san .

Also she will not make much noise even if I ask dumb questions and simply answer them in aloofness maybe.

That's a good reason atleast. Ok who am I kidding, beast ears are justice. lets go

So she is a wolfman not dogman and her name is Tina.

But she has droopy golden brown ears on her hair just like a retriever.

How can a wolf have droopy ears?. Its total mystery.

Her eyes are brown and her face is aloof and makes me feel sleepy for some reason.

She herself seems to be asleep while her eyes are open.

Also there is quite a large volume there. It is comparable to Philia san's. She is about 5 feet 3 inches tall.

She wears a white and green dress, that resembles that worn by female idols.

All the receptions are wearing similar dress with different color though. Is there a significance in the color.

Since she was free so I went to her and stood in front of her.

Just standing near her is making me feel giddy and sleepy.

Is she invoking some kind of magic or am I really just tired. She is a wolf with dog ears and her personality is that of a cat. What a mystery.

Since she still seemed dazed even after I tapped on the desk in front of her, I decided to just form a telepathy connection to her and spoke to her in mind.

(Excuse me miss?. I want to register as an adventurer. Can it be done here?)

She definitely spoke. I am sure. But that tone was so sleepy.

It was so surprising that I almost swore out loud, not that it will matters though.

And seems like she has preferences about the way of calling her. Let's try then.

I handed her that. After receiving it, she got up and went somewhere in the back rooms.

Seriously, what is with this receptionist. How can she be allowed to work here with such personality?

Do they not review their work and only consider the beauty of receptionists?

She is definitely cute and fluffy. Maybe she might be just kept here as a mascot.

Fluffy quiet sleeping dog laying around, giving peace to all.

Yup that's it. Maybe it was not good to make the mascot work after all.

While I was having such stupid thoughts, Tina san returned from back with a paper and a pen and handed it over to me.

The paper in this world seems to be of decent quality and pen is also an ink pen, that is filled with liquid ink from back.

I took the form but I do not even know how to read let alone write.

Before I could complete my sentence she snatched the pen and paper from me.

Onee chan seems to be the keyword for running this mascot cat-dog wolf woman.

Is she a magic tool with chant keyword Onee chan? LOL.

She started writing the information.

She then asked about my age, gender, race, birthplace, skills, weapon choice etc.

As for my birthplace I said a nameless small village near Dradal (The farthest place that Milli chan told me about).

For skill I told her that I did not know. Weapon choice of course sword.

Even after giving her very suspicious answers, she did not even bat her eye.

Just wrote whatever I told and told me to put my thumb print at the end.

Do they have thumb print detectors here? Maybe the otherworlders developed that too.

That Goddess needs to check her technology again. She told me that her world was not that advanced but here I get shocked by such advance tech every day.

After that Tina san told me to follow her. She took me to the back room in a place where a big magic tool was kept.

She told me to place my hand on a white ball attached to a big tool.

I asked her what it was, but she just ignored me and instructed me to do as I was told.

Well here goes nothing. Thinking so I put my hand on the ball.

The ball then sucked some of my MP, and the whole tool started glowing.

Then after some time the ball started glowing bright blue.
