I am with Milli chan the dauther of Martha san who runs the Honey bear den inn but the situation is quite troublesome.

She does not want me to go from the inn for some reason.

(Milli chan...I would have to go one day or another you know….

And I already promised you that I will visit here at least once a week...

Moreover if you ever felt like meeting me you could always come to the orphanage.)

I did not know she had become so attached to me in only 2 days.

Maybe my being worried for her, made her fond of me.

Currently I am patting Milli chan on her head while she is sitting on a chair in front of me in my room.

If it would have been the past me, being alone with a girl would have given me heart attack.

Her story was no different than I had imagined.

Her father was a part time adventurer and when the earning at the inn was not enough, he used to go for quests.

At first I was a very nervous but after after sometime my heartbeat calmed down.

I think I somehow developed some resistance.

Let’s just think of something else. Maybe I can sit and study with her. Yes that way all my bad thoughts will also go away.

So I took out the guild booklet and the alphabet chart that Tina san gave me and asked Milli chan to help me study.

She agreed on the condition that I would come to the inn atleast once in 3 days to eat food.

I don’t know if that was because she was a good salesman or it was because she would miss me.

After some time her mother came and I said good bye to Milli.

Finally I was able to lock the door and call it a day.

Morning I woke up and thought about the last night. What was the gift Milli chan was talking about?. Did she forget?

I then finished my routine and went down to have the last breakfast here.

Martha san was there.

When I told her that I would be leaving the inn today. She said that she was already informed by Milli.

After eating the food, I asked her where Milli chan was.

Martha san said that Milli chan would be here shortly and She told me to wait until she returned.

I went to my room for the last time. After everything was packed, I looked at the now empty room and felt nostalgic even though it has been only a day.

It was a nice room and my stay here was good, although I only came here to sleep.

There was a Knock on the door and Milli chan had come again.

Today she was wearing a one piece dress that was frilly and light blue in color.

Milli chan came towards me and beckoned me to lean down to her level.

After that she told me to close my eyes.

After I did that she tied something around my wrist and gave me a kiss on cheek.

I opened my eyes from being surprised by the kiss

I saw that she was standing in front of me smiling bashfully with hands at back and her body leaning on one side.

I then looked at my arm and it was a band.

(Milli chan …What is this?)

(This is a …bracelet charm. It is like a band that keeps your friends safe. See I also have the same one. Now we are matching.)

Seriously. She was acting so cute being embarrassed.

Previously she was like a naughty teasing girl and somehow she has transformed into a this.

When I scanned the band It was a simple accessory item.

Thank god it was not a magic tool. Otherwise I would not know how to accept it.

I can now imagine what Philia san felt like when I gave her the protective charm

But still Just what the hell happened to her. I did not know that my little worry could change her so much.

Or maybe she was originally like this. The previous one was her acting like that to garner attention.

She giggles and I patted her head.

We then went down together. I said my final goodbyes to the Mama bear and daughter.

I went to the orphanage and met Zephy san.

She then guided me to a room with two bunk beds. So I will have to share my room with 3 other people.

She told me that Lily had requested to stay with me, so one of my roommate was going to be lily.

Is that Ok, a boy living with a girl. Maybe since I am 16 and Lily is just a child of 9, it is fine.

Lily has already settled in the room and was very happy to see me again.

I took the upper bed above Lily. The other 2 children were Nina chan and Shuna chan. Both sisters and cat beastmen.

Nina is 7 year old, cute child with pure white hair and ears. Her white eyelashes are very long and she has a quiet personality. Her level is 4.

Shuna is 9 years just like Lily and has mixed white and black hair. One ear white and other black but not completely.

She too has cute face and has a caring personality for her sister. Her level is 5

They are first friends that Lily made here so they are living together.
