Chapter 7:

The First Problem

Reborn as a Prince in Another World

I met Luna again on the sixth day of my new life.

It was a cloudy and cool day. I was excited and eager to see her. I wanted to spend more time with her. I wanted to have more fun with her.

I asked my parents if I could go to the city and explore. They agreed, but they also assigned me a guard to accompany me. They said it was for my safety and security. They said there were many dangers and enemies in this world. They said I had to be careful and vigilant.

I didn't argue with them. I understood their concern and love for me. But I also felt annoyed and restricted by them. I wanted to have some freedom and adventure in this life. I wanted to have some fun and excitement in this life.

I decided to ditch the guard and go on my own.

I waited until he was distracted by something or someone. Then I slipped away from him and ran into the crowd. I blended in with the people and disappeared from his sight.

I felt a thrill of adrenaline and joy in my chest.

I felt like I had escaped from a prison and entered a paradise.

I felt like I had started a new game and entered a new level.

I was free and happy in this life.

I went to the park where I met Luna yesterday. I hoped to find her there again. I wanted to surprise her and make her happy.

I arrived at the park and looked around. I saw many people and creatures, enjoying the nature and the fresh air. I saw children playing games and laughing. I saw couples holding hands and kissing. I saw families having picnics and chatting.

But I didn't see Luna.

I felt disappointed and worried.

Where was she?

Did something happen to her?

Did she forget about me?

Did she not want to see me?

I decided to wait for her at the bench where we sat yesterday. Maybe she was just late or busy. Maybe she would come soon or later.

I sat on the bench and waited for her.

I waited for a long time.

But she didn't come.

I felt sad and angry.

Why didn't she come?

Did she lie to me?

Did she trick me?

Did she use me?

I decided to leave the park and look for her elsewhere. Maybe she was somewhere else in the city. Maybe she had a good reason for not coming.

I got up from the bench and walked away.

But then I saw her.

She was walking towards me from the opposite direction. She had a backpack on her shoulder and a smile on her face. She looked relaxed and peaceful, unaware of me.

She was Luna.

But she was not alone.

She was with another boy.

He was about my age or older. He had short black hair and brown eyes. He had a handsome face and a muscular body that attracted many gazes.

He had a confident smile and a loud voice that charmed many hearts.

He was holding her hand and whispering in her ear and making her laugh and making me jealous and making me angry and making me hurt and making me hate.

He was her boyfriend.
