Chapter 1:

Discovery

Forced To Survive

The dampness of water shovelling the dry sand mirroring the sunlights reflecting the warm hue of colours, Without any idea of where they were there was a comfort embracing him in this new world, A paradise only few ever achieve was at the each of just his fingers.

Left and right, left and right, he studied his surroundings, Vast ocean stretching as far as the horizon, and behind him a jungle which is more dense than a rock. Around half the class nowhere to be seen around him, he wanders where they are.

"TACO OVER HERE"

he swings his head to left hoping to get a glimpse of who's calling him, It was Miru and her gang waiting for him and beckoning him over, Taco still pondering where they have been taken to has no reason to deny their calls.

"Hey taco you know, were on this island with no idea how to get off or even what dangers are ahead, I think us joining together would be a great idea"

Taco smirks at the fact she's trying so hard to get him but didn't realise the next step, at a moment glance khay is already beside Taco trying to grab his arm and convince him with her beautiful and innocent act, Almost as if she couldn't live a single minute without him in their group. Taco isn't a generic dense romcom character that can't even think so he realises the bitter attempt to persuade him.

"You know miru, I'm not really sure what this place is but I'm fine for now, I reckon I could get by anyway, And hey that's more food if you manage to find any for yourself"

Wise or not, Taco knows the reputation that group has had and does not wish to be associated at all, He hears shuffling behind miru to see she already becoming what everyone's fears, A leading figure with a group of five people, Seeing the disorganised pink haired girl and the orderly strict girl it was obvious that Jaz and yui joined. For the odd reason this one time Yui and Jaz stayed very quiet, too quiet. He dismissed the weird act for now.

Once again looking over at the beach to see any wandering souls traversing the dry sand, he manages to find no one, All gone searching, gathering and camping. Before taco gets a chance to leave towards the jungle he gets his shoulder grabbed and firmly put in place, turning around it was kevin.

"Word of advice Taco, I saw people in the jungle, A perfect opportunity to leave isn't it? We don't need you anymore"

He was smiling but it wasn't the type of smile that a friend or partner would give, colder than the sand he was standing on and sharper than a blade, it was threatening. Seeing Miru and the rest take a walk on the beach, he decides to step away from taco and join the rest almost as if nothing ever happened between them, Taco considered it a threat and a not a friendly game or nothing, he wasn't about to let Kevin destroy anything of what his life is left. Determination flamed through his mind to make Kevin apologise for his choice of words.

Walking up to trees as tall as four story houses and bushes filled with thorns, The jungle wasn't the the most welcoming place, The atmosphere was dense and dry despite the damp surface it portrayed, This isn't a game where you enter a nice jungle and hope to find a temple with armour and tools with upbeat music, It was the unknown of possible danger and food of some sort, presumably where the others are currently, dead or alive. And Taco would at some point or another need shelter, food and water, maybe if he's lucky a teammate.

The thickness and never ending path seems like would lead to a hidden treasure, and it did but not in the form of items nor loot, three fit guys that seem to be in an open area of some sort, too busy to see him staring, building of what seems to be a house if that's a words possible to describe sticks and leaves stacked on top of each other, The one and only winning group, the football team.

"Hey guys stand still before I shoot you all" said in a half joking tone

The four of them get their wooden spear sticks out and take cover to seek out their surroundings, taco reveals himself.

"It was just me joking around calm down"

"You know threatening people isn't a good way to introduce yourself after being transported to this place" -Ardit

"I doubt your little sticks would harm a rock hard professional like me"

"Professional or not your head would be stick on top going for the time it goes down" -Manu

"Shut up both you" -rk

"Anyway have you four seen anyone else or got anything to help me out"

"Don't eat the pink berries" -rk

The three of them nod in agreement,

"Saber picked one and said you will never know if you don't try and that attitude got him lying down for the rest of the day"

Taco will definitely keep that in mind.

"We also have a horn so if we need help or anyone does we blow it every hour"

"Wouldn't expect anything less from you all, I I will keep heading forward and see the approximate size of this place"

They all nod and wish Taco luck, he sets off going and walking through thorns and trees, occasionally some sort of wildlife, birds being the most common.

The darkness of night and the calmness of light are at its peak when the moonlight rains down on everything, finally after a dangerous and exciting day of exploring, which seems around midnight, he sees an end to the jungle.

Jumping onto the scene, he stands there motionless, his eyes wide open in shock and disbelief. Before him lies a nightmarish scene, a grotesque and harrowing sight that chills him to the bone. The ground beneath his feet is stained a dark and dirty shade of red, as if the very earth itself has been tainted by the horror that transpired here.

Dark crimson blood flows like a sinister river through the coarse sand, pooling into a gruesome puddle that reflects the sickly moonlight. In that vile pool, the remnants of a human body lie, torn and mutilated, its once whole form now reduced to only the top half with guts spreaded all over the ground. Nature, in its merciless cruelty, has begun to reclaim this forsaken flesh, gnawing at it with relentless hunger, leaving nothing but a gruesome testament to its voracious appetite.

As he walks closer, dread knotting in his stomach, he notices the unmistakable school uniform, now drenched and muddied in the sickening red of death. The moon's feeble light casts an eerie glow upon this horrifying scene, exposing every sordid detail. The eyes, once windows to a soul, now stare vacantly into the abyss, devoid of any flicker of life or humanity. They are the colour of stone, cold and unfeeling, bearing witness to the unfathomable terror that gripped their owner in their final moments.

It was a lovestruck student that will never see the light again.
