Chapter 55 - a date with everyone?

Sunrise in the morning, but the funny thing is that I'm not alone, Priscilla and Sylvia are beside me. The sun rises, illuminating our sleepy faces and giving us a gentle reminder that it's time to get up. How the hell did that happen? There is something behind Mariam's back, a camera? She is smiling right now. No way, if she shares with Nat, I'm dead... I guess I'll just have to try to stay one step ahead of them and keep the camera out of view!

“Good morning?” I greeted her while Mariam rolled her eyes at me as she smiled in greeting. 

'Morning...great day eh?' Mariam has a confusing question for me, and I'm in a trap because of the two girls on my hands at the moment. i replied to her politely. 

“Yeah…” I need that camera of hers, otherwise I'm dead if she shares it with Mom, Hana, or Nat. My only option is to take her down and destroy the evidence. I'll have to do it before she has a chance to share the evidence. I can't afford any mistakes. I have to make sure she won't ever tell a soul. I guess I'll just have to make sure she doesn't share the evidence...by making sure she never speaks again. It's the first exercise of the day to chase Mariam and kill her.

“You’re dead!!! I shouted at her as I jumped off the hammock. She managed to avoid it and jump off while taunting me at the same time. “Hahaahah!!!!!! "What a bitch she is, shaking her butt at me!! I forgot Amin was tethered to a rope. is it because I beat Amin last night? 

“That’s what you for knocking out my honey….kukukuku…”

Slyvia and Priscilla woke up, and she said to me

“Morning Darling….” Sylvia

“Mornin babe…” Priscilla

Looks like everyone have wake up, but I was wondering where is Amin.

“Hey Mar?” i asked Mariam

“Yeah?” Mariam replied

“Where is Amin?” asking Mariam wondering where he is 

“He went off buying some breakfast for us…” Mariam said to me and is there any shop here in this friggin island?

Amin arrived and he brought some breakfast and drinks for us.

“Hey Marsila brought us some nasi lemak here everyone!!” Amin called us for breakfast

“damn I really hungry from yesterday” Mariam

“Yay!!! Finally food!!” Priscilla

“Thank god…” Sylvia

We have breakfast together, but I realise something that this is an island there must be something that i could see here. I went out and climb the roof I realise its really pristine and beautiful, I called everyone.

“Hey everyone!! Look!!”

“Waaaa!!! That is really beautiful, I really wanted to dip in!!!” Mariam

“Dammit its really beautiful!!” Amin

“Lucky that we brought our swim suit!!” Everyone change their swim suit. Mariam wore a sports two piece bikini while, Prisiclla used her diving two piece bikini. While Sylvia is wearing a really sexy two piece bikini, damn she is really hot or I should say the two of them is really hot. I could hear a camera shutter here. Dammit it's Mariam again!!

“Hey!!!” i tried to catch Mariam.

“Flustered aren’t ya!!! Mr Playboy!!” We were playing in the waters but I took the chance talking to Sylvia

“Sorry though not the ideal date for us though…” i felt really not a time a date but Sylvia hold my arm and smile at me.

“You know dummy, this is the best time I had in years!!” She pull my arm and push me out to the water I went down, damn the water is really crystal clear you could see the surface itself. Then Diana join as well, including Marsila who actually is her cousin.

Mariam then got us all together and took a group shot. I'm sitting right there between two girls' boobs, so one thing's for sure, they're not giving me space. I'm pretty sure my face is redder than the tomatoes in the salad.

“Say cheese!!!!”

“Cheese!!!!” The camera shutter were taken and we continued to play in the waters. At least we are having fun. We having a day ourself, we are trying to immerse the beauty of the nature in this place. Just swimming here is enough for us to forget what really happen last night.

Since we staying in this island might as well explore the whole island itself. Along the way, we manage to climb the highest point of the island the Banggi peak, it was spectacular, we could see the surrounding island itself.

All that for this moment even the shocking discovery of my own past, my best friend past. I have to accept it. Although that incident really give me a thinking about my own self. What am I anyway? Am I really a monster? With all of the past event, I realise myself that I’m capable what others don’t physically.

Sylvia hold my arm and said to me

“What’s wrong?” 

“oh its nothing…” i replied to her 

“Still thinking about last night?” Sylvia must be wondering if i'm still thinking about last night. 

“uh…yeah…” i replied to her. 

While we slowly return back towards the docks it's about time we head home. While we head home Priscilla and Mariam were extremely tired since last night. Amin said to me

“Bro, I guess we head back to rest at the guest house while waiting for Diana preparing for the boat…”

Sylvia pull my arm and lead me to the beach again, We're still in our bathing suits. This time is really like a real date. Although there is nothing for us to hang around. But there is a coconut tree there.

“Hey, wait up Sil…” i asked her wait because i plan to pick some coconut for us to enjoy.

“Huh?” Sylvia wondering what have happen as I climb up the tree and take 2 coconut, and drop it.

“Are real monkey eh?” That is Sylvia that I know of.

“Well rather we died of thirst might as well this as part of our date…” I open the coconut with my knife, and we hang around at the beach while listening to wind, and the waves with the glistening reflection of the light itself.

Me and Sylvia sat on the sandy beach, looking at the horizon.

Shit this is really quite neither one of us is talking about anything! Gotta start this conversation but seems like Sylvia is starting it.

“You know, I never imagine doing all this with friends, traveling together…I mean really enjoy school..” she started to reflecting what really happen between in school. 

“You beat me to it..” In fact, I do take Natalie on a date to the Grand Canyon. What bothers me the most about Sylvia is that she mirrors Natalie and Frederica every time.

While enjoying the natural drinks, it was such peace that I look forward, with so much crazy moments but all has to end because it's time for me head to America again. 

"So you're going there after this date, aren't you? " Despite her sad face, she showed strength behind that sadness, which made me fall in love with her.

“Yeah….” i replied to her question and suddenly she approach me closer 

“Promise me Alex…” she started to get serious about this.

“What is it…. Sil?” Sylvia getting close to me, her lips is really close to me.

“I don't want you to fall into darkness, but if you do....” Her lips pressed against mine. It causes me to close my eyes. I can't believe this is a real lovers kiss. My ears were then whispered to by her.

“Keep me in your thoughts...I will be your light” The smile and the look on her face enlighten me. Dear Allah, please guide me from your test. I genuinely love and care about Sylvia and Natalie, but I would like her to choose her own path and not sacrifice her life for me. More than ever, I love her just like Natalie did.

We embrace by the beach, yet not by lust, I do not feel it, the urge to be intimate but a sincere feeling of trust, of safety, what being in love is. Sorry Priscilla, Siti but Sylvia is the one that I’m in love. Our forehead and nose touch each other symbolise our bond as we both close our eyes. 

The serenity of the sea, neither all of it I care, just between me and Sylvia is matter most. it a moment of pause, suddenly Sylvia pull me and she said to me. 

“Come on darling!! Let go back home!!” she said that its time to go back home. 

“Yeah!!” i agreed with her. 

Once we return back seems everyone was rested and Diana already prepared the boat for the return back home.

“Honey told me that you guy have return back…” seems like they hold our luggage.

“You guys are going back wearing only that!!” Priscilla is really upset

“Bro…I can’t back this time” Amin see me and Sylvia is still wearing the swim suit. 

Me and Sylvia smile and laugh at them. We wave Marsila and the villager farewell, and return back to Kudat.

Is it just me or I just saw Frederica from a far waving me goodbye. But the one I’m surprised the most is Sylvia.

“Isn’t that?” Sylvia saw Frederica as well, that is surprising does that mean Frederica accepted her ?

“That’s Frederica..” i replied to Sylvia

“Then its goodbye then…” Sylvia wave goodbye and seems like this is between the two of us. 

Once we reach at the docks and wave Diana farewell. We freshen up and change our clothing. We immediately head back home, its a long 2 hours drive back, first was Priscilla waving us goodbye, then Amin and Mariam. Leaving us only 2 of us.

“Thanks darling for the date!!” Slyvia hugged me really hard to the point I realise that I could feel her nipples. Shit!!

“Hey what are you doing right now, hold your horses!!! We going to crash if you keep like this!!” i'm really turn on by this 

“Nope!!” Sylvia won't let go of me. 

Once we reach home. The only thing right now mom and Hana is waiting outside with both of us we given a lecture that we don’t forget. We both smile and laugh.

Steward is there as well “big sis!! About time!!” He pull her ears while Hana beat me down with drop kick really hard.

“It was fortunate that Mariam and Amin is there…”

I did not realise that Sylvia manage to make a seashell jewel for Hana, Tama and mom. While Sylvia looking after them. Mom suddenly said to me

“I heard you going to LA right?”

“Yeah….”

“I’m really happy that you have experience true love…” it is strange for a mother suddenly being open to this, as if i'm just..never mind. i replied to mom back. 

“Yeah..I know…” i just had a feeling that mom is planning something. 

“That means you are ready to see her…” mom's right, its time and i replied to her

“Yep..” its time for me 

"Mom really likes Sylvia, she's like a daughter to me already...but Natalie is also a favorite of mine," she said.

“Yeah” mom does like the two of them. 

“Goodness my son is really lucky to have two person that really cared you the most…”

I know that someone that I really care is here as well and I know she will support me while I’m going there. I pack my bags and preparing myself for the travels to LA soon.
