CHAPTER 1

Prologue

Beep..beep..beep

The nurse rushed in as she heard the sound, rushing in she spotted a figure glistened with the warm light of sun, sitting and looking outside the window.

She rushed outside as she called for the doctor, "doctor...doctor... the patient in room V.906 is awake"

The doctor rushed in, ready with the equipment, he signaled the nurse to check the readings on the monitor and checked her pulse, after two minute a man and a woman rushed in , the man abruptly asked the doctor how is she, after taking some time and optimizing the results the doctor said "You are awake , good to have you back miss "Hailey"

Present day

Ring...

The silent corridor filled with footsteps as a voice ran please step aside, Hearing the voice two girls in their 18s looked back, but unable to react on time the one at the right collide with a young man in the similar age, they stagger as the objects in the hand of the girl falls off.

"Can't you see.. Where are you going?"

"So..sorry... are..are you okay" the boy shuttered

"its okay Emily" the girl said picking her stuff.

"I..i..am really sorry" the boy said once again helping her to pick he stuff up.

"He..here" he said as he give the stuff to her

"Thanks.." the girl replied with a gentle tone as she looked up, the hair on her face slide like water on a smooth surface, revealing her beautiful face with the warmth of sunlight

But the reaction is not what on could expect , he was shocked as he show her , no more like a mixture of excitement and shock... his hand trembled as the objects in his hand falls

"hello... are you okay.. did you need any help" she asked waving her and in front of him yet the only thing he could see was a blurred face flashing with some memories of a child forwarding her and with a soft childish voice " are you okay"..

"Lets go Hailey.. the classes have started already , you are going to be late on your first day in college" Emily said pulling her off

Emily's voice pulled him off to the present as he abruptly put the objects into Hailey's hand and ran.

"I..am really sorry" he shouted in a low voice

"what a weirdo.., lets go Hailey" Emily said as they leave.

CHAPTER -1

"Kids say hello to her... she is your new friend.. she will be visiting us frequently" a woman in her 40s, wearing a white printed long skirt said as she introduce the small kids to a girl about the same age as them.

The figures were clear yet the face of the girl and the two people behind her was blurry...

"Hello my name is [ ]" she said to a timid boy trying to hide behind the woman.

"[ ] go say hello to her" she pushed him a little

"He..hel..hello" the boy said in a tone, as he were to cry at any moment.

"Alex, Alex...Alex..." a faint voice rang until it became very clear when something hit his head

"Ow... Alex jolted, he piked up the marker while rubbing his head, as he raise his head he found the whole class laughing on him, while the professor sternly looking at him.

"Mr. Alex can you care to explain what I have just explained here, while you have lost in those little sweet dreams of yours" the professor asked

Alex stood up, without uttering a single word bowing his head down.

"If you want to sleep you can go out and sleep, can you now please care to leave"

Alex packed his bag and left the classroom.

"Hah! Why does it happened on the first day of the college, why does it always happen to me... Uuhh Alex can't you just focus" he said scolding himself

"Well I don't know is she "her" but she looks the same, it might've been my speculation.. aah its very confusing"

Alex then head to the library and set at the corner bench, he opened his laptop and starts doing some programming on it, while noting some points in his notebook kept beside it.

But soon after he found himself thinking about Hailey, he taps on his face again to regain focus but yet again after some time he unknowingly got diverted towards her.

"Uhh lets go get some 'Filter Coffee', then restart"

-The college cafeteria have all sorts of brand of food , plus with a variety of coffee which the college manage itself, its also one of the reason why the cafeteria is so popular.

The cafeteria was not crowded as the classes were still going on, Alex took a table at the corner and sat down.

"Hmm now lets think carefully and never think about it after this again" he said to himself

"She might be her, might be not, but if she is her the doesn't she remembers me? What if she remembers me? But it doesn't seems to be the case, yeah she might not remembers me"

"After all I am not that special, just a childhood friend she might have had"

His shoulder slumped as he left a huge sigh, "Your filter coffee is ready sir" the waitress said placing the coffee on his table

"Thank you" Alex said politely

He drank the coffee sip by sip, while taking a look at the T.V screen, "The daughter of CEO of H-Group has finally woken up form comma after 2 years, as you all have know...."

Alex finished this coffee and head back to the library, As he head to his pervious location he noticed a girl with black hair lightly hinted with brown, was sitting in front of his, although he felt a little familiar vibe from her but he decide to ignore her and sat on his chair and start working on his laptop.

The both continued till the girl broke the silence, "umm.. hey did you know which shelf contain the book for art major?"

Alex replied instantly "The 3rd one", but just after he finish speaking he notice that the voice sound strangely familiar, he looked up and notice Hailey sitting in front of him.

He shuttered abruptly "oh..um...hello...sorry...um.. Miss hai..hailey"

she chuckled, "oh you were the one from morning, take it easy, I am not gonna scold you or anything."

"Umm.. Hello..well..I am really sorry for earlier" he apologized with his head down

"Hey Its okay, its just a mistake , its okay"

"Th..thanks Miss Hailey"

"well you can just call me Hailey, being called Miss fells a bit odd" as she stood up and start to move

"O..okay"

"Anyway thanks Alex for the help" she said turning back

Listening to her a warm energy followed through his heart, while his palms became warmer.

"Ho..how do you know my name?" he asked

"Well.. we are classmates after all, and by know almost everyone in the class would have know your name" she chuckled while replying

Alex fells a bit ashamed, but most of all his heart sank a little "well what I was even expecting"

he replied with a short smile, as Hailey leaves, afterward Alex head to attend other classes of his majors.

-The college ends at four at noon, with the bustling crowd at cafeteria and the open ground near the garden, most of the students came by their own vehicle, mostly bikes, while some goes on foot and bicycle, Alex was one of them he doesn't have enough to buy a bike or a four wheeler so he uses a bicycle.

He remove the stand of the bicycle and head towards home, he slowly continue to ride on the side pathways towards his home

He turned just to find a frighten face of Hailey.----

Alex- A boy in his 18s with black hair, a so and so handsome face, little greyish pupil

Hailey- A girl in her 18s with black hair hinted with a touch of brown, A gorgeous beauty and Top beauty among freshmen.

Emily- A girl in 18s, hair highlighted with a touch of blonde and brown, with a beautiful face.
