Chapter 6:

Questions…

I'm Basically The Strongest

With Lira's departure, Ryūken finally had a moment of peace and quiet in the enigmatic library. He stretched and let out a sigh, a sense of calm washing over him. It felt like a brief respite from the mysteries and challenges that had surrounded him.

However, as he glanced around the library, his eyes fell upon the wanted poster he had noticed earlier, bearing Lira's image. His mouth widened in surprise, and a realization dawned upon him—

"Oh, I can't believe I forgot to ask her about that poster!"

He had forgotten to question Lira about the very thing that had led her to seek refuge in the first place.

Curiosity and concern welled up within him as he contemplated the enigmatic circumstances surrounding Lira.

Ryūken let out a resigned sigh, deciding to put his concerns about the wanted poster on hold for the time being.

Ryūken's thoughtful nature led him to consider the importance of making a positive first impression. He thought to himself, commenting inwardly, "Even if I had the chance to ask her about the poster, I wouldn't want to make someone I've just met uncomfortable. First impressions matter, after all."

With a sense of understanding and patience, he acknowledged that there would be an opportunity to broach the subject later, when both he and Lira were more comfortable with each other.

With the matter of the wanted poster temporarily set aside, Ryūken turned his attention to the persistent floating window that had been hovering in his field of vision. He furrowed his brow and decided to inspect it.

+1 Min….

As Ryūken inspected the floating window, his curiosity was piqued by the mysterious "1 Min" displayed within it. He couldn't help but wonder what this enigmatic countdown signified and what significance it held in the grand scheme of the library's mysteries.

Thoughts raced through his mind as he pondered its meaning, and he thought to himself, "What could '1 Min' possibly mean? Is it a timer of some sort, or perhaps a countdown to an enigmatic event within this library?"

The enigmatic challenges of his current situation seemed to multiply with each passing moment, and Ryūken was determined to decipher the meaning behind this peculiar message, knowing that it held a clue to the enigmatic secrets of the world he now navigated.

Ryūken couldn't help but sigh in frustration as he stared at the enigmatic "1 Min" displayed in the floating window. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't discern any clues as to what the timer might be counting down to. The uncertainty of the situation weighed on his mind, leaving him with more questions than answers. He sighed and decided to explore the library.

As Ryūken delved deeper into his exploration of the enigmatic library, his determination to uncover answers grew stronger. However, with each book he inspected, he couldn't escape the puzzling realization that they were all exact replicas of those from his own world.

"These books are just like the ones from my own world. But why? What's the connection between this enigmatic library and the reality I know?"

The library held more questions than answers. He then decided to check out the place. Ryūken's curiosity drove him to explore the enigmatic library thoroughly. Inside, he found a couple of interesting rooms.

The first room he encountered resembled a cozy bedroom, with a neatly made bed, soft furnishings, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. A dimly lit lamp on the bedside table cast a gentle glow, creating an ambiance of comfort and tranquility making Ryūken wonder why there was a bedroom in the library.

"Why is there a bedroom in this place?" he mused aloud, his curiosity piqued by the strange and unexpected discovery.

In stark contrast to the bedroom, Ryūken stumbled upon a room where the walls were lined with thick chains and heavy locks. The enigmatic purpose of this room became immediately apparent as he inspected the chains. The chains seemed to lead to nowhere, disappearing into the walls and floor. T

As Ryūken examined the room with the chains and locks, he couldn't help but comment on the peculiarity of the enigmatic chained door. "This chained door is certainly unusual," he remarked aloud, his curiosity getting the better of him once again.

Ryūken's exploration of the library led him to discover more rooms, each holding its own unique mystery.

The bathroom was a clean and well-lit space. It featured pristine white tiles and a gleaming porcelain sink, with a large mirror above it. The room was stocked with fresh towels and toiletries, and a faint scent of lavender lingered in the air. It was an unexpected yet comforting oasis within the library.

The next one was the kitchen was a cozy space with warm, wooden cabinets and a polished granite countertop. The room was equipped with appliances and cooking utensils, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air. It felt like a place where one could prepare meals, and Ryūken couldn't help but wonder about its significance within the library.

Ryūken, feeling a bit fatigued from his explorations, made his way to the bedroom and flopped his body onto the bed. As he took in his surroundings, he couldn't help but come to a conclusion, which he commented on with a sense of bewilderment, "This library is strange. Normally, libraries don't have rooms like these."

The presence of a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen within the library had left him perplexed. It defied the typical expectations one had of a library, and Ryūken couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this place than met the eye.

Lying on the bed and staring up at the ceiling, Ryūken's thoughts wandered deep into contemplation about his current situation. He reflected on the extensive knowledge gained from reading Manga and Manhwa in his spare time. Many of the isekai stories he had encountered followed clichéd patterns—a priest summoning the protagonist, waking up in a mysterious forest, or other typical scenarios.

As he pondered this, he couldn't help but marvel at the uniqueness of his own experience.

While lost in deep thought, Ryūken couldn't help but ponder the mysterious nature of his own memories—or lack thereof. He remembered his deep fondness for Manga and Manhwa, but beyond that, his past remained a blank slate. He didn't even know his own name, and this gap in his memory left him feeling a sense of unease.

He mused to himself, "I have these memories of Manga and Manhwa, but nothing else. My own past, my name... it's all a mystery."

The uncertainty of his own existence weighed heavily on his mind, leaving him with unanswered questions that begged for clarity. Ryūken knew that unraveling the mysteries of the library was intertwined with uncovering the truth of his own past, and he was determined to discover the answers.

With another sigh, Ryūken decided it was time to get some much-needed rest. He knew that he had plenty of questions and mysteries to unravel, but for now, he would leave them to his future self. With a soft smile on his face, Ryūken muttered to himself, "Good luck, my tomorrow self." As he drifted into sleep, he embraced the anticipation of the enigmatic adventures that awaited him in the days to come.

The rain continued to pour outside, creating a steady downpour that showed no signs of letting up. The rhythmic sound of raindrops against the windows added a soothing backdrop to the library's mysterious atmosphere.

While Ryūken peacefully slept within the library, a mysterious figure clad in a mask and sheltered beneath an umbrella made their way toward the building.
