Going for a walk

As I woke up, I noticed Nina staring down at me in athletic wear.

"How'd you know I have a thing for sportswear?" I asked.

"Huh? I was just waiting for you to wake up so we could exercise together," Nina blushed.

"So what do you wanna do? I'm bad at yoga, but wouldn't mind watching you."

"You need to exercise too."

"How about a walk around the neighborhood?"

The two of us walked hand in hand as we strolled around the block. I did get a few weird looks, but I don't care. Heck, the weird looks are probably just for me in general, rather than the hand holding.

"Hey, why're you walking and talking to yourself?" a snarky kid asked.

"It's called a headset, sorry where were we?" I asked Nina, ignoring the kid.

"You were gonna tell me about a nice place," Nina smiled.

"Right through here."

We arrived at a grassy park that bordered a natural waterfall and lake. Children could be seen splashing and playing about.

"Should have told me we could swim, I would have brought my swimsuit," Nina pouted.

"Nah, it's better for someone like me to go when no ones around. When the brats are in school is a nice time," I stated.

"Just so you know, I can't change my clothes anywhere."

"I'm surprised you have another outfit."

"Yeah, it suddenly appeared on the floor all folded up."

"Now that you mention it, the shoes also were just suddenly by the door. I guess you're becoming more real," I smiled.

"I'm happy to be with you."

"Same for me. I look forward to the day we can watch our children play here."

"First we need to play here ourselves though."

"Alright, tomorrow's a school day so we'll come here in the mid morning and swim."

I looked forward to that date with Nina.
