Chapter 1:
Hangin out with the gyarus
My sister’s been kidnapped by evil mages, but I’m too powerless to save her. Therefore, I’ll write a message on the wall and hopefully someone strong will see.
As I paint the message, the creepy consul walks by, however, he grabs me by the scruff of my neck and throws me in a cage. Purple flames erupt…
“Hey!”
Back at the mansion I-
“HEY!”
The sudden noise causes me to slam my head into my desk, rousing me from my isekai fantasy. I turn to see my classmate, Hanabi Nanatsugi.
“Ah, Nanatsugi-“
“I told ya, everyone can just call me Hanabi. So what were ya so engaged in?” she asked.
“I was the 3rd child of a nobleman in a fantasy world. My older sister had been kidnapped, and I painted an S.O.S. on a wall to try and get someone to save her. Then the consul appeared, and took me back to my estate, thinking I was being a troublemaker. Then purple flames. Then you woke me up,” I grumbled.
“Why a weak kid? Wouldn’t yaw wanna be an OP version of yourself?”
“That’s just how the dream went.”
“Oh. Anyway, come hang out with us,” she smiled as she began dragging me out the door.
“HUH!?
Hanabi Nanatsugi was a gyaru that transferred here at the start of the year. She’s very energetic, positive, and for some reason took an interest in an introvert like me. I know not her reasoning, yet she always seemed to enjoy it when I told her about my dreams and fantasies.
…
Once we reached the gate, we saw 3 gyarus waiting.
“Hey guys! Let’s hang out with Hiroto-kun today,” Hanabi smiled.
Wait!? She wanted ME, a high school boy to hang out with her and 3 other high school girls!?
“Yeah sure, bring him along. It’ll be fun,” one of them said.
“HUH!?
I nervously walked with the four gyarus.
"Say, you were havin a weird daydream in class, tell us about it Hiroto-kun," Hanabi smiled.
"It was just a dumb dream."
"So? Who cares if its weird, dumb, or makes no sense. You never know if it might lead to someone making a cool manga if you tell everyone about it," one of the other gyarus said.
"Um-"
"Oh, name's Mirai. Guess we never introduced ourselves."
"Ai," one of the other gyarus replied.
"Kuragi!" The final one happily shouted.
"So now that we know each other, tell us about the dream!" Hanabi smiled.
"Ugh. It's incomplete, fair warning. So I was in a fantasy world as the young son of a nobleman. Then my sister got kidnapped by evil mages, but I was too powerless to save her. So I wrote a message on the wall and hoping someone strong would see.
As I painted the message, the creepy consul walks by, he had a long nose, pale skin and wore a top hat. He grabbed me by the neck and threw me in a cage. Purple flames erupted, then I was back at the mansion, which you can only reach via boat. The town is kind of like Venice in that waterways are the main way to traverse the town."
"See, it was a crazy dream just like I told you guys," Hanabi smiled.
"Sending that to the writers blog, sounds like it could make a good isekai," Ai grumbled.
"Hey, let me at least think of something first!" Mirai pouted.
"You cool with sharin your dreams online? We won't say it's you or anything," Kuragi asked.
"It's fine. I really don't care about getting credit. I'm not a writer anyway," I replied.
"Great, let's talk over crepes!"
...
We sat down and enjoyed talking about the weird dreams we had.
"So you write about every dream you have?" I asked.
"Yeah, they're easy to forget. Some are boring, some are interesting, some feel like you're not dreaming at all. Plus, many people throughout history have been inspired by something they dreamt about," Hanabi smiled.
"Still, it does kind of feel weird for a guy like me to be hanging out with you four."
"You've got a dream goldmine though. Besides, you're not a pervy guy as far as I can tell, and Kuragi's a black belt."
"I only took it cause my fam runs a dojo," Kuragi yawned.
"I saw her throw this giant guy once," Mirai bragged.
"The sumo wrestler right?" Ai asked.
"I thought it was the creepy landlord," Hanabi chimed.
"All of the above," Kuragi affirmed.
I now have a fear of Kuragi.
...
As the sun began to set, we began to go our separate ways.
"Oh yeah, we're totes trading numbers, and hangin out again," Hanabi smiled as she whipped out her phone.
I guess I'd be hanging out with these girls again and telling them more about my dreams. Well, I guess its nice to have more friends.
