Student Army, Form Up!

From a young age, Olive had been a cowardly and introverted boy.

Since he never really talks, he could only wonder what was going to happen when he was forced to work together with others for the Culture Festival Cleanup Committee. Thanks to having one of his classmates, Puppet, being chosen alongside him, Olive felt saved. Even if his partner complained “Seriously?” and “This sucks”, he was grateful. Just thinking about going to the Science Lab alone, it made Olive’s heart easier to have a friend join him together.

Down the corridor, they passed through the substitute room for the Table Tennis Club, and listened to the instruments from the Brass Band Club as they continued on, they turned the knob on the Science Lab’s prep room, as it didn’t seem to be locked. This would be the first meeting of the Cleanup Committee, so they tried not to let their upperclassmen wait. Since they seemed to have come before the teacher, yet it was unlocked, they thought they might have come early, but it seems there were already guests. The inside of the room was illuminated by the sunset, and dyed in a vermillion color. There was a boy sitting on a chair.

“You guys are in the Cleanup Committee?”

“You too?”

Olive left the talking to Puppet, Olive only listened while hiding behind Puppet.

After a few minutes, the door opened with a loud noise. Two more of their seniors entered. Olive knew one of the two, she was pretty famous around here.

Razor Blade. His hair tied up in a ponytail that’s slightly outside of school regulations, and he wore her uniform rather sloppily. Because he gripped the Hand Dynamometer so hard it broke, they couldn’t measure her strength, or how he single-handedly fought a gang of thugs and beat them up, he was famous for these exaggerated stories. Even if Olive never heard of those stories, she still probably wouldn’t want to work with someone like Razor Blade.
