Hiromaki sighed at the so-called “Book of Troublesome Guests.” The ongoing list categorized them all- long-time pains, incoming threats, and returning disruptions. If you made a reservation of any kind for Rogue and your record wasn’t spotless, Miyano would know.

Begrudgingly, she did her duty and flipped through the thing, forced to set her project aside again.

Section 1- Residents.

Kaneko was always at the top of this one. Plenty of folks were, but the point of the tome was only to make sure nobody crossed the line. Anything up until that point, and often a single step over it, was what she considered an acceptable loss- collateral damage.

Section 2- Guests.

This selection was the more worrying one. The back half of the book was a gallery of unfamiliar names- that said, those American girls were here- sure enough, the very same ones from Kidney’s game.

At least they aren’t liars, the director thought to herself as she scanned the pages. Finally she found him.

Nate Cavefield…

The boy was locked in to stay for an undisclosed amount of time. Even now, no information was provided to her. Wouldn’t have mattered to the owner, but when everyone below her heels were scratching at her to throw him out it was damn annoying she couldn’t so much as tell them off with a number. It should’ve been a good thing- not bothering to charge someone like him felt like the right thing to do, but as her advisors put it, soon every asshole on the street would be Munchausen-ing their way in once word broke. She thought people would know better than that- but then again, there was a gallery of jerks already in her weathered hands.

Miyano couldn’t help but sigh again. It didn’t matter. She’d fend the vultures off him until the angels came.

Never one to overlook things, the stoic director went back to make sure sure she hasn’t missed anything above the boy… and almost audibly gasped once she finally noticed the old face near the top of the section.
