Chapter 134:

Escaping The Danger (Ryuu)

Wolf Bloodline

"Will you tell us what you think, too, Kid? We can't just wait here forever." said Hiroshi's voice, taking me out of the momentum I was in.

Everyone knew the exact answer that would come out of my mouth. And leading to the point where we could go or follow, they just wanted validation from me on drawing a simple line on our actions and many more. Not to wait a little longer and lose our lives, not to get stuck in the fear that was happening at that moment. It was the to need of getting out of that situation much quicker and before nothing happened.

They only wanted to hear it, just from me.

"Get the ship ready. We're going to the third kingdom." I said confirming everything we had to do, and picking one of the options up even though it was unstable how it was going to turn out.

I kept away the words and phrases from my talks that would lead us all to doubt or decry. So I was trying to go beyond lying to everyone in the group and come up with a plan where we could get the least damage based on the facts and the actual truth. And so, thanks to this plan, we made our way to the ship section and were following each other through our steps at a fairly fast pace.

When we got to the side of the ship, the soldiers had already started putting supplies on the ship for us. From many foods to drinks and clothing, the sweat dripping from their foreheads was the work of the fear created by the dozens of ships approaching at that moment and that they had personally. However, the soldiers still kept their tasks of placing supplies quite informatively and strictly, taking strength from their legs, as if they had received information about how great a setback "fear", would create in the war. And being the best thing they could do, the idea of the ships getting much close before they had put in some effort, was much scarier.

So while they were going around, we were making our way to the ship at the time, and the king was talking to us while it did.

"My soldiers have reviewed the ship for any mishaps. Apart from the damage caused to its substrate, it can't be said that it has a lot of problems, but we have provided the necessary support there with timber, and I don't think you will have any problems during your flight.

In addition, according to the information we have learned and the information provided by your friend Shou, the ship is operating at the will of the person wearing that ring. The stronger the willpower of the person, the faster the ship will go and increase your speed. But in both ways of anything happing, a number of things have been added to the ship to make your journey easier. In this way, you will be able to use the wind to your advantage and get away as fast as possible. And you can be there in about two or three days."

Turning my head anxiously to the king, I tried to oppose the situation,

"But there is no clarification of Miron giving up chasing us and trying to deal with here first. He might just attack here first to slow us down or take the land to his advantage."

"Keep it fresh, warrior, it won't happen. Miron has no power nor authority over the royal high court or any similar situation against me. Even if he tries to attack me here, he will face a big war against himself, except for killing the vast majority of the people of the sea. And after all, since he's after you, I don't think he'll ever risk anything like that and delay his "work"."

Miron, not only made his name heard around, but also had a work ethic, even over killing people or just destroying everything they had. He had dozens of men, not only working for him just because they wanted or fought for the cause of getting us caught, but with the fear that they had of him.

Every single one of the people outside of our reach, was in his, and his control only. It was like we were both swords, but cut the different things.

But not only getting far away from the sudden moment I was in, I decided to shake it off, and at least show my gratitude for the king and the others.

"I don't know what to say, thank you for everything....."

"You don't have to thank me. Thanks to you, our lands will be able to have a part of peace again. In addition, after a two-week period, when the sun sets at dawn, we will rise up again and organize a trip to the third kingdom too."

He then touched my shoulder and added smiling, "So until then, take care of yourself."

"You too, King Heinrich. You too."

As we were about to board, Lezlie took her rabbit out of her bag and handed it to the king slowly before leaving. While the king was trying to figure out what had happened, Lezlie once again began to talk.

"I have not been able to take much care of her during our journey, and I am quite worried and afraid that something will happen to her. I have heard from you that you take care of the animals here and have the necessary equipment to care for them. So for me, it would really flatter me if you took care of her for a while."

The king, slowly took the rabbit in his arms,

"Of course, I will look after her with precise care. You all go somewhere you'll be safe."

She stroked her one last time, knowing that it was the last thing left of her mother. A little friend that was embarking on journeys with her. As she did not want any harm to come to it, she knew how little herself could protect it on the journey we were going to take. That's why she was leaving it here so that no harm would come to it. Although it was as if a small part of her had come out of it for her, she couldn't manipulate herself into the past by getting such a feeling right now. Just all she could do was walk. Walk away from the only memory of her mother.

Mila was the last person left when everyone got on the ship. She had turned to his father, confidently, and was saying goodbye.

"Dad, take care of yourself. I just....I am going with them. And I-....." As she stuttered upon her words, she decided to talk truthfully,

"I don't know what to say to you."

But the king didn't see that as a problem. He just turned his head to his daughter, after looking at us inside the ship, and gently put his hand on his daughter's face,

"Don't worry, my girl. This worry in your heart is one of the most important features of your life that you need to face. Maybe it scares you a lot right now, but it will lead to being one of the most beautiful parts of you, and you will finally be able to make your own way. Yes, maybe you're stubborn like your mother, but I'm glad you are. Because you taught me something big. You made me relive the value of fighting for someone, to your father, who was lost for his own purposes. For not covering my eyes with my desires, not polluting them, and not allowing me to guide you on things I could not handle. That's why you're free to do whatever you want."

He then added his one last word, with such a straightforward tone,

"Just promise, that you will live your life, with your decisions only, truthfully for the good of other people and yourself."

"I promise."

The King hugged his daughter one last time,

"Be careful, my little girl. I love you."

"You too, father."

Mila was the last person to board and was the last person to say goodbye around us.

So when she got on board, the ship was ready to go, and its sails finally came down. When the ship went out to the open sea, Shou, using the ring on his finger, ventilated the ship and it became ready to fly.

It was a very nice feeling to travel on a fantastic ship like this without having any kind of fight. It was just so soothing to listen to the wind and be able to sit down and have a rest while the ship shook us like babies. But not to the pain in my back.

Since I was injured, my strength was still not in place, so I looked for an area to lie down before the ship was shaken thoroughly and I retreated to rest again. When we reached the clouds, we were back in the sky and started to make our way to the third kingdom, which was our next stop.
