Chapter 4:

Chapter 4

History's Strongest Tour Guide

Today started like every other day.

In a small town called Azul, many passerbys walked in all directions, moving in all directions, subconsciously staring at the peculiar dashing youngster in striking attire.

It was strange to say that though they'd never seen anyone dress like that, it still looked cool from a bystander's point of view.

The youngster used a finger to tilt the front of his brown hat, looking into the distance with a calm smile.

No wonder people didn't recognize his outfit.

In this world, there were no great movies like Indiana Jones or even The Mummy.

Explorer movies were almost nonexistent, as though no one had ever thought of such movies becoming hits.

Well, it only aided his quest of showing people what true explorers and adventurers looked like.

From head to toe, he was dressed like Indi.

He had the hat, the cool Jacket, the shirt, the rugged pants, the cross-over bag, the whip, and the boots.

Lifting his head, Glen Chu finally saw his excited friend getting off a cab.

"Hey! Glen! Glen! I'm over here!" Han Ming waved excitedly, not only because of the adventure trip but also because he was happy to see his good buddy after so long.

He too was wearing tourist attire bought from Glen Chu's website. There were several types of outfits to choose from. Some were designed after characters in the Indiana Jones franchise, and others were designed after characters in the Mummy franchise.

However, the outfits Indian Jones and Rick O'Connell wore were strictly for Glen Chu, the tour guide.

Han Ming was dressed like one of the Americans in The Mummy.

He had a pale bluish brown shirt, knee-high brown boots, and very old school pants.

It was odd to say that the pants fit him well even without a belt. So why are the suspenders attached to the pants?

Well, Han Ming wore the suspender straps over his shoulders and was surprised to see how much of a difference it made to the whole outfit.

Han Ming has never admired himself more than he did when he first wore the outfit.

What was a man? He was a man!

Typically, clothes like this should make him look chubbier than he was. Yet, it somehow did wonders to make him look manly.

Han Ming had even wondered if he should grow a beard for the part, knowing if this adventure thrilled him enough, he would become Glen Chu's most loyal customer!

.

"It's great to see you, Buddy!"

Both men hugged, slapping each other's backs warmly. "Don't worry about that cowardly bastard! From the moment he dared to do that to you, he was no longer my friend too."

Han Ming was talking about the backstabbing friend who killed the original owner all because of a girl.

Seeing how concerned and loyal Han Ming was, Glen Chu felt his predecessor was lucky to have a true friend like him. In that case, he too would treat Han Ming well.

"Alright, alright. Let's forget about him, lest it ruins our mood. I promised to give you an adventure in your life. You know I've always been stricter than most people, and have always excelled in physical activities. But what you didn't know was that I was secretly going on little adventures of my own, building my skills until I could start my own Tour Guide Company... Brother Ming... I want to share my adventures with the rest of the world."

Glen Chu's words not only shocked Han Ming but left him speechless. It's no secret Glen Chu is strong, but how come he didn't know his bro was going out on adventures on his own?

Well, he didn't blame Glen Chu for not telling him earlier. Everyone has their secrets, including him.

There were some things that only his family knew of but his friends didn't. Likewise, there are some things his friends know of that his family remained clueless about too.

Glen Chu secretly sighed seeing as he 'bought' his made-up story.

"Han Ming. As my first customer, you'll get a special reward by the end of your adventure."

Han Ming felt teary-eyed. "Brother Chu, you're really my good brother... Though I should probably be honest and say I don't fully believ in our trip."

"_"

Glen Chu felt their heart-warming moment was gone.

"Okay, okay, okay. It's time to leave."

Like that, both men in strange attire got in a cab and headed for the entrance of the famous Azbian Forest.

Pretending to get his drone from his cross-shoulder bag, Glen Chu conjured the drone and took it out.

"Buddy... when we get back, should I buy you a better drone?" Han Ming suggested, seeing how ordinary it looked.

To be honest, its exterior wasn't anything to write about. It looked too plain and not eye-catching at all.

Glen Chu chuckled, directing Han Mind to his live broadcast channel.

"Once I go live, you'll see why I like it."

Heh.

Han Ming didn't believe it, but didn't know that soon, he would be eating his own words.

Ding!

[Live Broadcast has started.]

The system sang in Glen Chu's ears. And soon, Glen Chu could see the many comments on his smartwatch.

In today's world, drones could be controlled by smart remotes and watches that could also display comments and other features.

Of course, for Glen Chu, he didn't need it since the system's transparent blue interface already displayed all comments.

However, if he didn't want to look suspicious, he had to act as though he was reading everyone's message from his watch or phone.

Almost instantly as he began live broadcasting, 1 or 2 people entered his room, one was Han Ming, and the others were people coming to confirm whether he was truly going into Azbian Forest.

The title of today's broadcast said: Mysterious 3-Day Tour across The Azbian.

They felt it must be a joke or hype to bring more people to watch.

It was just that they weren't prepared for the shocking scene blockbuster image they were getting.

"What the hell is this footage? Let me go, it's so clear, I can almost feel its essence!"

"Upstairs, you are not alone. I wasn't expecting anything, but I came in receiving fatal flows to my eyeballs. Crazy! This kind of footage should be a blockbuster, right?"

"I don't care! I don't care! Just for the anchor's drone power, I'll subscribe and stay!"

"The one upstairs, I'm already ahead of you. But anchor, are you really going to take us through the same Azbian we know?"

Glen Chu smirked seeing how curious the group of 10 visitors were. Don't look down on the number 10. If he played well, he might grow to 100 or 1000 in a blink of an eye.

Word of mouth from them is the fastest publicity he could get right now.
