Cause And Effect

The scene opens up with Aalto panting like he just ran a marathon standing on a tree

He would then say "Phew...looks like I lost monsters."

Aalto would then try to recollect what ozul said before he fell unconscious as he remembered he would then go quiet and say

".....so this is his real training..."

As aalto said this he would then lie on the tree with his stomach growling

"dang it...all that running made me hungry again...maybe sleeping will help" 

As aalto slowly closed his eyes not even an hour later the sound of roaring awakened him, he woke up to notice the same monsters but in a pack, all in symmetry walking towards Aalto's tree while the eyes of the creatures looked as if they are a hungry predator who had found its prey ready to feast 

Aalto feeling the murderous aura emitting from the pack of creatures would then startle him making his heart beat as he climbed down the tree and took off running as fast as he could the pack would then start to chase after aalto

Aalto would then think to himself

WHY ARE THESE MONSTERS SO INVESTED IN EATING ME!? 

As Aalto ran his breath felt heavy, and his heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest and fly away as there would be immense fear in his eyes praying that he wouldn't get eaten

Aalto got a good look at the pack of monsters gaining on him there would be wolves, goblins, and-

as Aalto tries to analyze his situation an ogre comes out of nowhere and swings his huge wooden club which is the size of its head toward aalto

Aalto instinctively blocks the attack with his arm but the wooden club breaks his arm and hits his ribs which nearly completely shatters but doesn't thanks to his arm; in the process, he flies through some trees, in a desperate attempt aalto then activates his defense spell to try to protect himself barreling through the trees as he would then continue to fly

Aalto finally stopped flying and landed near a lake as he landed the defense spell would break from impact and also hindered future injuries

Aalto's arm would look like a noodle completely drenched in blood and his left side ribs would be bleeding 

Aalto would try to get up but can't because of the pain he would then look and see that a huge twig would be lodged in his leg implying that the defense spell broke in that area his leg would be bleeding heavily 

As Aalto's adrenaline would run out he would start to feel all this pain and scream in agony as the ogre and pack of monsters would start to creep up to aalto 

Aalto would see them and use his sheer willpower to get up limping and holding his left arm with his right arm he would limp as fast as he can away from his predators and then lose strength and fall down 

Aalto would then sit there on the ground clinging to life trying to get up but can't as one of the wolves would get to aalto and is about to bite him, Aalto's wand starts to light up and the lake would light up as well like the wand would be sending a signal for help as a sound from the water that sounded like a dolphin would radiate and then

A baby dolphin would jump out of the water like a guardian angel falling from the heavens aalto would then see the dolphin and before he closes his eyes he would see that the dolphin seems familiar to him

"D...or...o...thy?" said aalto as his voice went out and he then fell unconscious

Dorothy would be in a bubble made out of water floating and making a squeaking noise sending a banshee-type spell that would make the pack of monsters and ogre back away and run

Dorothy would then go to aalto and poke its nose at aalto trying to wake him up but no response; Dorothy would then make a clicking noise sending an echo-location spell radiating to aalto and it would show her that Aalto's heart is still beating but extremely slowly

Dorothy would then manipulate the water from the bubble and make a hand that would grab aalto softly and carry him to safety

A few days later 

Aalto then wakes up in what seems to be a cave Dorothy nudges her nose at Aalto's face as he slowly wakes up he first notices that his left arm is bandaged, as is his stomach, and his leg he then fully wakes up, and notices Dorothy in her floating bubble, and he would jump up in pain and surprise and confusion 

"UHH D-DOROTHY Y-YOUR... W-WHY ARE YOU........." says aalto as he would be too speechless and startled to even conjure any words or a response to his current situation

Dorothy would smile and go to aalto and nudge her nose on his face as a sign of affection and relief

"h-hey Dorothy I'm okay..don't worry" 

Aalto would then ask "Hey Dorothy...what happened? The last thing I saw was...I guess you saving me.."

Dorothy would then make whistling noises sounding like she was talking and explaining what had transpired

Aalto would understand what she is saying because this is how they figured out how to communicate with each other when aalto first met her

"wow...so my wand made an SOS-type signal and you're saying my mana is connected to you so you got the signal and that is how you found me..." says aalto still baffled at this information

Aalto would then breathe in and out "Whew...thanks Dorothy...I owe you one."

Dorothy would then smile and aalto would then pet her as Aalto's stomach would growl

"ugh..need food..how long have I been out?" 

Dorothy would then whistle and tell him

"THREE DAYS!?" says aalto as he looks for any of the monsters poking his head out of the cave

The coast would be clear as aalto would put his shirt back on and walk out of the cave with his wand in his hand Dorothy would be floating near Aalto's shoulder as aalto would walk looking for any potential food

The forest would look beautiful as leaves would fall, the sun would beam, and the air would feel sweet as aalto would admire the wilderness in amazement

As Aalto would then see a bunny in the distance he would prepare to use his wand then he would think to himself

Wait...what if I miss wouldn't the noise scare the bunny away?... Yeah... Maybe I shouldn't do that

Aalto would then grab a stick and pretend it was a javelin then he would aim it and hurl it towards the bunny but it would miss and the bunny would run

"CRAP!!" says aalto as he would grab the stick while chasing after the bunny the bunny would be far ahead 

The bunny would then pretend to jump but then make a turn right

Aalto then noticed the bunny turned but it was too late as he felt his foot going off a ledge as it would be a hill and he fell screaming falling and tumbling down the hill

Aalto would then finally land on some bushes

Dorothy would be above aalto and laughing at him

Aalto would then spring up from the bushes and spit out some leaves

"yeah yeah...sure is funny huh Dorothy?" says aalto sarcastically 

Aalto would then get up and pat off the dust 

"well, there goes our food...any ideas Dorothy?"

Dorothy would then start going towards a nearby lake Aalto would then follow Dorothy

A couple of minutes later

They would arrive at a lake and the water would appear clean and pretty aalto would admire the lake

Dorothy would hover above the lake and whistle to Aalto

"Hm? You want to signal me any fish coming near my way then I can catch one?" says aalto

Dorothy would whistle saying yes then aalto would grab his stick and get near the lake and get prepared

Aalto would wait patiently as Dorothy would then make a whistle noise signaling aalto as he would then hurl his stick into the water and miss the fish

"DANG IT!" says aalto as he grabs his stick and tries again

A few hours later it would be nighttime 

Aalto would have collected zero fish in the span of doing this as he would pant heavily and sit down

"wow...not a single...one."

Dorothy would float over to aalto worriedly

"hey it's okay Dorothy.. I'll get food... Sooner or later..."

Aalto's stomach would growl as he would get up, grab his stick, and walk back to the cave sadly as he grabbed some more sticks on the way

As he got to the cave he would sit down and make a fire 

He would then lie down near the fire and fall asleep as Dorothy would snuggle up to aalto and sleep with him

A day passes

Aalto would be up and ready already hunting for food he would then find the bunny again he would then hide in a bush holding his stick

"hmm... Yesterday when I tried to throw the stick it missed...maybe if I applied the same theory that I used for my spell it could work.?" said aalto quietly 

As aalto then took his stick and aimed it at the bunny but this time he took a deep breath and carefully aimed it as he hurled it at the bunny the trajectory changed at the last second and scratched the bunny then the bunny would scurry away as fast as it can

Aalto would be amazed as his theory worked again even though it still missed he would then grab his stick and rush to the same lake from yesterday and try again

A few hours passed

Aalto would then do one last hurl and it would finally hit a fish and he would catch it he would look at it and smile and cry with tears of joy as Dorothy would go up to him and nudge him for appreciation

"hahaha. Thanks, Dorothy" As Aalto would say this he would then pet Dorothy

Dorothy would squeak happily 

2 months has passed

Aalto would have longer hair then he would sneak up on the bunny his eyes would look as if he has locked onto his prey then hurl his stick and at the last second the bunny would sense the blood lust but it would be too late as it would get impaled 

"I GOT IT! I FINALLY GOT IT!!" 

Aalto would then walk up to the impaled bunny but he would look sad and close the bunny's eyes then he would take it and walk back to the cave where there would be a bed made out of wood, a fireplace, and a table made out of wood all made by aalto

Aalto would put the bunny on the table and make a fire as he would cook the bunny on the fire and eat it he would share it with Dorothy

In the middle of eating a family of bunnies would show up

Aalto would notice them and stare into their eyes as the bunny who seems to be a female and two baby bunnies who seems to be its kids would stare at aalto and it seems like they know that aalto is eating their husband/father

The female bunny would hiss at aalto with glaring red eyes and hurl at aalto

Aalto would then grab another stick and block the attack but get pushed to the ground as the female bunny would gnaw the stick trying to bite aalto as aalto struggled to get it off him

Dorothy would be trying to help but getting attacked by the other two small bunnies

Aalto would then look at the female bunny's eyes and it would look desperate and angry as aalto would cry

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... I'm sorry!! ...I didn't know. he had a family" aalto would be crying trying his best to get the bunny off of him but also not trying to hurt it

The female bunny's teeth would almost break the stick as aalto would see that Dorothy would get bit by one of the bunnies and try to use its magic but get pounced and getting gnawed on by both of the bunnies

"N-NOOOOO DOROTHY!!!!!" said aalto in a fit of rage as he would then get the female bunny off him and prepared to impale it he then looked at the female bunny and said "I'm sorry..." 

Aalto would then look into the female bunny's eyes and hesitate for a second then impale it there would be blood spilling everywhere 

The two little bunnies would notice their mom has gotten killed and then hiss in anger and run to aalto with the intent to kill

Aalto would have a lifeless expression in his eyes as he would start fighting the little bunnies one would bite him and the other would get sliced then aalto throws the living bunny off him and then stomps on him

The small alive bunny would cry and the reflection in its eyes would be aalto striking it down and impaling it as the life in its eyes would diminish 

Aalto would then have blood all over him then he would drop the stick and look at his hands covered in blood and looking at the mess he would then break down and scream at the top of his lungs crying in agony 

Even though he and Dorothy survived aalto felt guilt and regret

Dorothy would go to aalto to comfort him as aalto would continue to scream and cry

Aalto would stop screaming and then look at Dorothy and say "Dorothy... Why... WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN WHY!?"

Aalto would continue to cry as Dorothy would whistle to aalto

"revenge....yeah... I guess so... I did kill their dad... So I guess...it makes... sense.."

Aalto would continue to cry as Dorothy would comfort him
