Chapter 1:

I'm Innocent

Sent To Hell

"Kai Stanley, can you tell me what happened that night?" The woman in white asked the young male distinctly. He stares at her vacantly, looking virtually lustreless. Messed up black hair, pale skin. Eyebags in hues like bruises nearly complimented his silver orbs. Whenever one looks at him, they can never guess what he would be thinking. What does that mind of his be thinking of? No one shall know. Dried cherry tinted lips stretched into a smile as he reminisced a memory. It played like a film, vividly before his eyes as he tapped his feet on the ground.

"It was Monday morning. I woke up happy. I scored a date with the girl I have been in love with for so long. It took many years for a miracle to happen. I nearly thought I wasn't perfect for her but I guess she finally saw me for who I am. You should have seen her. She was so beautiful. Wavy golden hair, smooth like silk. Soft like feathers. Blue pearly orbs like the sky that carries the whole universe. I'd rather drown myself into them than stargaze. She was breathtaking, so euphoric. Her porcelain skin that sparkles, her buttoned nose and rosy lips. She was nirvana. Elegant and so warm. I got to call her mine that day." He began telling his story with a crooked smile settled on his face. His heart ached at the thought of her. She was everything for him. She truly was, and what happened could never mend his broken heart.

"I dressed up nicely that day. I mean, I always dressed up nicely however, that day I wanted to impress her. So, we met at this cat cafe that we agreed on. Gosh, you should have seen her. She was mesmerising. She outshines everything. I couldn't take my eyes off her. My heart was racing as we interacted with one another. She was everything I dreamt of.” He sinks in his chair as warmth spreads within him tremendously. “Our date at the cat cafe went smoothly and we decided to carry on with our date. I bought everything she wanted and everything I thought she deserved, truthfully. After all that, I dropped her home at around 10pm." His fingers clenched onto nothing, his nails dug inside his palm, leaving him to bleed. His expression starts to change significantly. Tears streamed down his cheeks with that smile still lingers on his face. A soft laughter abruptly ripples from within him.

The lady in white did not fancy what she heard. Everything he utters thrills her to the bone. His laughter and the sounds of his feet tap, has started to daze her.

"I was going to leave, however, I was hesitant about something. I wanted to tell her more about my feelings. So, I waited around 10 minutes walking back and forth like a mad man. Thinking whether I should call her out for one more time, where then I saw her with another guy by the window sharing a kiss.” He whispers the last words dangerously. He brought his shaky fingers to rest on the cold white table and leaned closer to the older lady as he resumed in that same whispering tone. “She tricked me. Mrs. Jean.. She tricked me. She deceived me. She made me believe that I was the only one for her but she lied. She lied and that hurts a lot.” He slams his blooded palms on the table with betrayal written all over his face

“It felt like knives stabbed through my heart to every organ I had. Every piece of me shattered to a point there was no way for every wound she caused would mend. Nothing could fix that. She…” He choked in between his cries “She lied and you know what liars get, Mrs. Jean?" He asked with tears flowing down his cheeks and a twisted smile that has never left his features. His head tilted to the right, his distorted smile only grew bigger, he started letting out soft broken laughters but those soft broken laughters shifted hysterically. His body shook from laughter. The chains around him clinked against one another, melodized with his uncontrollable laughter.

"Call me a maniac but I am a saint. I did the world a favour and sent her to hell where she exactly belonged. God must be proud of my work." His laughter only grew louder with a smile brighter than the sun. He was proud of himself.

"Kai Stanley, where did you leave her body? Answer me now." Mrs. Jean asked furiously. Clearly she had no patience when she interrupted him. The fear was enhanced within her. She believed she was losing her mind.

"Oh no.. Mrs. Jean, that was not nice. You can't interrupt me like that. Allow me to finish. I haven't reached the best part yet. I'll tell you once I'm done. So, hear me out." He was taken back by her behaviour. He wasn’t very keen with how she interrupted him.

"She thought she would get away with it but I had her hypnotised not long after she was done with her lies. Girls like her are easy. It was so fun watching her being obedient to me. The way she followed me helplessly, thrilled me. Gosh, I got butterflies in my stomach." His shoulder shook violently from his laughter, tears of joy rolled down replacing the stains of pain he had earlier. He lowered his head, staring down at black fingernails with a cheeky smile. He has never stopped tapping his feet on the ground and that alone has driven Mrs. Jean crazy.

"But, I was disgusted at the same time. Don't get me wrong. I really hated her. So, I had her following me to my house. It didn't last very long. My house was just a few blocks away. I ordered her to go to my room and I dressed her up. My little doll, she listened well. She had to look good. At least that's the nicest thing I could do for her before sending her to hell." He whispers the last words loud enough for her with a bewitching tone. He stares at the old lady with a deadly look and as he continues "After that, I asked her to follow me again. This time we left home to go somewhere far, far away. Somewhere only the dead like her knows." He creepily smiled at her with his foot tapping the ground, nonstop. "Focus on the sound and obey your master, Jean " he whispered quietly in between. "When we reached the vacant warehouse, I asked her to drown herself in gasoline and to light herself with fire.” He explains nonchalantly.

“You see.. I didn't kill her, she just listened to me. How was that my fault? I only watched her burn to ashes. That's why you'll never find her. So, my dear Mrs. Jean? Everything I just told you is just fictional, far from reality, now come and unchain me. Be the good girl you are." He commands her and she willingly stands up, intoxicated, bewitched by him. Her mind is no longer present. She walks to him and fulfils his wishes like a puppet.
