Chapter 26

Some weeks later, on the 23rd of January, I woke up, got ready and left for school. It had been so long since I had last talked to Senpai. The last we had talked was when that stalker thing had happened. Since then, everybody had become very busy as on the 20th of January, Friday, there was a parent-teacher meeting and almost everybody  in the school was worried about it. I wanted to see Senpai at the meeting so bad but I didn't see him anywhere. 

It was so cold today and I was so happy that my flu was gone now because I had a bad flu earlier. 

I came home in the afternoon today because there was a power blackout. The lights were out at the entire neighborhood, including my house and the school and there was darkness everywhere. 

When I was done with my lunch, I got a call from an unknown number. I answered it and was shocked to hear Senpai on the other end. 

"Hello," he said. 

"Hello. Senpai?!," I said. 

"Y-yeah, it's me, Taki," he said. 

"How did you get my number?," I asked him, blushing.

"I got it from Kei Momobami from your class. I'm sorry I didn't tell you," he said. 

"No. It's fine," I said, "Well, why did you call me?." 

"Um, actually, are the lights out at your place, too?," he asked. 

"Yeah, they are and nobody is home. My sisters are having fun in an amusement park with their friends and they told Mama they'd be outside till I guess, 6pm. Junnosuke is at the gym and I don't know where Ichiro is. My parents are at work. I'm alone at home," I told him, sighing. 

"So, um, do you wanna go somewhere, too?," he asked me. 

"What? It's so cold outside!," I said. 

"I mean, it's fine if you don't wanna go with me but I don't want you to be alone at home, you know," he said. 

"Ok, but where should we go?," I asked him. 

"Let's explore cafés!," he said. 

"What? Cafés?," I asked him. 

"Yeah. There are so many amazing cafés! Let's go to these cafés! Ok?," he said, "Get ready. I'm coming to your house!". 

"Ok. Bye!," I said. 

I ended the call and ran around the house in excitement. 

Yay!!

Then I quickly ran to my room and got dressed while being on call with Mama. I told her I was gonna be outside and the house would be locked. She said okay and I was so happy! 

I wore a blue colored top that had a flower pattern on it with black straight jeans. I was wearing winter leggings under the jeans. I was wearing a brown coat. I wore a black Raiders beanie. I wore my pink and white colored Adidas sneakers and had my fawn colored handbag with me. 

I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked good, I guess. My hair were long so I let them down. 

Then, there was someone at the door. It was Senpai! He looked so good! 

He wore a black beanie, just like me. He was wearing black straight jeans, just like me. He wore a blue colored shirt underneath a brown coat, just like me. He looked so hot! 

I was shocked, though.

His clothes were the same as mine. 

"Senpai, we look like a couple," I said. 

This was the first thing I said to him when I opened the door. 

"Oh, yeah," he said and blushed. 

We were silent for a minute. 

"Let's go," he said. 

Then we went to the bus stop. He  showed me the locations of all the cafés. They looked cool. 

The first café was an owl café. The owls were so cute but scary. We had to rate the best owl. So I voted for this owl called Chisu because she was so obedient. Senpai voted for Chika because she was clinging to him. Cute!

The second café was a maid café. It was fun. We got this maid called Arima to serve us. She was a kind girl but she was literally drooling over Senpai! I know he's eye candy but gosh, he's eye candy only for me!

The third café was a vampire café. It was so gothic. There was this 'Sir' there who was really hot! I could tell he was only two or three years older than Senpai and he had me staring at him. He came to our table to take our order. He winked at me. God, he was so hot! I absolutely forgot Senpai was there, too. But we left really fast because Senpai was super jealous of that 'Sir'. 

The fourth café was a ninja café. It was amazing. They had a shuriken shooting area and I won against Senpai. I got a big shuriken plushie as a gift. I'm not such a big fan of plushies, though. 

The fifth café was a café called 'Made in Heaven'. The place was literally heaven! The café had soft pink colored walls along with the floor. Everything about the place was a great paradise and they gave us a heart shaped detachable keychain. What? Why?

When we got out of the heaven café, I was so tired and was literally going to pass out. My legs were already dead because of a game that me and my sisters had played on Saturday. I told Senpai that I had had enough and I wanted to go home now. 

So we went to the bus stop at 6:30pm and I was very sleepy. I wished the lights were back because today, even school had to be over early due to the power blackout. So I just wanted some light in my life. 

I didn't knew we were getting off at a mall because when Senpai and me got off at a mall, I was shocked. 

"Senpai, why are we getting off at a mall?," I asked.

"I'm taking you shopping," he said. 

"What? But I'm already very tired. I can't walk anymore!," I said. 

"It's fine. Let's go," he said, dragging me inside.
