Chapter 27:

Chapter 27

Me and Senpai

The mall was so big. I was shocked that we were at such a big place. I wasn't worried about money or anything. I was worried about my poor legs.

It was so crowded. I thought I was going to get lost.

Wait.

Actually, I think I am lost because I don't see Senpai anywhere!

Oh my God! Where is he? The crowd was too much for me. I hate crowded places so much.

I tried to make my way among the people. Then, suddenly someone grabbed my arm. I didn't know who it was. I couldn't see the person in the crowd.

The person who had grabbed my hand quickly led me through the crowd. I thanked the guy who had let me out of the crowd.

"Why did you help me?," I asked.

"You seemed troubled because of the crowd. So I helped you out, miss," he answered and left.

God bless him.

I quickly ran my eyes around the place and I saw Senpai walking towards me. Oh, thank God!

"Who was he?," he asked.

"No one. He just helped me through the crowd," I said.

"You're sure you didn't know him?," he asked.

"Of course I didn't. I mean, if I would've known him, he and me would've been talking right now," I said.

He nodded and grabbed my hand and led me towards a shop in the mall.

"Let go of my hand! You always hold it without asking me," I said.

"Do you want to get lost in the crowd again?," he asked.

"No, I don't. But, that doesn't mean that you have to grab my hand. I'm not your girlfriend!," I said.

He looked at me, blushing.

Sheesh! Did I say too much?

He averted his gaze and led me to the shop. I was blushing, as well.

The shop was so amazing. It was a dress shop. I love dresses but I usually go for more casual outfits.

Wait!

Was he gonna buy me a dress?! No! This is wrong! What will my parents say if they found out a guy bought me a dress?! They're very strict in the matter of dating and romance.

I stopped in front of the shop.

"What's wrong?," he asked.

"I can't do this," I said.

"What? Do what?," he asked.

"You're gonna buy me a dress, right? I can't take it! I can't let you do that!," I said.

"But, I want to buy you a birthday gift!," he said, blushing.

I blushed. I let go of his hand. He was shocked.

"What's wrong? You don't like dresses?," he asked.

"No, it's not that. Senpai, you're a guy! You can't buy me a dress! What will I say when my parents will ask me about it?," I said.

"Just say that I bought you a dress!," he said.

"No! You don't get it! It's not so easy!," I said.

"Then, should I buy you a guitar? Nobara did break your previous one," he asked.

"What? No! Are you out of your mind? And why do you have the money to buy a guitar?," I said.

"So you do want a guitar?," he asked.

"Of course I want one. But not from you! I'll buy one myself. I'm saving up money for it," I said.

He sighed.

"So that means you won't take a gift from me?," he asked.

"I didn't mean that! I just said that a dress or a guitar, I.......I can't accept gifts like that. Just buy me something small," I said.

"Small? But what do you want that's small? I mean, which small thing do you like?," he asked.

"I don't know. A keychain, I guess," I said.

"What? A keychain?! I won't give you a keychain. That's absolutely stupid!," he said.

I was angry now. I love keychains. How dare he call them stupid?

"Fine! I'm leaving for another shop. You can go wherever you want to," I said.

I turned around and left. But I was blushing.

Why did he want to buy a gift so bad? That cute idiot!
