Chapter 12:
Saishuu-tekina Mirai
Yasuho walked into the training hall and was greeted by Kalli, standing alone on the stage.
“Well Yasuho? Ready as can be?” Kalli said smiling.
“Ready as I’ll ever be!” Yasuho exclaimed. She walked onto the stage and put a glove on her hand. “You want the first hit?” She said cockily.
“You sure? If so, I’ll gladly take that hit!”
Before Yasuho could react, Kalli had hit her in the stomach and sent her back a few meters, near the edge of the stage. Kalli teleported back to his standing position.
‘It feels like my stomach has a hole in it!’ Yasuho thought. She got up and prepared to go for an attack before she got hit back down by Kalli. Yasuho grunted in frustration, he was way better than Keice. Yasuho continued to get up and get smashed back into the stage until the stage began to crack.
“Wow, durable girl ain’tcha?” Kalli remarked, impressed with her inhuman durability. He knew he wasn’t holding back, and she had taken near twenty and was still able to stand. He hit her down again and the stage broke, sending Yasuho into the ground. Concerned, Kalli ran over to the hole before Yasuho broke through the stage and hit Kalli into the air.
“Where in the hell did you come from?” Kalli yelled as he teleported to the ground in front of the battered Yasuho.
“The ground.” Yasuho replied, her response barely audible.
“Well, I’d better get this match over quick, eh?” Kalli laughed. He quickly launched Yasuho off the stage in a single kick.
“Fighter 2, Kalli, wins!” The robot scorekeeper exclaimed.
Yasuho got up and felt her wounds disappear along with their pain. “Wow, how’d that happen?” She asked, dumbfounded.
“I did it.” The woman she saw earlier stood behind her, she gave a shy wave to Yasuho. “I’m Na’avi by the way, what’s your nam?”
“Y-Yasuho! My name’s Yasuho!” She stammered out as she looked at Na’avi. Her beautiful ebony skin shone brightly along with her cute smile.
“Someone’s in love!” Kalli teased from the corner.
“S-Shut up Kalli!” Yasuho yelled, her face flushed. She looked back at Na’avi, who wore an embarrassed expression. Yasuho used this time to get a closer look at Na’avi. She wore a faded black design T-shirt, a green vest, a pair of black sweatpants and black shoes. Na’avi’s eyes met Yasuho’s for a second before Na’avi turned away and walked out hurriedly.
“Smooth move, Ex-Lax.” Kalli said coolly.
“I’m this close to murdering you, don’t test me.” Yasuho responded angrily as she stormed out of the hall after Na’avi.
