Chapter 11:

“Well, I guess we should probably head to the Guild.” Kalli said

“Yeah, I guess so.” Yasuho responded, the dumbfounded look still plastered onto her face. Everyone else nodded in unison.

“Hey, Mr. Kalli..?”

“Just Kalli works, Yasuho.”

“Ok, Kalli, what kind of magic do you have?”

“You want to see?” Kalli turned his head halfway, looking back at Yasuho and giving her a grin.

“Sure!”

As Yasuho finished her sentence, Kalli had moved from way in front of the pack to just in front of Yasuho.

“It’s space magic.”

Yasuho fell back in shock of his sudden appearance.

“Oh! Sorry for scaring you!” Kalli let out a hearty laugh and continued to lead the group back to the guild.

‘The hell was that?’ Yasuho nearly screamed out loud, but managed to resist the urge as she got to her feet. She knew she needed to see how powerful his magic was after they got to the guild.

As they reached the guild, Yasuho pulled Kalli aside.

“I want to see how powerful you are, could you spar with me please?” Yasuho asked, barely able to contain her excitement

“Sure! I wouldn’t mind, especially if it’s someone as impressive as you!” Kalli responded, his eyes glowing with a fire brighter than on Yasuho’s sword.

“It’s a deal then!” Yasuho jumped excitedly, gaining weird looks from all the people in the hall.

“Haha, not so cold now that you want to fight?” Kalli teased

“Nope, I’d say I’m pretty damn fired up now!”

As Yasuho walked towards the sparring hall, she saw a drop-dead gorgeous woman brush past her. The two met eyes and the woman gave her a warm smile. Yasuho felt her heart skip a beat as she walked into the sparring hall with overflowing confidence for her match.
