Theo, inexplicably meeting demise at the hands of the hero, finds himself reborn as a feeble, infant goblin on the 27th floor of the Roots of Akasha. The enigma behind this transformation remains elusive, for Theo is not the sole recipient of this peculiar resurrection through arcane sorcery. Encircled by the deceased who persistently evade demise, they endure perpetual decay, preyed upon by scavengers and infested with maggots. Their sole purpose: to propagate a virulent contagion, tethered to an interminable existence at the feet of the deceased. Can Theo withstand the relentless onslaught of infection, or will he succumb to the bite, metamorphosing into a putrid being?
