VII. Veiled Intrusion

Roku lounged in the bath, relishing the warmth enveloping him, his thoughts drifting lazily. Levi sat nearby, idly flipping through a magazine and occasionally commenting on recipes he found interesting.

Roku walked out after he had taken a fresh bath, "You should let me make dinner tonight," Levi suggested, grinning mischievously.

"Your cooking experiments sometimes end up as disasters." Roku chuckled.

"Maybe I'll let you take over tonight, just to save us from another culinary catastrophe."

Before they could continue their banter, the tranquility shattered. A loud crash followed by the shattering of glass echoed through the house.

Roku and Levi shot up, their eyes wide with alarm. Men, clad in masks and wielding firearms, stormed in, their presence instantly seizing control of the peaceful ambiance.

Roku and Levi froze, understanding the gravity of the situation. They knew any resistance would only escalate matters.

The intruders swiftly bound and blindfolded them. They were led away from their home. When the blindfolds were removed, they found themselves in an unfamiliar location.

The tension hung thick in the air as the leader of the group stepped forward, a figure Roku recognized from his past encounters with the Underdog gang – Samuel.

"Yo! Roku, you got some nerve brat!" Samuel said following it by punching Roku, Samuel and his men started punching Roku and Levi for a while until there was no part in their bodies that wasn't injured.

However, the threat took an unexpected turn when Samuel menacingly wielded a knife, directed toward Levi.

Roku's heart pounded in his chest as fury and fear collided within him. He felt a surge of protectiveness toward Levi.

But instead of giving in to the primal instincts, Roku took a deep breath, trying to reason with the situation. "Samuel, please, this isn't necessary," Roku pleaded, trying to keep his voice steady.

However, Samuel seemed determined to provoke a reaction. As he made a threatening move towards Levi.

Roku's adrenaline surged., and his Ackerman blood pulsed, granting him clarity of mind and an uncanny swiftness. With swift reflexes, Roku managed to break free from his restraints, surprising everyone in the room.

He surged into Samuel and punched him, the punch broke some of Samuel's teeth, his eyes reflecting a terrifying look that Samuel and his men found frightening.

Samuel ordered his men to attack Roku but nobody had the nerve to even get near him, Roku didn't say a word and started to free Levi.

Samuel took advantage of that and decided to attack him from his back, but Roku's reaction was beyond humans, he encountered the attack and beat Samuel with one kick.

Suddenly all the men started rushing toward Roku like a flood. Roku with a knife in his hand started to attack one after another, after killing many of them, a lot of men fled with their boss,

Roku then untied Levi carried him on his back, and walked to the street, Roku was a murderer he murdered a lot of men from the gang, the scene was a terror to the people, a boy carrying another with his whole body and clothes were covered in blood, Roku's resolve was to always protect who he cared for even if the cost was his life, Roku like any other Ackerman became a slave to person, and that person was Levi.
