A world unraveling

DAYS GONE

As they sank deeper into the embrace of sleep, a sudden jolt shattered the fragile serenity. A distant scream tore through the quietude, echoing off the school gates and reverberating through the desolate corridors.

Suzuki's eyes snapped open, her instincts immediately on high alert.Yuta stirred, the tranquility of sleep replaced by a tense awakening. The echoes of distress grew louder, and urgency replaced the remnants of their momentary peace.

Their eyes met, mirroring a shared understanding that the world outside their cocoon of rest was unraveling with each passing second.

Without a word, they rose from their makeshift rest spot, shadows dancing on the walls as the dim light flickered overhead.

The school, once a sanctuary, now stood as a hollow shell, its corridors fraught with the ghosts of a lost civilization. As they approached the gates, the sounds of desperation intensified.

A chorus of pleading voices intertwined with the guttural moans of the undead. The air hung heavy with uncertainty, and the moon cast eerie shadows on the scene unfolding before them.

Suzuki and Yuta, both their eyes filled with determination, prepared for what lay beyond the gates. The world outside, once known for its structure and safety, now revealed itself as a chaotic battleground where humanity fought to hold onto its last shreds of normalcy.

The scream for help persisted, a stark reminder that, even in the midst of sleep, the unraveling world demanded vigilance.

The gates creaked open, revealing the unknown that awaited them—an uncharted territory of danger, despair, and the relentless struggle for survival in a world that seemed to slip further into the abyss with every passing moment.

With each step, the cries of the little girl grew louder, and the shadows of the undead loomed larger. In the midst of this apocalyptic unraveling, Suzuki and Yuta embarked on a perilous journey, guided by the desperate hope of saving an innocent life in a world that seemed to slip further into the abyss with every passing moment.
