Chapter 6:

Time to shine

Rising Hope

It's matchday. Miyu wakes up and immediately goes to the stadium to warm up and get ready. The fans cheer for him as he warms up. They get into the dressing room, and the atmosphere is tense. The manager announces that Miyu will play in a forward position. When Miyu asks which one, the manager says ST. Miyu has never played in this position, but he says he will try his best. The manager tells the team to play aggressively and attack, and so the referee blows the whistle. The game has started, and Roma gets the ball. It's the 2nd minute, and the striker dribbles through the whole team and SCORES?! The players and fans of Sevilla are shocked, and the manager is furious. Sevilla was under pressure for the rest of the game until the first half finished. They get into the dressing room, and the manager shouts and scolds the players. Miyu gets onto the field determined to make a comeback for his team. The 76th minute hits, and nothing happens until one of the Roma players gets the ball, dribbles from the right side of the box. As the defender tackles him, the player dives, and the referee says it's a penalty. Miyu was furious and started arguing with the referee, and he gets a yellow card. The player steps up to take the penalty, and he shoots...IT'S SAVED, but he gets the rebound and HE MISSES AGAIN. The goalkeeper saves, the defender clears it, and a Sevilla player gets the ball and sprints with it from the side. He crosses it to another player who heads the ball to Miyu, and Miyu volleys it in. IT'S A GOAL. The fans jump and shout, but there are 14 minutes left, so they get back into position and keep the ball in their own half. Until the 90th minute, the referee indicates 1 minute of stoppage time. So, Sevilla launches one final attack, and Miyu gets a freekick from 30 yards out. He sets the ball and gets ready to shoot. The ref blows his whistle, and Miyu shoots...and it hits the crossbar, but it comes back to a Sevilla player, and he heads it in. IT'S A GOAL. The fans swarm the field, and chaos erupts. The players are escorted out because of a fight between the fans, and Miyu is the man of the match. He now has 2 Man of the Match awards in the Europa League and 3 Man of the Match awards in La Liga. After the police get involved, the fans run away, and Sevilla gets back on the field to celebrate their new trophy. It's Miyu's first-ever European trophy, and he is the top scorer of the Europa League. Miyu goes back to his hotel, and of course, fans are swarming him, but his bodyguards protect him. He celebrates with Riku in their hotel room, and it's another successful day for Miyu.
